Also, big parcel(dimension more than 80cm) drop off points near my area, they dont accept next day delivery package.It has becomes a challenge as i am not always around for pick up.
The agent failed to realise all the difficulties and turn down my request over and iver again. These shoppee agents dont know their job...
Overall poor experience
yappypets sells worm-infested pet foods, many customers have kena and tried to raise a complaint, but not only did the sm team of yappypets and infamous sherylwoo continuously cyberbullied the customer, yp also blocked any chance of customer from reaching out. When it comes to badly behaved sellers, Shopee msilences any truthful reviews, and disallow any chance of refunds. The food not only caused detrimental suffering to pet, but caused great sadness to the family. Bottom line Shopee is no longer a customer-centric place, they’d rather protect abusive personalities than see to safety of their customers and accountability of their sellers/logistics partners. Whether it is yappypets or Shopee, deal at your own risk!

Shopee is always giving the STANDARD SOP TEMPLATE reply, said we will get in touch with relevant team, what escalate to relevant team within 24-48hrs. everyday is the same reply.

I am a customer and seller on shopee.
1st as a seller i will says shopee has high commission charges compare to other platforms. 2nd their shipping charges are not consistent. For the same item same qty. I am charged 2.03 at time and 4.30 at time.. very little profit from selling in shopee.sg , so i will need to increase the selling price for item i sell in shopee.sg.
As a customer, shopee is convenient but when there is refund or return of product, it a pain.
I bought $150 of shopee.sg vouchers from shopback . When i received defective product bought using these vouchers, shopee do not refund me the voucher value. Only refunded the cash value. I realise it when i am refunded 0.99$ for an 1
$11 item so i reach out to customer service. They were helpful to help. But i have to chase after them every few days to remind them to return me my vouchers...this is wasting so much time.
I dont understand how a big ecomm company has such lousy system.

Worse online shopping platform i ever come across! promise of next day delivery was a lie to tempt you into shopping in Shopee. Waited 3 days after purchase and still did not receive it. Will never shop at Shopee again! Once bitten twice shy.

Shopee customer service is useless. Lack efficiency and professionalism. Only know how to give standard replies and keep tell you will help monitor and please wait 24-48 hours. Really useless service. Mostly only talk only to say monitor but no action . If I can rate I give -0
Horrible Shopee Experience
This seller took a long time to ship my item, contacted them and they said it is fulfilled by shopee warehouse. Shopee confirmed it was false. Seller had lied to me. I said I would be launching a report and seller threatened to report me for "false accusations". Told shopee about this, did absolutely nothing at all. Could not even accede to my compensation request. How disappointing.

bought many things from shopee before, but this experience just changed everything and will only be ordering from lazada / taobao only. ordered something that was supposed to be in stock, the same night seller said they were adjusting product inventory and preparation time in backend and item had not been successfully updated so needed to cancel order then reorder again. when i visited the product page again it said a preorder set to arrive within 7-9 days and thought nothing about it so i reordered. it has been 5 days and all the seller can tell me is that it is still being transported. i tried asking the seller to cancel the order since it is taking so long but the request got rejected. talked to customer service but they said go and talk to the seller regarding the rejection and cancellation, like i havent already done that? and that i can also raise the refund/return once the product arrives (ordered on 2nd sept, supposed to be delivered on 16-17 sept for a local delivery?? i know it might come earlier than that as it usually does, but still?) i see the product listing again and there is no more preorder sign?? all im asking for is a cancellation of the order so i can go and find other things, but now i have to wait for the item to come when the item hasnt even been packed yet? i know i should have just ordered from another seller like this and shouldnt have blindly trusted sellers according to the ratings, but how can something local be allowed to take 2 weeks to come? how can you allow sellers to just suka suka put a 2 week delivery fee while my money is being held up on a supposed local delivery? if it was a custom product, fine ill accept it, but this isnt even a custom product and is probably being shipped over from some overseas country which i could also do. the only reason i bought from this seller was because it was supposed to be a local delivery. now even agents cant help with the cancellation? this is getting outrageous.

Customer service team was polite with the help of auto reply function. But problem not resolve.I have chat with number 1, 2 and 3 agents but still not resolved. Item not delivered and was only inform at 9.36pm. Instruction was to call but nope..never call. Text was read but never reply. Deliver service was not good. I requested for cancel and refund. Next day another delivery guy came, 3rd day another guy came. They were creating disturbance to my ex colleague as they kept coming. Not sure if they could understand what i have said but they dont reply?! Even face to face, hardly talk. Mostly eye contact. Important thing is they can whatsapp and call, why didnt they reply me on the delivery date? said my office closed etc. I text them that after 10pm, they can dont come. Meaning i will wait till 10pm. Shopee indicate to update the refund status by 30th. Date past, no update. Felt they were trying their luck by deliverying again and again. They just refused to return the item to warehouse. Return item via pick up. Delivery guy morning already update as collection not successful to rearrange another pick up date. When i went home, item still there. Yup, untouch. I dont think i will shop from shopee unless i really cant find in other platform.
Shopee condone bad sellers
Seller promised to deliver but cancelled. Seller promised to deliver again but cancelled again. Wasted our annual leaves and get played out! After feedback to Shopee, seller came back with more vulgarities and threats
Useless customer care service
Useless customer care service. Keep asking you to wait and requesting you to send this and that when right in the beginning she (Cathleen) knows the answer and she knows she is not able to solve the issue. Only good in using standard templates. Worst is wasting people’s time.
Shopee BLOCKS reviews on FB page
Shopee, blocking and hiding customer messages on your page doesn’t make the issue disappear — it only highlights your guilt and lack of accountability.
Your own delivery team has clearly failed to train their couriers to read basic delivery instructions — both on the shipping label and the permanent note on my gate stating clearly to leave the parcel in the riser. Instead, your delivery personnel ignore all instructions, drop the item on the floor, take a photo, and leave.
If you truly stood by your decisions and service, you wouldn’t need to silence frustrated customers — you'd fix the root of the problem.
Refund/Replacement Process - Worst Customer Service Experience
Just started to using Shopee only 1-2 months ago. No issues with cheap purchases through the site though.
Customer support is absolutely nightmare beyond imagination. I purchased a product from a seller (2nd hand) outside Shopee. Product had issues & I contact the manufacturer. Manufacturer agreed to replace but only through Shopee as they are tied up.
I raised the case on 16th July & have discussed (spoken for hours) with ~7-8 agents to collect product from my address and do refund/replace to me & not the original Order ID. Created 4-5 enquiry tickets and tickets will surprisingly auto close within few days even though no closure from customer (myself). Shopee team always mention that escalation is done and looking for relevant team & request me to wait 48 hours (16th July until 5th Aug). Still issue not resolved.
After so much pain, I managed to get Shopee to take back faulty product from my address on 22nd July. Until now, since I failed to convince Shopee to refund/replace, I got exhausted and requested them to at-least return the faulty product to my address. There are more tickets created where it was mentioned as "escalation in progress, warehouse follow up, process of identifying relevant service team". Typical copy paste with slightly different words. Still awaiting to from Shopee to at-least return the faulty product...
Not sure in the long run, will I consider doing transactions in Shopee. Rules/Processes are not hard/fast and shall be adjusted for legitimate cases like in my situation. I have no means to get the 2nd hand seller to assist with in the refund/recovery process. on the other hand, Shopee stick to rules/process. As a customer, I am caught in between.
Last but not the least, product is around $35 worth and not few hundred/thousand.
Hope this situation doesn't happen to another customer.
Unreliable self-serving money-grabbing company
1. Does not vet sellers. Sellers can be any regular Tom, Di*k or Harry pretending to be a legit company. Literally an aunty could be selling you fake health products.
2. Poor ass customer service. All template replies with general answers to any question you pose. When it gets too difficult to respond, expect to be forwarded to the "relevant team" which will just give you a generic reply that explains nothing at all and does not solve your problem.
3. Shopee starts to give different vouchers to different users. Some vouchers are also not available for some users. Shopee, if you're so poor, then don't pretend to have promotions.
4. Shopee started to soft ban accounts they think belong to the same person just because the shipping address is the same. Wow, means a family of 4 cannot have 4 accounts because it violates shopee terms and conditions.
5. Gold or silver tiered members are treated just as badly as normal members. Just another scam by this company.
All 6 Shopee Accounts Suspended.
I've created 6 Shopee accounts for a better discount (shopee coins or discount vouchers) and have been buying since the Covid period.
I have been buying products (more than 150 items since), using their given discount vouchers at intervals without any issue.
I've bought a 2x $25 discounted voucher valued by paying with $40 and have utilised 1x voucher.
Recently, ALL my accounts have been suspended with Shopee, stating that I've infringed their policies!
Shopee will not tell you the reasons for their doing and that's it. All my coins and vouchers (including my balance $25 voucher) are gone.
Can anyone share with me if you have encountered such issue?
SHOPEE is a FRAUD
When there is any fraud transaction it's your own risk. Shopee does not take care of this. They will tell you they investigate but ban your account so that u can't do anything. Then come back to u that digital item is delivered so they can't refund. Mind u it's not just refund it's a scam . There is no protection for buyer at all ! And their security sucks that fraud transaction is so common. AVOID creating an account on SHOPEE avoid this scammer
