Second delivery I've had from these…

Second delivery I've had from these guys for heavy gym equipment from Decathlon. Same as before - top notch, friendly and kept me informed an hour before arrival. Young bloke moved heavy weights like it was nothing, I can only aspire to match him one day!

Had delivery of 75 inch TV and paid the…

Had delivery of 75 inch TV and paid the extra to have them unbox and setup for me. Glad I did, as its bloody massive and I am cack-handed. These guys were great - fast, efficient and placed where I wanted etc. Turned it on so that I could be happy it wasn't damaged in transit etc. Very, very good.
My guys were m44 Prince and M74 HamJot (sorry if that's wrong, can't read the handwriting well). But yeah, they were brilliant, would definitely recommend.

Excellent delivery to Rayleigh

Excellent delivery to Rayleigh. On time, got a phone call letting me know when they were an hour away. Then the young fella loaded loads of heavy weight lifting equipment into my garage for me. Impressed since I'm struggling with the lightest weights in the box haha! Friendly too. Highly recommended.

Wanted an ultra wide curved monitor

Wanted an ultra wide curved monitor, but a decent one. And was already splashing cash left, right and centre after moving house, so wanted to keep costs down. Found an ex display with ebuyer that saved me a couple of hundred quid and is in perfect condition. Boxed well, delivered well. Happy boy.

Leah has been brilliant!

Leah has been brilliant!

We used Northfields to sell our Shared Ownership flat. They had a steady stream of viewers coming in, during a VERY difficult and competitive market for sellers due to Covid. But in particular, Leah's persistence and hard work once we had found a buyer was priceless. Regardless of the difficulties that come with dealing with solicitors and housing associations, Leah was always on top of what was going on, helping ourselves and our buyer to be on the same page at all times etc. She helped from all angles in making sure that the process kept moving towards exchange, always with full understanding of personal circumstances on both ours and the buyer's side.

Importantly, when the nervous moments came up (and we did have a couple of hiccups because of solicitors and housing association), Leah was always reassuring, using her knowledge of the processes to help keep us sane and explain some of the unfamiliar jargon in plain english to us. She guided us on how to avoid delays, when to make offers on rentals to avoid excess costs etc. Her communication was brilliant and we never felt alone. Honestly - the only person throughout the whole process of selling who we really felt truly supported by. This is the first time we've ever sold, and we've always heard tropes that estate agents are a nightmare - in our case, this couldn't be further from the truth. With all of the costs of selling, our choice of estate agent is the only thing that feels like we have gotten amazing value for money.

On the basis of our experience with Leah, and Northfields more broadly, we have already recommended them to others we know who are thinking of selling. We're renting for a bit next as we're moving further afield, but next time we buy, I also hope we get someone like Leah. I really feel like she does her best to find the best solution for all parties, so that buyer and seller can have a successful exchange.
Thanks Leah, you made a big difference.

I should note that everyone else at Northfields has also always been very helpful, whether its administrative paperwork etc, countersigning for us, or even just colleagues relaying a message. Highly recommended.

Actual radio unit is great

Actual radio unit is great. The fascia for the 2007 Honda civic did not fit. Had to saw part of the car off. But I'm not a professional installer, maybe I did something stupid. Anyways got it in in the end. Had to splice the park cable with earth to get into android auto. But now its all set up I'm quite happy, the fascia only protrudes slightly but it's secure. Delivery was quick and instructions were mostly clear.

Deliveries on time

Deliveries on time, never had an incorrect delivery in 3 months now. Fur baby eats all 4 options we get, but goes especially mad for Lamb Casserole. High meat content is what we we after. Lilys was a good compromise between higher meat content and not giving our cat a higher weekly food bill than us. There are others even higher in meat, but the price increase is much steeper curve at the upper end, so Lilys made sense for us.

I've really enjoyed being a Beer52…

I've really enjoyed being a Beer52 member. The price is reasonable for quality beers. I had tried another service that always let me down with frankly nonsense beers, but I always look forward to my box from Beer52, as they usually have a good variation and interesting themes each month. Their customer service has always been great - I had an issue with a courier they used (said courier has a terrible reputation on the development I live on), but Beer52 quickly changed things so that I always had my order sent with a different courier - never had a problem again. I also had the pleasure to deal with Clare Bevis earlier, as I need to cancel my subscription for now. She could not have been more helpful. I really enjoy my subscription and the customer service is great, so in the future I will almost certainly start my subscription again.

Delivery roulette - will they deliver the parcel? Place your bets.

When they actually manage to deliver they're fine. But they have a habit of "trying to deliver"....but really they don't. You can be in all day and they'll say they attempted delivery but nobody was home. Even though there is no knock, no calling card etc etc. Then they make it impossible to get in touch with any sort of customer service, so your parcel gets returned to sender. Zero accountability and zero customer service.
