Attempted on multiple times to get…

Attempted on multiple times to get information on my pension (defined benefits) scheme and despite speaking to multiple agents who were very nice were unable to help, it seems that the DB scheme is managed by a different group who don't answer their phones. I was given their direct number which has an answer machine which says "due to circumstances beyond our control, etc we cant answer your call!".
Really disappointed as paying into system for years and cant get an update when needed

fobbing me off with excuses

I am extremely disappointed in this company's management team. I am trying to renew my policy - I actually have no issue with the product - and there is an issue with the credit card. It is a lot of money as I am paying the full year premium for two people in one go. My bank has no issue. For some reason the transaction wont go through from ILH side. My bank has given me a merchants-only hotline for ILH to phone to resolve the issue. But they wont. They say it would be a data protection issue. What nonsense. My bank would phone me while they were on the line to confirm the instruction. If it was a restaurant and my card was declined, do you think THEY would have an issue making that call?? ILH keeps re-iterating that I must phone the bank. What part of "I have ALREADY phoned my bank and they want YOU to phone them" do they not understand. I really wish one of these nameless managers would contact me. Clearly ILH does not need the business. I had heard about this "can't be arsed" attitude, but it is the first time I have experienced it. Th agents are lovely, but not in a position to help because "the boss" wont allow it. Sigh ...

Frauds

Paying more than 600 € every year as a student and can't even claim for prescriptions. They are just frauds.

Avoid these thieves at all costs

I had a policy with Irish life for a few years through my job. When i left that job, i had a one month gap before staring a new job (and therefore a new insurance policy). I spoke to their cistomer service team who assured me that i could extend my cover by just one month and cancel afterwards. (They were unable to automically cancel at a set date for some bizarre reason). Today i called to cancel the policy and they are insisting i pay €300 in order the cancel the policy.

Incompetent, a danger unprofessional

I have been a member for 2 years.
* There online physio would never turn up.
* There online doctor prescribed an ointment that was banned in Ireland and in the EU.
* They keep losing my documents and are dragging out paying me. They say they have emailed my doctor but they havent...it is a joke
Never never sign up to them

Refuse to give information on their plans but insist of conducting a "Health Review"

They refuse to give information on their plans but insist of conducting a "Health Review". Infuriating company to deal with when trying to get similar plan details to other providers to switch provider. Wont give you equivalent or similar plan names to your existing plan with other providers allowing you to compare cover. Avoid ILH, scam artists. I also had huge difficultly in them paying legitimate claims in the past. Their 1st response is to reject all claims.

FIND A WAY NOT TO PAY CLAIMS

I cannot even explain how exhausted I am with their service and how they find ways to decline claims. I would definitely veer people away from using their service. Complete fraud with their advertisement of coverage, even a simple dental cleaning. It's just appalling when a simple claim amount can make all the difference for everyday working people. Just appalling service. Very sneaky with wording!

Inadequate sales and customer service

Rang a number of times to speak to someone re a health insurance quote under my workplace group scheme. Was repeatedly transferred to other agents without being informed so, had to explain numerous times why I was ringing. Some very nice, pleasant agents, others didn't appear to know what they were doing i.e., told me to ring back after 7pm, other told me I needed to contact my own HR dept before transferring me to another agent whom I could not hear. I will take my business elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst website of any…

Absolutely the worst website of any organistion - on three different occasions when I have tried to update details online I get the same internal server error message - Always have to ring and hold to make changes - One agent even told me he had heard it from lots of customers - Clearly nothing has been done. In a world where companies don't have offices for customers to call to you need to sort out your website!!

For Irish Life Health minus 5 stars

For Irish Life Health I would give minus five stars. Worst Insurance company ever. Me and partner are on Kick off plan. First claim we need after 7 months, we didn't get it because we wasn't whole year with them. First shock, but ok. After that we need 65 percent claim of 300 euro, still waiting after 2 months. For test in hospital we didn't got claim. This insurence does not cover anything. Process to apply for claim is to complicated. But for take you money its eazy. By the my experience I could say they are fraudsters. Not recommended. Better save your money on side, for emergency situations.
