Terrible experience. Do not order from them.
I placed two orders with Iluminating. ORDER #1: Ordered some rechargeable lights. Immediately cancelled because I accidentally ordered the wrong color. They charged me anyway but no order was processed. I didn’t realize I’d been charged until I looked at my credit card bill. ORDER #2: Ordered 2 sets of rechargeable lamps. They sent me one set and never sent me the 2nd set. Realized the type I ordered was not the type I wanted. Asked them to reimburse me for the set that was not sent to me and asked for return instructions for the one that WAS sent to me. Instead they tried to convince me to keep the one set. After 4 email correspondences back and forth, they finally gave me return instructions but wound not reimburse me for the product not sent until the received my return product. And the returned item would be charged a restocking fee. I returned the product and waited. After about a week or so, I asked for a status and they asked me for a tracking number. In the midst of all this, they sent me a customer survey on my experience. I finally had to ask my credit card company for assistance because I no longer had any product NOR did I have a refund. Terrible terrible experience. Agree with other reviews calling it a scam!
Everything went wrong
Everything went wrong! I ordered sconces and wanted the manual version. On the website they showed a set of sconces with a button clearly shown on the sconces. I did not want ones that are controlled by a remote (when you or your grandchildren misplace the
remote the lamps are useless). The lamps I received did not not have the button to turn the lights on and off. I contacted customer service online (only option) because they don't have a phone number.
The responses that I have received throughout the return process have not addressed the questions that I have asked. They do not know what is on there website - to them manual is hard wired but all on the products are rechargeable battery powered!
When I asked for an address and return instructions i was given an address in Baton Rouge LA. Weeks later
the package was returned to me for being undeliverable by the USPS. I contacted the company to confirm the address and I was given an address in Phoenix AZ with an apology for the confusion.
I asked for a prepaid label to resend this and they said they could not email a label to reimburse me for the
$14.40 that I paid for the first attempt to return the sconces. I repeatedly asked to speak to a human
representative Olivia of the Customer Service Team
(probably AI) insisted in her emails that all my communications were with with humans - all named Olivia!
Spending money to resend will only feed the SCAM!
Scam website
I would rate this scam store a zero if possible. They took my money and never shipped my order. Completely fraudulent store.
Extremely poor product
Extremely poor product. Very poorly made. The pieces don't properly fit together, multiples items were missing from my shipment, and the wrong instructions were packed with my shipment. The customer service was just as bad. You need to chase consistently for a refund. If they finally do accept it, there is a minimum 20% restocking fee.

I ordered 3 lamps and they are perfect. Delivery was flawless and the lamps are even more beautiful than the photos online. I could not be more pleased with my purchase!!!
Ordered 2 lamps
Ordered 2 lamps. Self adhesive doesn't work and both fell from wall within 2 days . 1 broke and both damaged paint on the walls. Bulbs need to be recharged twice daily (pointless). Customer support is atrocious, days 1-2 days to respond with generic emails. Offered to send me another adhesive sticker!
Edit following response - I already sent images to customer support of the damage on the walls and that is incorrect you did not offer me a replacement, you offered me adhesive and I don't want a replacement as the product is rubbish!!!!

I ordered a plug-in sconce and received…
I ordered a plug-in sconce and received a hard-wire sconce, completely different from what I ordered. After contacting the company, they asked for a video of the item, which I provided immediately. Instead of sending the correct product and a prepaid return label, they issued me a ticket number and then left me waiting for days between each response.
After over three weeks with no resolution or clear communication on how they planned to fix their error, I decided to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Suddenly, I received an email offering a so-called “solution”: I could keep the wrong item and they would send me the correct one at a 30% discount.
Their lack of timely communication, especially when the mistake was theirs is what truly damages their business. I do not recommend ordering from this company if you expect prompt customer service or accountability when errors occur.

This company is a scam
This company is a scam. DO NOT ORDER. I have been waiting for these lamps for four months and they refuse to refund me, even though their website claims they will refund you if it has taken over 30 days. I have had to ask repeatedly for a tracking number and the one they finally gave me doesn’t exist. SCAM.

It took a MONTH to receive my purchase
It took a MONTH to receive my purchase. And when I did, there was NO assembly instruction and the peel and stick was pathetic, it did not cover the entire plate, it looks like they just ripped it off a roll and slapped on 4 tiny pieces. When I ask for a refund, they just blew me off!! STAY AWAY!!

Your item will sit in customs forever! Don't order from here!
Your item will "ship" within days but will sit in customs forever. I have been waiting for almost a month for my items to be delivered. If you inquire the response is a link to the tracking. Do yourself a favor and order from another company!

I was initially sent the wrong product…
I was initially sent the wrong product it took a long time to arrive. However customer service corrected the issue and resent the correct item. The customer service rep was as fast as can be with I imagine the amount of emails they need to address. I have not received the product yet however in terms of customer service my review is overall positive.

Stay Away this company is a sham. Ordered 2 wireless lamps on 6/9/25 no response from them. Their phone number is disconnected. They have $95.00 of my money. I paid through apple pay. Stay away do not order from these scammers.

Never Again
Ordered lamps on 5/22/25. It is 6/8 and have heard NOTHING from them. Phone doesn't work and emails are returned with a generic message. No way to track them, either. Terrible experience.

No working phone, no live customer service
I ordered my lamp on 5/22/25 and still no updates on shipping. Their phone number does not work and just automated responses to emails. My lamp finally arrived on 6-17 and I actually love it. Well made, and looks exactly like pictured on site. However, I will not order from here again because of the long shipping times, no working phone or live customer service.
Great product and company
We purchased 10 gold lamps with a fabric shade approximately two years ago. The quality is fantastic. Not only do they still look like new, the battery charge lasts SO long. I just ordered another 11 lamps for a Derby Party.
The items ship quickly and customer service is great. I emailed them right after I placed the order, to get a ship date. I received the shipping confirmation within hour(s) of placing the order.
Very dependable product and company.
SCAM company
This company is atrocious and probably a scam, sadly. We ordered a lamp that stopped working within a week. We sent several emails and none were answered. We called their "customer" service number and both numbers listed were not valid. Do NOT buy from this company.

Not a happy customer
Took ages to arrive, poor quality so wanted to return, 12 emails later no returns information, they just fob you off repeatedly. Now trying to charge me to return and won’t send returns information. Having to complete a chargeback unfortunately. Apparently according to the review you are very sorry for my experience.. whilst reporting my reply as fake and trying to get it taken down!
