It’s a scam

It’s a scam! I purchased the No-yelling course and immediately cancelled the monthly subscription. However they still charged me a month later for the subscription. The amount I was charged doesn’t even come close to what they are advertising and when I emailed them about it they refused to refund the money citing some bogus refund policy. They weren’t even authorized to charge me since I had already cancelled. In addition the No-Yelling course is a waste of time. It’s generic information and common sense. Ridiculous!

Judgemental bunch of bigots

I enquired about this programme. Cue the over zealous emails for not signing up straight away. The emails were essentially stating I wanted to continue operating in a dysfunctional family, I had explosive reactions to my children, my children were practicing self-protection from their parent. What a load of nonsense. They don't know me or my family other than through a loaded questionnaire where the answers were prescriptive. Now using guilt techniques to promote their product. Based on these tactics and the terrible reviews on here, I wouldn't buy their product in a million years. Obviously more interested in selling then helping people.

Parenting Leader is a FRAUD!

This company is a complete FRAUD! DO NOT use them! My son has ADHD, so I am always interested in learning new techniques to help him manage. Parenting Leader advertised a 28-day challenge, that suggested they would have activities to implement and track the child's progress. So I signed up for the 28-day challenge (since it was only $10). When I signed up, I checked and double-checked to see if this would sign me up for an annual subscription. There was absolutely nothing stated about being renewed into any kind of subscription. Many other companies inform you that you must either cancel before the end of your trial period, or you will be automatically signed up for a monthly/annual subscription. The Parenting Leader website didn't say anything like that. So I thought I was safe signing up for the 28-day challenge.

Once I got into the app for the challenge, I was immediately disappointed. There were no activities or anything real to try implementing. It had daily lessons, which didn't say anything about ADHD that I didn't already know. You can find more detailed, helpful information about ADHD for FREE just by doing a simple Google search! Needless to say, I didn't finish the lessons in the 28-day challenge, since they were useless. I wasn't that upset, since I thought I had only wasted $10.

However at the end of the 28 days (which was 2 days ago), I was charged $63, which I'm assuming is the cost for a monthly subscription. I was not given any notice that I would be charged this, nor did I receive a receipt or any acknowledgement that I had been charged. Honest companies send you a reminder that your trial period is ending and that you need to cancel or you will be charged. Honest companies also send you an emailed receipt of your purchase/charge. Parenting Leader did NONE of these things! The only way I even knew about the charge was because I was checking my bank account for something else, and I saw the $63 charge from Parenting Leader.

I searched and searched for an effective way to contact Parenting Leader, but all they offer is an generic email address. There is no phone number (I've searched the internet and still can't find one) for them. So when I contacted Parenting Leader through their email, they send me an immediate email response saying that my subscription was cancelled that I wouldn't incur any further charges. As for a refund of my money, they said that I had to show proof that I had completed at least 7 consecutive days of lessons. They offered a 1 time exception and said I could get a 50% refund. However, when I emailed them further about this situation, they stopped emailing me, and I haven't received even the 50% refund that they offered.

This company preys on parents who just want to do as much as possible to help their child be successful. Then they offer nothing that actually helps or educates, and they steal your money. Parenting Leader is a complete SCAM and FRAUD! Do not use them!

I took the challenge at the beginning of this year and then cancelled after the 28 days. Out of the blue I got charged USD59.99 in September without ever getting a new subscription. After contacting them I was told it has been an error in their system and that I will be refunded the whole amount. Which happened but they canceled the refund on paypal straight away. SCAM.

SCAM.

I signed up for the 28 day challenge, only paid $10-$14 if I remember correctly. Now all the sudden a couple of months later I have a charge for $42?!!!?? Tried logging into my account today and what do you know, my account doesn’t even exist. I sent an email a month ago after an attempted withdraw from my bank account to cancel my “subscription” that I never signed up for and now a month later they took my money illegally with no existing subscription. How can they do that? And no customer service to speak to? That’s convenient! Just keep sending emails and pray that someone does the right thing? All I know if that if I don’t get a response to my second attempt to remove my account and NOW get a REFUND then I will be taking this to my lawyer. Heck maybe even start a class action because from what I see in these reviews, plenty of parents trying to be GREAT parents have been scammed!

Never signing up!

I was going to sign up for this right after I got paid but the email that I got from them has made me definitely decide to not only never sign up with them I will also be telling my friends who are parents not to sign up. The email is very rude and just disrespectful. If I could attach a picture of it I would. The way that they basically call you a horrible parent for not signing up and it just get worse as you continue to read it. This being part of what they sent “I'm disappointed, but not surprised.
Experience has taught me that only 3% of parents who see the program actually invest in transformation.
97% choose to stay stuck.
They choose familiar dysfunction over unfamiliar growth. Known patterns over unknown possibilities. Comfortable chaos over the work of healing.
You're part of the 97%.
This is my final message about the transformation you chose not to pursue.” Disgusting behavior from a parenting app. I don’t understand how they think this will help someone. You tear down parents for what?! To gain business?
