Swoon dealt efficiently with my damaged item

I recently purchased a coffee table and a chest of drawers from Swoon. The coffee table is very elegant and we are very happy with it. Unfortunately, the chest of drawers was damaged upon assembly by the delivery team. Swoon Customer Service were beyond helpful - they quickly recognised the issue and offered me a choice between returning the item or keeping it at a considerable discount. I opted for the latter, and have received the refund within 24 hours. That level of reassurance that any issues will be resolved promptly by Swoon, in a way that allows the customer to decide the preferred approach is a testament to Swoon’s excellent customer service!

Efficient and professional

We hesitated before booking Top-Removals due to their slightly more expensive quote as compared to other companies but we are glad that we did in the end. We had 2 men (and a van). They arrived on time, and did a fabulous job moving our entire place (1 bedroom) from the 4th floor with no lift to the new property. The moving in/out part was incredibly quick - less than two hours, whilst we expected it to take twice that time. They handled fragile stuff with care, nothing got broken (or lost). They were courteous and nice, all in all, this was an excellent service!

Successful completion in 3.5 months (March 2023)

I used LPL to buy my first home. Luke, my case manager was very professional and helpful. Emails were always promptly responded and I understood what was happening and what the next steps be at every stage. The entire process took 3.5 months, and Luke did an excellent job at managing my expectations. He also picked up a couple of unexpected and serious issues with yhe paperwork, which he was able to address and resolve successfully. The only area of improvement is the LPL app/online portal. Messages (and sometimes submitted documents) were not picked through the portal so I would have to resend them/chase via email. The progress estimate and updates were also a bit off on the portal, so it was more reliable to call in and ask for updates, which however could be more time-consuming. Overall, the experience was positive and I would definitely use LPL again.

Professional and helpful - Northfields were fantastic

We have been working with Northfields (who has since become Gibbes Gillespie) for roughly 4 months on a purchase of our first home. The entire process - from booking a viewing, attending the viewing, having follow up questions, attending a 2nd viewing (and a 3rd) and going through the conveyancing has been excellent. The team has been nothing but professional, cordial, and extremely helpful and Leah in particular was key in assuring that we complete on time (which we did). Rohan and Luke have also been great. I wholly recommend this agency for your sales and lettings!
