never buying from shopee again unless absolutely necessary
bought many things from shopee before, but this experience just changed everything and will only be ordering from lazada / taobao only. ordered something that was supposed to be in stock, the same night seller said they were adjusting product inventory and preparation time in backend and item had not been successfully updated so needed to cancel order then reorder again. when i visited the product page again it said a preorder set to arrive within 7-9 days and thought nothing about it so i reordered. it has been 5 days and all the seller can tell me is that it is still being transported. i tried asking the seller to cancel the order since it is taking so long but the request got rejected. talked to customer service but they said go and talk to the seller regarding the rejection and cancellation, like i havent already done that? and that i can also raise the refund/return once the product arrives (ordered on 2nd sept, supposed to be delivered on 16-17 sept for a local delivery?? i know it might come earlier than that as it usually does, but still?) i see the product listing again and there is no more preorder sign?? all im asking for is a cancellation of the order so i can go and find other things, but now i have to wait for the item to come when the item hasnt even been packed yet? i know i should have just ordered from another seller like this and shouldnt have blindly trusted sellers according to the ratings, but how can something local be allowed to take 2 weeks to come? how can you allow sellers to just suka suka put a 2 week delivery fee while my money is being held up on a supposed local delivery? if it was a custom product, fine ill accept it, but this isnt even a custom product and is probably being shipped over from some overseas country which i could also do. the only reason i bought from this seller was because it was supposed to be a local delivery. now even agents cant help with the cancellation? this is getting outrageous.
