I gave it one star because there is nothing below that sadly. I purchased a MFC-L3770CDW printer about 18 months ago. It has never ever printed a decent page, the colours are awful, the worse prin... See more

Horrible Company. Reasonably priced printers turn into terrible subscription obligation. They get you hooked in with a cheap printer, then they claim your ink wells are dry when they clearly have mo... See more

Un-ethical business practices (DO NOT BY INK BROTHER PRINTERS OR CARTRIDGES)

So I got a printer (new, never used)
We print 20 pages over two months.

Then black runs out.
Weird I think.
I buy a new black cartridge.
New cartridge wont work because of color cartridges out of color.
I check all the cartridges, all full, even the one we replaced.
The chip simply says they are empty, and support says that they are out of shelf-life.

This is really frustrating since I already bought a new black cartridge, which is told via software that it cant print.

Hope they get sued.

DO NOT BUY BROTHER PRINTERS.
Don't even accept a gifted new printer.

13 months old printer sitting in Brother workshop and company is not reacting to any communication

I bought a Brother DCP-L3510CDW A4 Colour Laser Printer in August 2019 and in October 2020 it stopped recognising new toners - the helpline technician could not help and said I can send the printer back to Brother Manchester for fixing - it arrived there on November 4th 2020 together with a letter - have not heard from Brother since and they are not reacting to my letter sent more than a week ago. They are boasting about sustainability and customer service and from my point of view these claims are utterly false. Based on this experience I will not ever buy a Brother product again and I shall let everyone know who wants to be warned

I bought Brother HL-L2300D

I bought Brother HL-L2300D. I'm a little disappointed. The product requires a cable to install onto the printer but didn't come with one in the package so I have to order one separately which is counter productive to my original intention.

Non-existent service

I tried to purchase a Brother printer for my business from two distributors (as Brother don't sell direct). Both companies, Currys and eBuyer said they had stock and they didn't. Both failed to resolve, and Currys didn't even bother to apologise. I contacted Brother to complain and they didn't even have the courtesy to reply. Having had many Brother products (for business and personal use) in the past, rest assured that won't happen again. We're switching to Epson for printers for the next purchases.

My husband bought me a Brother…

My husband bought me a Brother Quilter's Sewing Machine.
My machine has worked well, but when it didn't I was in trouble. I had a terrible time trying to get in touch with someone so I could fix the machine. I was told I had to go to a dealer to have it repaired, but all dealers are almost a hundred miles away from me. I went to the store where I had bought the machine and they said it is a disposable sewing machine.
Brother argued with me that their sewing machines are not disposable, and their qualified machine repair people can repair them.
I laughed at that since I had already established there is no one in our area.
By the time I was done, I decided to go buy a Singer Sewing Machine.

I bought a Brother printer

I bought a Brother printer, And it worked fine. It actually worked good. I used it to print some documents for Ackermann V. Mitchell et al in Baltimore Federal District Court. You can look it up on Google. I also used a Brother printer 9 years back when I started work at a retail company.

Faded line when printing from the top of the page to the bottom..

Had an issue with the printer printing a faded line along the length of page. After 2 contact attempts the issue was not resolved. I went to the online chat and called in after over an hour on the phone as per the directions of the warranty. Brother does not want to honor their warranty. Spoke to a 3rd person had be go through the same BS. The issue is the heating element is not working properly. They kept telling me it was the programs I was using. What a bunch of BS. DO NOT PURCHASE A BROTHER PRINTER THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES AND PUT YOU THROUGH HELL!!!

Never buy a brother printer

Had a Brother DCP-J140W printer. I only use the black color. Suddenly the other colors are gone/not working, so only option is to buy 3 other color cartridges, This is just to force the customer tu buy something they don't need!

And the paper often jams, by the way.

Never buy a Brother product.
