Customer service runaround with a simple refund buyer beware
I accidentally ordered one set of frames without inputting the prescription so I contacted customer service and said I have two active orders, please only cancel this specific order number with the non prescription lenses. They assured me it was done correctly and I was refunded the next day. I had a feeling I should double check and sure enough the wrong order number was cancelled. I called and spoke to customer service and they told me that I was mistaken and the prescription order hadn't been cancelled as I'm viewing the account page and seeing the exact opposite information. The rep also told me my order had been cancelled without me being notified at all because the frames were unavailable and I expressed that this was not reflected in my account history. I requested both orders be cancelled and that they email me confirmation and that went fine, but it's now been 8 days and the refund i was promised in 3-4 has not appeared on my bank account or afterpay account. Customer service gives me the runaround reassuring the order is cancelled but I still am expected to complete the payments on afterpay and they have no record nor does my bank of the refund. I'm super frustrated and disappointed with the customer service and I feel as if I've been scammed out of almost $200 for a cancelled order.
