Everything good, but
Everything was great, but I don’t see a reason to use Spanish UPS, because so far it’s one of the worst companies in their sphere with one of the worst services and god bless this time everything was fine with packages. I’ll recommend Send My Bag to change them to someone else, because until the end I was actually kind of scared.
But except this everything is great

Safest way to get luggage around
I've been using SendMyBag since 2018. I think that after 2021 the temporary fuel surcharge has always been there. But it is still cheaper than competitors In Europe and it uses DHL or UPS and that open a lot of possibilities (e.g. Changing date of delivery).

Courier failed to collect
I arranged and paid for a pick-up from an address in France to go to the UK.
I bought a special case in line with their online recommendations and downloaded, printed and fixed all the labels, with extra copies for the driver as advised.
I was staying in an airbnb on the 8th floor of a block of flats. I discovered that the entryphone didn't work so asked if the driver could call me when he got there. Apparently drivers aren't issued with mobile phones so they were unable to agree to this. The window for collection was from 09.00 am til 18.00pm, so there was no alternative but for me to have to wait down in the entry hall for the collection. In view of this Sendmybag kindly said they would try to limit the slot to 09.00 - 13.00.
However, I waited in the lobby in the cold with my bag from 09.00 untill 18.45pm and no collector came all day. I several times contacted the "livechat" resource and was assured that the driver was on his way. When I contacted them again at 18.45 I was told that no collection was now possible - all the drivers had returned to the depot. I wondered whether anyone was going to bother to let me know? I was offered a rescheduling or a cancellation and refund. I chose the latter as I was flying the next day. This failure caused me enormous discomfort and stress plus the cost of having to check it in last minute as an extra bag on the flight the next day. I will never consider using this so-called "service" again and I most emphatically do not recommend it.
