Went out of their way to be helpful and make sure I got the best value

Although I approached online as they were the most competitive I found they had several UK branches and this meant I could get Human advice 🤣. I spoke to Macy at Bristol branch who went out of his way to help and give the best advice. My plumber was very impressed and delivery will be in two working days.

Received a radiator, multiple damage.
Emails sent to see what could be done plus photos.
No reply from them.
Won't use in the future.

Cancelling an order because it went out…

Cancelling an order because it went out of stock.

I purchased Google Nest Hub Max for £115.80 and the original was £106.80 BUT they wanted a £7.50 delivery charge which was already greedy.

After two days I received an voice mail from this company and they have mentioned the item was sold and they needed to cancel the order which was annoying where other people received their orders.

Checking on their website they have significantly increased the price which is very greedy and they could have said we could hold your order until the next restock but they didn't. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Firstly, There is a cost to us for delivery service which is why we charge customers for delivery.

We ran a promotional rate on this stock and the uptake was far beyond what was expected so the stock we held was subsequently cleared very quickly. This promotion has now ended. I will make sure someone makes contact direct to see if there is anything we can do.

Overall we are currently working on some big system upgrades which will come in to play this year so our customers will be able to see exactly how much stock we hold at the time of order. We hold alot of stock across alot of product lines but having our stock availability plugged in to our website will really help manage these instances where something goes out of stock very quickly.

Refused my order and processed refund…

Refused my order and processed refund due to my location. No communication asking for alternative delivery address. When I asked why and offered an alternative address they simply weren't interested in winning my order regardless of delivery address. POOR attitude and customer service. REFUSED to give me a manager to speak to and don't have a phone number. I very much think I've dodged a bullet with this company.

Thank you for leaving the review, I understand one of our Directors has subsequently been in touch but understandably we were too late to put it right on this occasion.

There was an issue with the Island location in our system in that the postcode should not have been available for our standard and the initial offering should not have been included, which we have now rectified. We are currently working on setting up our supply chain so we can offer Delivery to all of the Islands around the UK without the issues you have experienced.

On the point of poor attitude, simply we completely agree and acknowledge this is not how these incidents should be dealt with, in fact we had an opportunity to turn things around after an initial issue which we simply did not take on this occasion. If you do decide to give us another try in the future it would be much appreciated as I don't believe you have "dodged a bullet" however completely understand we have let you down on this occasion.

I hope you have now sorted your order even if it is elsewhere and please drop us a note on here if we can help you further.

Didn't place order based upon no response to query ..yet they repeatedly send me reminders (several in as many days) to complete order.......seriously stop relying on cookies and provide good old human customer service.....sorry ordered elsewhere.......and please don't ask me to remove my order not my issue I've got a boiler now and was delivered perfectly , brilliant customer service by JT Atkinson & Sons.

Exceptional service

Exceptional, friendly service from the team at Park Royal. Danny went above and beyond by taking a product home with him so I could pick it up from his home nearby in time for an electrician visit the next day. Makes such a difference to deal with people who genuinely care about what they do and how they make their customers feel.

So, you have confirmed that 2 messages were sent and that I have no account with you (because you want to remove my feedback) but you have supposedly removed my account (because you say that I will need to re-register). Does it not meant that you HAVE created some sort of record on my (collected data) and I did not place any orders (as I said), and that you did send some messages (2 that you have confirmed)?
Did I lie about my experience with Mr Central Heating or is it simply a way to doctor your feedback?

Hello DL, I am sorry you have had this experience, however, this is not the case. Mr Central Heating does not send emails without the customer registering for the newsletter. The email address is only taken if you register on the site and tick the newsletter sign up. I would remove you from our DB but as the review is anonymous, I cannot identify the account. I have sent a request for your details via TP to you and will close your account for you. Alternatively, all our registered customers also have the option when logged in to Anonymise the data in their account. Also, emails sent to customers have the unsubscribe link in every email. Unsubscribing to our Newsletters will mean not getting important price-saving emails and the lowest price offers on Boilers and radiators from Mr Central Heating. **Thank you for providing your email I can confirm we only sent 2 emails, and they were basket reminders as you left goods in the basket. I have deleted your email address from our system, so you would need to re-register if needed.

Delivery is a shambles

Update: things arrived as expected. Having spoken with other who've used then, they've had no issues. I'll chalk my experience to bad luck.

I ordered radiators and valves, they gave me a delivery date, on that day they called to say the driver was sick and they would not be delivered. I rearranged for the following Monday, I called at 4pm to be told they were not on the van and they'd be out Tuesday instead. I've just had a call to say the drivers had an accident (I hope they are ok) and they would not be delivered until tomorrow. I'm less confident in receiving the order by the day and it's just as well I ordered them weeks before I am getting them fitted.

The staff and contact have been great, but they need to sort out their delivery.

I'm not a tradesmen but if I was then this would surely impact my reputation.

Be warned.

Zero stars

Zero stars. Sent faulty radiator which was damaged. Refused to exchange or repair. DO NOT USE.
Customer service is non existence.
Very unprofessional. As a developer I will not use this company again.

you cannot return the order you…

you cannot return the order you received because you opened it. You pay a lot of money and it's not even worth it. The device does not work and they tell you that you cannot return it and that you must call others. A very bad and unqualified company.

Above and beyond

Phoned up with a question, they got back to me promptly and helped all they could, when I went into the branch in Portsmouth the lady there couldn't do enough for me. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend them. Big thanks.

Very very unhappy

Very very unhappy. Ordered and paid for a radiator, was told my delivery date Monday 16/10/23, but was informed the radiator was damaged and another would be sourced for a delivery Friday 20/10/23, not a problem and I’ve taken annual leave to accept the delivery. Now I’ve been told they’ve tried to contact myself ( no missed calls or emails) telling me now it’s going to be the 23/10/23!! But I’m not wasting all my Annual leave to be off waiting for something that might turn up!! Not really good enough. I bought the radiator in good faith and even accepted the first change of delivery date, I’m not being unreasonable? Still no reply with any answers!!
Up to now not very pleased with this service and don’t think I would recommend it to any one else so be aware of using and spending with this company. Their customer service and delivery isn’t up to much. Update to the order.. got told originally that a signature was required or the order would not be made, has they still cant guarantee any delivery especially when I need to be in, they’ve told me they can drop of the 1800x600 double panel radiator with a neighbour or leave it where I chose without a signature. I’ve cancelled the order and now trying to get proof of my total refund
People don’t need this hassle especially when purchases are made in good faith
Don’t think I would ever use this company again and would strongly advise thinking about using them

Perfect ordered large heavy 2.4m…

Perfect ordered large heavy 2.4m radiator and it was delivered at 730am next day. I took a star off cos only one delivery driver came and thankfully I was fit and strong enough to help him.
Would recommend.

Excellent company

Excellent company! Great website, reasonably priced products. Ordered yesterday morning and got a full delivery the very next morning (outstanding service) I think the previous reviews are a little unjust as there was a boiler shortage at that time early 2023 and not really the fault of the company involved as it was a supply chain issue. Friendly delivery driver. Will definitely be using this company again

Disappointed 😞

Please stop sending emails?
Saying now free delivery.
It is not free even though i was going to spend £1700 pounds on a boiler and boiler products!
At least that's what I got told at your croydon branch.
I needed to pay £15 pounds
because the product wasn't in store for me to collect the same day!!
My choices were coming other day collected ore pay £15 delivery.
I chose to walk away.

Ordered boiler 10 days ago with…

Ordered boiler 10 days ago with delivery for next day . Why take an order ifnot in stock. Then after a week calling me cant deliver next day as my job is already booked for day after . My customer is not going to be happy. To cancel the order they have to refund and I buy a cheaper version which they have in stock. They cant do adjustment and still cant promise me for next day. I have to go online and book rebook for the price i was told . But the price is 27.00 more online.
Then they ring me I can do over the phone .
No compensation for the inconvinience . said we have refunded and thankyou very much . Was good in the past I think too much business no customer service .
