We booked our flights with checked-in…
We booked our flights with checked-in luggage included. However, when checking the itineraries from the different airlines, I noticed there was no checked baggage listed.
I called Trivalis, and they told me they were “already on the case", despite having had six months to fix the issue. We only found out four days before the flight, and only because we checked the details ourselves.
They’ve said they’ll refund the baggage cost, but the whole situation feels careless. If we hadn’t caught it in time, we would’ve had to pay extra at the airport for something we already paid for.
so far so good but i havent booked yet
My flight was canceled on June 13 by…
My flight was canceled on June 13 by Lufthansa. The airline rerouted me another flight. As I was not interested in that , I asked the airline to drop the whole trip and refund me. After making sure that the whole trip is droped I contacted Travelis to refund me. The coordination between airline and agency was callenging. Finally after 3 weeks , I received the total amount of refund minus 800 nok service fee. In a similar situation try to make every things clear , and contact the airline and the agency persistently to make sure of proper coordination.
Poor customer service and unfair refund fee
We booked a round-trip flight Oslo–Erbil for July 12–August 2 through Travellias. Due to the conflict in Iran and the rapidly changing security situation, Norway’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all non-essential travel to Iraq, including the Erbil region. Turkish Airlines first cancelled our tickets and then kept shifting the departure times without giving a clear reason. We don’t feel safe or looked after.
When we asked Travellias to help cancel and refund our tickets, we were told they can’t do it directly. Instead, we have to pay a 1 000 NOK fee per passenger just to submit a refund request to the airline—without any guarantee we’ll actually get our money back. That feels completely unreasonable.
I’ve also spoken to customer service by phone multiple times, but they refused to help. The agents were aggressive and told me I should have bought my tickets directly from the airline instead of through Travellias. They even transferred me to another department—which turned out to be closed—and now no one answers my calls.
Under EU regulation 261/2004, passengers are entitled to a full refund if a flight is cancelled or significantly changed without proper notice. We expect Travellias to process our refund without charging extra fees, or at least cover the fee themselves.
For now, we can’t recommend Travellias to anyone who needs flexibility and peace of mind when booking.
Shit company
Scammers
They would charge for a checked in luggage three times more than the flight company even if you do it with days in advance. Not recommended at all!
Paid for hand luggage but not included on ticket!
Booked through their site and paid 2X 27€ for the 8kg hand luggage. (55x40x23) but when logging in to SAS app there is no luggage included only the basic underseat bag…..Travelis has clearly kept the luggage money and not transferred that to SAS!
When confronting they customer support the answer was:
“..Please note that the service you requested is paid and it will be registered in airline`s system and it will be finalized 1 week before departure, to avoid any issues with it in case of a schedule change from the airline!…”
Seems fishy…!!
Update: The return flight got cancelled and I was rebooked to another flight. Luggage was added to the tickets eventually but nevertheless a stressful experience. Next time I will be booking straight from SAS or Norwegian. Saving a few bucks on these Momondo / skyscanner agencies are simply not worth the stress.
This guys are total cheats and liars
This guys are total cheats and liars.
Airline cancels ticket and they charge administrative fee close to 100 euros for refunding the amount of the ticket. Also they give false information that the administrative charges would be born by the airlines.
When you call up demanding the refund the CSR team disconnects the call.
Booked tickets to the Philippines…
Booked tickets to the Philippines around Christmas time to depart on March 24,2025. Was supposed to travel with a friend.
They managed to send me 2 tickets with my name on both tickets. They refused to do anything about changing the name on one of the tickets. Said it was my fault - definitely not theirs. Very rude treatment on the phone. They should have reacted to the fact that the same person apparently was travelling on two different tickets to the same destination on the same day.
DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING ON TRAVELIS - I WILL NEVER USE THAT LOUSY COMPANY AGAIN.
Greedy and unproffessional service
Scam alert! Booking through this third party was my biggest mistake.
They have suggested me to go with standard instead of basic paying extra noks so we receive additional services without fees. - 1st scam.
When airlines changed my filght itinerary, They agreed to provide me new itinerary but then Travelis needs extra amount to pay and confirm my new ticket. So, without any changes from your side, you have to pay each time airlines changes ticket. - 2nd scam.
You have to pay almost same amount as an adult for a new born baby - They initially agreed this service for free. It is okay to take standard fees but they demanded same amount as an adult to issue ticket to new born. - 3rd scam.
Airline agreed to change my itinerary since it was their mistake to reschedule but Travelis wont allow them to do. They have control. NOt only you loose money but also chance to change your preferred itinerary by paying extra amount. - 4th Scam.
They disconnect your calls if you question their integrity. They demand you amount, even if you buy upgrded services, they speak unproffessional.
Never I will consider Travelis for booking flight tickets. A lesson learnt for lifetime.
I made a double booking by mistake
I made a double booking by mistake - called them , they fixed it.
And send the tickets right away.
