Review of glomelanin.com
On Yesterday, May 1st, I viewed Glo Melanin's advertisement on Facebook. Unfortunately, I did not check the Trust Pilot reviews prior to deciding to order. Immediately after ordering I came to this site and saw the reviews. I then saw on my email that they were enrolling me without my knowledge into a monthly membership as well! I emailed them immediately yesterday to cancel the membership, and also to cancel the order. I then went on their website and finally found the avenue to cancel the membership on their website. I cancelled it there, copied the verbiage from their website indicating the membership had been cancelled, and emailed them the proof just in case. They did not respond to my request to cancel the order immediately, but did respond to the membership cancellation. At 2:27, same day, I received an email indicating that they refused to cancel my order as it was "too late"! If they were able to cancel the membership I never signed up for, they were able to cancel the order, but they refused!
"Hi Frances,
Thank you for reaching out, and I’m truly sorry for any confusion or frustration caused.
At this time, your orders have already been fulfilled, so we’re unable to cancel them. However, no worries — once your package arrives, you are absolutely welcome to return it within 30 days for a full refund in line with our policy.
As for your membership, I’ve gone ahead and canceled it to ensure there are no future charges.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help with the return process or anything else — I’m here to support you.
Stay Radiant,
Janina from Glo Melanin"
The problem with this, is that now I have to deal with returning the product and paying twice for shipping and handling, then contacting them again for a refund, which I am told will be difficult as well. They don't provide a telephone number for immediacy, and that is intentional. Stay away from this company!
Review of Wyze
I purchased a bundled deal for my daughter ($99 total) in October, 2024, and had it sent to her home address. She never received it. I called to ask about the delivery and was told it had been delivered when it had not. They emailed me a link and when I entered the information for a refund I was told it was too late to get a refund as I had waited too late to request it. I paid an additional fee for this service yet they are refusing to honor it. This is my third time contacting Wyze, and they are still giving me the runaround for returning my $99 or providing the product bundle I paid for. Again they said they would email me, and this time I asked for a living, breathing person, and still they give me the runaround. I have cancelled both my subscriptions to Wyze for our cameras, this company is no better than the rip-off artists who habitually call to scam you out of your money. A legitimate company honors its customer's claims, Wyze is not that. Find a camera from somewhere else.

Review of Hertz
About a month ago, I made an online reservation through Expedia for a Hertz car rental at Hobby Airport, Houston. We went in to pick up the car at our appointment time, 10:30 am, and when we arrived, there was a line out the door. There were people everywhere sitting down, and my heart sank. Sure enough, no cars! People who had just arrived with their luggage from wherever, and everybody else, no cars even with a previous reservation. We made our reservation through Expedia, and the rep at Hertz said because we were using a different card to pay, they couldn't find our reservation (even though we were not due to pay until we arrived). We had to call Expedia to cancel the reservation for us and to make sure Hertz did not charge us the $30 no-show fee, even though they had no cars. Expedia stepped up to the plate and made another reservation for us at a different location. When we arrived there, the rep said she didn't see it, but went ahead and made a reservation, saying they didn't have any cars and wouldn't until much later in the day.
When we came back to pick up the car, the rep said we would have to pay an extra $13.50 per day for my husband to be added on as an additional driver. We sat down in the Hertz office and made an online reservation at Enterprise--guess what? No additional charge for your spouse to drive!!! Hertz doesn't need my business of course, but they probably want yours. Go ahead. It's a good thing we rented the car a day ahead of when we needed it, otherwise, we would have been truly screwed.
Review of Mortgage Educators and Compliance
I enjoyed class today, learned a lot in the updates to laws which I did not previously know. The instructor was engaging as well.
