Following up on my previous message, I have tested Klangio again. This time, I used a piece of music generated by artificial intelligence for the tests. I have to say that the first notes I could see (since I don't have the Pro version) were correct, which was a pleasant surprise. The only issue I noticed, and one could only see a little, was that in the submitted piece, the parts were played by an alto saxophone, but Klangio transposed them into a soprano saxophone part.
I am refraining from further publications regarding a review because no one is paying me to test the product!

It is impossible to get a refund when they do a bad transcription. I was using Piano to Notes, and I have to come here and post this before they'll even respond. Edit:
And once again they responded here. If they would fix their system and actually have an option to cancel a bad transcription like it says you can do on their website this wouldn't be a problem. The method they say to go through and it will show you an option to cancel a transcription you just did does not exist! This has been going on ever since I have been using the app for a couple of years and they have never fixed it. Simply fix your website so for for a few hours after a bad transcription you can get a refund the problem would be solved!!!

Paid for a one-off transcription of the clarinet part in a new orleans jazz band number. The transcription left out many bars where the clarinet played; it included notes out of the clarinet range; the transcription was in the concert pitch rather than the clarinet part (ie. Bb instrument). I later bought a transcription of the same piece on another site which was far more accurate.

Free version of app is useless. It doesn't work at all. You cannot search for anything. The page is completely unresponsive. I have not been so frustrated with a website in months.

Was very skeptical when I heard about it at first, but i tried it with a couple of songs and got the hang of what works and what doesn't quickly. Think it's worth a try (the free version at least). Also tried some other apps and this one seems the most advanced to me. Definitely safes huge amounts of work.

I've been using the app for a few months now and am pleasantly surprised at how quickly the notes are generated. I like to compose short pieces of my own and it would take me a lot of time to write them in sheet music myself and I'm not that good at it. I also had to deal with the customer service a few times, once they took longer to answer, but that's relatively normal. When I got an answer, you could tell that they were very keen to help and super friendly and in the end my little problem was solved. I think I'll try another of their apps for a different instrument.

I signed up for the demo and am considering paying one year upfront. It is a complicated program so I was expecting mistakes. The first two songs were only partly correct but for everything the program was doing or trying to do was a massive undertaking. I think it will be a very successful program as they work out the bugs. I am going to roll with it because I don't see anything else on the market that even comes close to what this is doing or trying to do.

A joke, uploaded 2 melodies , it didnt even attempt them . Try to find a human . Very hard though.
I can do it but it takes too long.

The program does a poor job of transcribing the bass guitar. Very disappointed.

I purchased Klangio in hopes to transcribe some music that I wanted to play for my Bass (Guitar), my cello and my violin. The initial sample seemed pretty good so I paid for a month and started transcribing.
When it came to look at the violin scores I had transcribed, I was beyond disappointed. Anyone who has ever played knows that the lowest note on a violin is G3, unless you have a 5 string, then it is C3.
Klangio transcribed the music almost a full two octaves below G3 and well below C3. When I looked at some of the Bass transcriptions, I realized that they were so far off from what the actual bass line was that it would have been laughable if I hadn't been so pissed off.
That Klangio charges $15 per month for this service is nothing short of highway robbery. The service should not even be out of Beta test. The AI is so bad, a cat sleeping on the keyboard could probably do a better job.
Fortunately, I discovered that my membership to Songsterr allows me to transcribe up to 99 songs a month. While it's not perfect, it's a hell of a lot better than this garbage.
They claim a 14 day money back guarantee. Let's see if they hold to that promise.

guys, and gals, gotta tell ya, i don't usually post on forums but this group got their shit together! never had a moment's issue with my purchase, they really made life easy for me.

This app overpromised. I was not a ble to get an accurate transcription and fixing a transcription full of mistakes is probably harder than starting from scratch.

Well the pricing on the membership really opens the door towards being productive. I felt very liberated without any concern about how many tickets I was using. And it helped me make a personal commitment to use the service regularly and with focus. The hints and tips provided are definitely helpful. I found some creative ways to add a click track to some of my recordings and it really helped me synchronize the resulting transcriptions whether I was trying to extract drums, piano, vocals, or bass guitar. The ability to transpose via the note editor helps me prepare prior to importing to my DAW or to MuseScore. Even if the AI is not able to find notes that apply to the specific instrument that you are pursuing, you can count on Klangio to create a "lead sheet" showing which chords are in effect during which measures. And that is very profitable and time saving with respect to productivity. I feel great about the value that I receive and I hope to keep subscribing for years to come. I'm very pleased that the service never presents any bottleneck with regard to the format of the recording that I upload. I've had great experiences with wav, mp3, and even M4a files. And this really keeps this "tool" in the background so that I can focus on the next steps for my project.

This is amazing software. I have been trying to learn some guitar leads and have been isolating those parts with Moises (another great app). I found guitar2tabs application on Klangio and wow, what a great use of Ai! I had a little difficulty getting it to actually produce an accurate tab of the lead - good isolation of the track seems key - but once I got it to work, it produced an accurate tab that I could learn bar by bar. It produced the guitar tab AND the notes for music readers. I also play bass, and tried a song using a separated track as well - perfecto. I bought a year subscription based on my experience (reasonably priced). I also had to get in touch with technical support. They were great to interact with. Big time difference between us on the US west coast and Germany, but they responded within a day or so. They were very upbeat and helpful. Looking forward to using their software to learn lots more songs!!

I did the trial for this program, and it's HORRIBLE! Can't even get a basic time signature correct! I wouldn't pay for this program at all!

I keep responding directly to julia via the email provided, but no response...not even an acknowledgement of receipt.
She offered to have Klangio correct the piece I need transposed. I sent her the PDF. No reply.
The only way I hear back is via Trustpilot!
It would be better if she simply said the software can't transpose the organ part. I'm hanging. And complaining. I have no choice. This is important and Klangio has failed a simple and straightforward task. C'mon!
