We want to thank Sandra Simmonds at Gibbs & Dandy the St Neots branch. When chosing our bathroom fixtures and fittings we did not know would work or look good in the size restriction in the bathroom. Sandra spent time helping us go through different options that would work and look good. She was so patient, professional and very friendly. Everything was ordered at the right time, no delays and our bathroom looks wonderful.

A fantastic range of high quality products at very reasonable prices. However, the best thing about this company (particularly Zach at the Leicester branch) is the amazing level of service. I'd never go anywhere else!

I purchased my kitchen from Gibbs and Dandy Luton. It has been a stressful experience from the moment I placed my order. The delivery came over two days; I was only informed of the one date. When the second delivery arrived no-one was at home to receive it and the member of staff from Gibbs and Dandy shouted at me on the phone saying, “I told you it was coming, I told you!” I had received no correspondence at all. He was incredibly agitated and threatened to charge me a large sum for the re-delivery. I subsequently had to speak to someone at the Dulwich branch and the the penalty for the re-delivery was eventually waived.

I paid close to £4000 for the kitchen worktop. In the specifications I advised the member of staff that I would like drainer grooves. I paid the full price up front, which included the drainer grooves. However, when it was installed there were no drainer grooves. When I queried this I was advised that my builder told them that I did not want drainer grooves. The builder categorically denies this. Gibbs and Dandy advised that I would have to make an additional payment of over £1000 to get the grooves on the worktop, and they would refund a little over £100 plus VAT if I should decide to keep it as it is. I felt I was left with no choice but to accept the refund that they were offering, but then they said they would be unable to issue the refund to my credit card, despite having issued refunds for other items previously.

The kitchen cabinets came with the panel missing for the cutlery drawer. The individual who has been our primary contact at Gibbs and dandy throughout this experience was contacted by my fitter about this. A video was sent demonstrating that the part was missing. However no action has been taken and they deny receiving any correspondence about this which I know is incorrect as I have seen the message and the video that was sent.

My black range cooker has come with a random grey panel. The kitchen is black and white and the grey panel looks completely out of place. I have contacted Gibbs and Dandy about this and I am awaiting a response.

The panels that Gibbs and Dandy have provided for the integrated fridge freezer allow for it to be fitted either in a way that would mean both fridge and freezer have to be opened each time either of them has to be used, or you have to open the fridge to gain access to the freezer. Neither of these options is ideal, and reduces the energy efficiency of the appliance as well as being technically and aesthetically problematic.

The plan for the kitchen did not allow for my existing washing machine to be integrated into the kitchen although this was what was agreed.

Overall, this has been an incredibly stressful experience. I wish I had gone with someone else.

I have been dealing with the Dulwich branch and the experience has been second to none. Jamie, Lee and Kim have left me speechless, always in contact with me to make sure I am upto date on my purchase and delivery. Great service and great company, I will be back. Thanks guys.

The staff both counter and yard are both friendly and attentive,when asked to get specific items they are only to happy to accommodate,with a phone call that comes to advise on lead times,and materials availability,this is a credit to a hard working staff that make this a pleasure to use gibbs and dandy eastbourne,well done

Overall, a top-notch company that I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Gibbs and Dandy @ Luton have a great display of bathroom products and helpful and friendly staff throughout. Delivery was also quick and easy and arranged at a time convenient to us. Have to mention that we could never have managed without their absolute star of a showroom assistant Lorraine Taylor. She knew everything we needed to know about buying a bathroom, gave some great advice and no challenge seemed to be too much for her, or anything too much trouble. She certainly went that extra mile to help us with everything we needed, and was always able to see the funny side.

I have an account with them and I contacted credit control to try and sort out a payment plan , the lady wasn't interested in what I had to say she was adamant that it was her way or legal team way , so I had to go legal team way . Very very disappointed, especially when the Chichester depot team are very helpful.

My local branch is at Henley and I popped in to buy some gutter brackets and was asked to pay £5.40 each, when every where else,Screwfix and Amazon for example, sell them for £1.80.
When I queried this, the man serving me merely laughed.
Irritated, I wrote to the company head office and received a reply promising the branch manager would make contact with me.
Naturally, I never heard another thing.
I've been purchasing items from them for 20 years, but never again.

I have been ordering and getting deliveries from the Luton branch I couldnt have asked for am more helpful set of people.....Todays delivery guy was brilliant.... I hope you look after your staff they are so good .
