They have only ever given me their best service and I have been a client now for over a few years. I have bought just lenses, just glasses and the pair together! One time I messed up my prescription and because I did a specific lense or something I got a free redo!

Do not use this website!!!

Do not use this website!!!! Never got my glasses. Can't talk to anyone or get help. Everything just goes in a loop and they tell you that you'll get a refund in 2-3 days and you'll never see it. Biggest waste of my time and money and nothing to show for it.

My experience with this company's return process has been completely unacceptable. Despite returning my item over a month ago, I have still not received my refund. The company repeatedly delayed the process and provided misinformation regarding the timeline.

Adding to the frustration, the company requires customers to pay for their own return shipping, which is an uncommon and **unbelievable** practice for an online business. They also failed to specify exactly what would be refunded in their instructions in the original "Email". Their lack of communication and transparency ultimately forced me to file a dispute to help get my money back

This is a poor way to conduct business. A company that boasts about its return policy should honor it in a timely and honest manner.

I am impressed with eyeglasses.com due to the fact that they have a very well organized website (with a huge selection) that makes it easy to find the exact frame that you are looking for. They accurately make lenses with very high prescriptions, which is no small thing. They polished the edges without me even asking them to do so, which enhanced the appearance of my glasses. When I called to ask specific questions about the lenses, they allowed me to speak to an optician, which was very helpful. I appreciate the fact that chat is available to ask questions and receive answers in real-time.

Customer service runaround with a simple refund buyer beware

I accidentally ordered one set of frames without inputting the prescription so I contacted customer service and said I have two active orders, please only cancel this specific order number with the non prescription lenses. They assured me it was done correctly and I was refunded the next day. I had a feeling I should double check and sure enough the wrong order number was cancelled. I called and spoke to customer service and they told me that I was mistaken and the prescription order hadn't been cancelled as I'm viewing the account page and seeing the exact opposite information. The rep also told me my order had been cancelled without me being notified at all because the frames were unavailable and I expressed that this was not reflected in my account history. I requested both orders be cancelled and that they email me confirmation and that went fine, but it's now been 8 days and the refund i was promised in 3-4 has not appeared on my bank account or afterpay account. Customer service gives me the runaround reassuring the order is cancelled but I still am expected to complete the payments on afterpay and they have no record nor does my bank of the refund. I'm super frustrated and disappointed with the customer service and I feel as if I've been scammed out of almost $200 for a cancelled order.

Overcharged me, won't give money back

Response to reply: you forgot to mention that a discount was applied at checkout and the total was $295.20. You then somehow cancelled the discount several days later and charged me the difference without notification or my permission. That is credit card fraud - I would know, I'm a freaking fraud investigator. I'm already disputing the charges with my HSA acct. Administrator. Should that fail I will escalate and this will end up with a federal complaint and criminal charges.

They charged me one price at checkout, then charged me two more transactions 4 days later. I reached out for a refund of the unauthorized transactions and they refused. This is theft. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from them as you can. A local retailer will be almost as expensive without the fraud.

I bought glasses with lenses and…

I bought glasses with lenses and received the wrong glasses without lenses. Customer service said that everything is fine and I received what I ordered. Avoid at any cost!!!

Absolutely excruciating

Absolutely excruciating. The process was extraordinarily difficult. So I called. A few times. I even spoke with a senior person, who talked over me constantly. I had so much time invested in this, that when I got the online part done, I shipped them my glasses as instructed. My glasses are typical, nothing special. Then the waiting, I called and spoke with someone in th lab who said the glasses were sent back to me, that the box hadn't even been opened. Very frustrating. Then more waiting and hoping to get my existing frames back. A real nightmare and very bad use of my time with nothing in exchange. Today I just tried another one of these online lens replacement companies. It was smooth and painless.

Shipping label issues

Eyeglasses.com had a website malfunction making it impossible to access and print the shipping label. Customer service promised a label the next day by email, which didn't arrive. I asked for compensation for the difficulty and they took 10% off the total. They reminded me I was getting free shipping (and should be grateful).

I printed the label and went to UPS. Just before I mailed the order, they called to cancel it, saying that since I had had so much trouble with their website, they were no longer interested in making my lenses.

Will never purchase from them again!!!

“My experience was horrible using eyeglasses.com. I ordered a pair of glasses the website said was in-stock. After about 2 1/2 weeks without getting an update on the shipping or processing of the order I called them and they stated the glasses were on backorder and it will be another 1-2 weeks before they would ship. After those 2 weeks were up I called again and they stated there was no change in status for my glasses. So I asked for a refund. This was a mess. I will never order from eyeglasses.com again!!!!!!”

Sunglasses Never Shipped

Ordered expensive sunglasses almost a month ago and they haven’t even been shipped. When I reached out to ask about a timeline, they promised they would be sent out in the next few days. They were not. Considering reporting them as fraud to my credit card company.

I've had trouble with the site

I've had trouble with the site. It takes about having VTO, but then I was told you don't have it. I order one set of glasses, then I returned them because I didn't like them once I tried them on. Now I ordered 3 more, hoping one will work.

$366 for glasses that they refuse to ship

THEY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED

Short story: Waited a month and a half and never received my glasses and probably never will. They can not fulfill my order but also haven’t cancelled it.

The other reviewers are being honest when they say “Do not buy from them”.

Long story: Ordered my “In stock” prescription glasses on 01/02/2025 with next day shipping. Read their policy and waited for the appropriate amount of processing days to question my order. I emailed them on 01/10 to ask why my glasses haven’t shipped yet and they told me they are waiting to receive them from the vendor and that they would arrive next week and ship same day. A week later, they switched my order status from “vendor” to “in progress” which lead me to believe that my frames arrived and they were putting in my lenses and getting ready to ship. Another week went by and my order still was not shipped. I emailed them again on 01/23 and they told me they were still waiting on my frames from the vendor and told me another 1-2 weeks at the most and shop same day. They changed my order status back to “vendor”. After 1 week, they changed my order status from “vendor” to “in progress” which made me believe they received my frames and were getting ready to ship my order. After waiting a week of “in progress”, I still did not receive an update. I emailed them for a third time on 02/07. They told me the frames would arrive next week and changed my order status from “in progress” to “vendor”. They strategically change your order status and they are “supposed” to receive your glasses to buy time but it’s all a LIE.

Lesson of the day: Even if a website shows “in stock” please verify with customer service that this is true. I noticed other websites are also advertising the same frames with “in stock” but when I reached out to them they told me they would actually need to order the frames from the manufacturer.

I FEEL LIKE I WASTED A MONTH AND A HALF FOR NOTHING. I JUST WANT TO MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE

Fine 2 Years Ago, a Joke Now

I bought glasses 2 years ago with no issues. Paid, shipped, delivered in a timely manner. Awesome!

With that said, the experience I had this year compared to the last was night and day. I placed my order at the beginning of December. Week after week, no update on my order. I email them, they say they're working on it. I e-mail them again a week later to make sure everything is okay. Then finally on week three, they admit they JUST got my frames in and will send them out with free 1-day shipping to make it up to me. Sure, that's fine. 2 more weeks go by, nothing. Free next-day shipping means nothing if they're not going to send them anyway. I cancelled and got all of my money back. I would avoid eyeglasses.com at all costs now until they get their ducks back in a row.

Do not bother with them

I placed order on January 10, 2025 It was accepted, credit card charged. Got request to submit written prescription. I did, got thank you for submitting, all on Jan 10. On Jan 14 I received notice from PayPal my charge was being refunded, I might add $0.01 short. No note/communication from Eyeglasses.com. I logged into account and order showed it was canceled. No reason. Frames showed in stock when order was placed and still did when they canceled. On Jan 14th I submitted email to customer support asking for explanation and pointing out frames show in stock. Got auto reply my request had been received. No actual response to my email. Refund received. My guess is I had coupons that got me a very low price and they chose not to honor the order. I will never deal with them again. Too much time wasted and clearly have their own agenda.
