As an elderly executor for the sale of a flat in West Ealing I was impressed from the start with the professionalism, politeness, punctuality of all the staff I dealt with at the New Broadway branch of Gibbs-Gillespie - but most particularly the personal thoughtfulness and attention of Leah Verasammy, Luke Malik and Rohan Berry. The economic conditions have not been easy for marketing property, but it is in hard times that you see true colours. I would not hesitate to recommend this team.

branch and the sale team, Luke took me viewing me viewing and helped me push the process efficiently, and well explained the property with his incredible knowledge; Leah helped me a lot with my purchase process and explained all the questions, which made my purchase smooth and get the property purchase exchange and completion quicker than I thought. Rohan also gives me excellent advice for my Property decorating helpful. The entire sale team made me feel warm when I got my key and gave me a lovely and lovely gift box on my completion day. I bought a property through the Ealing Broadway branch and Leah, Rohan and Luke were great throughout. I was overseas when I first saw the property for sale and Luke kindly took a video of the property for me. Once my offer was accepted Rohan was very accommodating with several visits I wanted to make, whilst Leah was a star in keeping the sales process moving. She kept lines of communication clear and frequent which really helped alleviate the stress of the purchase. Got there in the end! Great team, would definitely recommend.

From the very beginning, communication was great. And in my case, this great communication was key.
I dealt with a particularly difficult buyer's solicitor. Leah and Rohan were very efficient at getting things done, seeking the information where needed and keeping everyone up to date.

We used Northfields to sell our Shared Ownership flat. They had a steady stream of viewers coming in, during a VERY difficult and competitive market for sellers due to Covid. But in particular, Leah's persistence and hard work once we had found a buyer was priceless. Regardless of the difficulties that come with dealing with solicitors and housing associations, Leah was always on top of what was going on, helping ourselves and our buyer to be on the same page at all times etc. She helped from all angles in making sure that the process kept moving towards exchange, always with full understanding of personal circumstances on both ours and the buyer's side.

Importantly, when the nervous moments came up (and we did have a couple of hiccups because of solicitors and housing association), Leah was always reassuring, using her knowledge of the processes to help keep us sane and explain some of the unfamiliar jargon in plain english to us. She guided us on how to avoid delays, when to make offers on rentals to avoid excess costs etc. Her communication was brilliant and we never felt alone. Honestly - the only person throughout the whole process of selling who we really felt truly supported by. This is the first time we've ever sold, and we've always heard tropes that estate agents are a nightmare - in our case, this couldn't be further from the truth. With all of the costs of selling, our choice of estate agent is the only thing that feels like we have gotten amazing value for money.

On the basis of our experience with Leah, and Northfields more broadly, we have already recommended them to others we know who are thinking of selling. We're renting for a bit next as we're moving further afield, but next time we buy, I also hope we get someone like Leah. I really feel like she does her best to find the best solution for all parties, so that buyer and seller can have a successful exchange.
