PSA! After reading these reviews I don't understand WHY no one Googles reviews on every company selling products! You just don't go ordering from a company giving them your hard earned money without seeing whether or not they're a legit & reputable company! Reviews tell all! Unfortunate lesson on what not to do next time. Glad I didn't order from these LOW LIFE LOSERS!

To put it simply, the device does not even light after cust SVC said to charge 5 hrs. This device is the exact one I order twice before from two other companies and, this is the third in a row that is defective. Apparently, made by same co. In China.

You mfs better be glad i didn't order from yall because i sue people all the time for scamming... im going to put the FBI on yall for scamming people so they can get their money back and some more...

I was trying to be supportive of a "Black Owned" company..and got SCAMED OUT OF MY MONEY..THINKING it would work.They harassed me for a review BEFORE the product was delivered.I even got an extra refillable order;which I am OUT OF 14.95$..they refused to refund my money; ER THEY CHANGED THEIR REFUND POLICES

A scam! Probably not even black owned actually. I purchased the lip balms. Once I got them, they continue to take money out of my account on a bogus subscription that I never signed up for every month. I’ve sent emails. There is no other way to contact them to get a refund. Do not purchase!!!

I viewed the Glo Melanin advertisement and unfortunately, did not check Trust Pilot prior to ordering

When you order it's an automatic subscription couple that with the very unpleasant the product has, you do not want it.

Do not trust this company. They will charge you for membership that you didn’t sign up for, you will have to fight to have it refunded after numerous non answered emails to them. Also, they charge and don’t send the product, total scam, don’t waste your time or money.

I wish there was a zero star, they take your money when the product is not ready, giving excuses. will not deal with this company any more. very poor customer service. they should be out of business if they cannot provide service to there customers on a timely manner, mind you mailing is not free.

Ordered in November received early January. In march i realized i had been enrolled in a monthly subscription of $14.99 that was masked at the time of order which they charged in January and February. Emailed them for a refund and they never responded. Disputed through PayPal and magically they responded to them with a lie saying that they actually delivered something. They did not! I only ordered from them one time. Wound up disputing g through my bank and submitted all of these complaints as proof and my bank refunded the money. Will NEVER order from them again.

Horrible shipping time, they just create a label and leave the package there! It takes about a month to have your order delivered.

I wish there were 0 stars. I've been waiting on my order for over a month, and customer service has not been helpful! I am asking for a full refund and can't even get a response, much more - my refund. I have wasted $126+ USD dollars, I am pissed!

The very first time I made a purchase from this company Glo Melanin I was put in a membership which I didn’t want cause I was only trying for the first time their product and didn’t know even if I would like it. I immediately sent them an email asking why are they charging me for a membership I don’t want and I want to cancel this right away but they only said to go to their website to cancel membership. So I did this but the website wasn’t working right and my cancellation didn’t go through and they didn’t provide any other way to communicate with them. So in February 14th, they charged my bank $14.99 for a membership monthly service then this is when I again went to their website to cancel this membership and it was so dam difficult to cancel cause they just kept asking, are u sure and ur going to forfeit any discounts, but I continued through the website and finally seen where it said, my membership was cancelled however, they kept my $14.99 and never returned it and I feel I should have gotten my money back because the day they charged my bank is the same day I cancelled the membership so why keep the money. I feel this is a no account shady company with very low level integrity and no one should give any honest business to them period.

Products are ok but trying to cancel the membership is a pain. The “tab” to cancel doesn’t work. I’m just in a vicious loop in my account. Not cool . It shouldn’t be this hard to cancel a membership.

I personally wouldn't buy from them. I believe the owner is actually a white woman. Do your research on them. The owner isn't anywhere to be found on the website. They claim to be "black owned" but I don't believe it. Please if you are considering buying from this "company", do your research first. Buy natural made products from another supplier that actually has its owner listed/known.

THE LAST ORDER THAT I MADE WAS LITERALLY ABOUT A MONTH AGO, & STILL HAVE A FULL BAR OF THEIR SOAP, SO I WOULD NEVER ORDER AGAIN SO QUICKLY. WHEN I EMAILED GLO MELANIN ABOUT THIS, THEY CLAIMED THAT I SIGNED UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP, & THAT THE MEMBERSHIP DATES ALL THE WAY BACK TO APRIL 2024. THAT'S WHEN I KNEW SOMETHING SKETCHY WAS GOING ON. IF MY MEMBERSHIP DATES BACK THAT FAR, SURELY I WOULD HAVE GONE THRU MORE BARS OF THEIR SOAP, & BEEN CHARGED FOR FAR MORE THAN 2 BARS OF SOAP, BEING THAT WE'RE NOW IN DECEMBER 2024. I HAVE ALWAYS MADE IT A PRIORITY TO NEVER SUBSCRIBE TO ANY MEMBERSHIP, AS IT USUALLY ENTAILS A COMPANY TO AUTOMATICALLY HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT ACCOUNT & I'VE NEVER BEEN A FAN OF IT, NOR HAVE I EVER ALLOWED IT, SO WHY WOULD I SUDDENLY START NOW? I LITERALLY JUST HAD TO OPEN A DISPUTE ABOUT MY STOLEN MONEY FROM THEM & REPORT IT TO MY LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT TO OPEN AN INVESTIGATION & HAVE IT FORWARDED TO GLO MELANIN'S CURRENT LOCATION WHERE THEY OPERATE THEIR BUSINESS. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE FOLKS AND RESEARCH THESE HOLE IN THE WALL COMPANIES. I NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH THIS COMPANY UNTIL NOW. I'M NOT SURE IF THEY'RE HARD UP FOR MONEY OR WHAT, BUT THERE'S NOTHING MORE DISAPPOINTING THAN WHEN YOU'VE BUILT UP TRUST WORK A COMPANY AND THEY UP AND SCAM THEIR CUSTOMERS. LUCKILY, I WAS REFUNDED THE MONEY & MY NAME WAS "SUPPOSEDLY" REMOVED FROM THEIR SUBSCRIPTION LIST, BUT I WILL STILL BE GOING FORWARD WITH MY POLICE REPORT & OPEN INVESTIGATION SO THAT GLO MELANIN CAN'T DO THIS TO ANY OTHER CUSTOMER. THIS LITERALLY ALMOST JEOPARDIZED MY ACCOUNT WITH MY FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, AS THEY TAKE CLAIMS LIKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY & WOULD RATHER BLOCK YOUR ACCOUNT THAN TO HAVE FOOLISHNESS LIKE THIS GOING ON WITH THEIR NAME ATTACHED TO WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE THEFT. GLO MELANIN, I TRULY HOPE IT WAS WORTH IT........

2 reasons.
1st. I ordered the product through instagram after seeing all the ads about this amazing product. When my items arrived, I wanted to order a few more things, but suddenly they stopped shipping to NL but advised me they are working on it…I haven’t had an update but…I’m glad anyway because
2) after a couple of months of using the soap and moisturizer until it ran out…I realized I have an area of each side of my cheek and towards my chin that has light blotches.
So it seems that it caused hyperpigmentation rather than ‘brighten and even my skintone’ as advertised.

Did not work for me.
