Quality of the fresh food is very good
Quality of the food is very good, it’s fresh and healthy. My dog had health issues, but all problems gone as soon as he started to eat the DogChef. The site is easy and friendly, so the ordering was easy and quick.

The food is well balanced nutritionally. The dog loves it. After six months with Dog Chef he never needed a visit to the vet. The deliveries are punctual, and the food always arrives fresh and cool. Great customer support team!
My dog absolutely loves Dog Chef’s food—I can see her excitement every time dinner is served! Before we switched to Dog Chef, we were visiting the vet every month due to gastrointestinal issues. I was an extremely happy customer until a delivery issue with DHL, caused by poor communication on their end, resulted in our food arriving too late and going to waste.
However, Dog Chef’s customer support team turned that negative experience around by issuing a full refund, even though it wasn’t their fault. Big kudos to their customer support team for their outstanding service!

Attrocious Service
Attrocious service. They use DPD couriers for delivery (Belgiums worst courier company with a 1.9 star google review rating). DPD never drop my fiancés order at her address, continuously claiming she wasn't there, when she can prove she was. Instead they leave the order at a shop 4 kms away, negating the entire reason for delivery, causing her to have to drive there, find parking and then haul a 20kg bag of dog food into her car. Despite numerous email complaints to Dog Chef this persists forcing her to go to the European Consumer Council now.

Upon reviewing the situation, we noticed that there was a duplicate address entry ("number 12" entered twice) when creating her account. This was the reason DPD was unable to deliver directly to her address.
We’ve communicated this to her and have seen that the address has now been corrected. With this update, we expect future deliveries to be flawless. In the meantime, we will still follow up with DPD regarding the past delivery issues and your complaints about their service, as this situation should not have escalated this way.

I have chosen this shop because guys managed to convince me in quality of their food, like it's an organic product, high-quality kibbles with fresh ingredients.
I made an order, it was a bit difficult process, but anyway I managed to get what I ordered and the very indicator of quality is that my dog started to eat this food. Nothing repelling, he doesn't have any intestine disorders afterward or something like that

The Dog Chef's new regular customer
I was looking for ideas about giving my dog home cooked food as we almost lost him in February, and had gone off most food. I ordered the book about homecooking from The Dog Chef.
While reading the information, I realised that he needed other nutrients in his food. I ordered The Dog Chef Calcium as well as The Dog Chef Daily. (Chester had previously tried a different supplement which he would not eat at all - still have a kilo left of this!)
Unfortunately the order never arrived and I contacted Anne-Marie. She checked and found that it had been delivered, but as it obviously hadn't been delivered to me, she sent out a replacement. I asked her for the Royal Mail tracking number which she gave me. This time the order arrived.
Since using the information from the booklet, plus the Dog Chef supplements, Chester now eats every single meal, which is a huge relief.
Thank you Anne-Marie. It's taken 4 years 4 months to get Chester's eating habits right, but we got there in the end with your help! (PS I've just placed another order!)

Great fresh food
Dog chef is a good quality fresh food. Their website is a bit difficult to navigate in the beginning but once you have set up the order that you need, they are very timely and consistent. I have been really happy with the food and how reliable the service is.

Obscure and misleading prices
Obscure and misleading prices. I signed my dog up for 2,44 EUR per day but what they didn't say was that this was for the trial box only (which only has two weeks of food in it) and they also didn't say that this is for 5 week delivery which doesn't suit me because I have limited freezer space. The actual daily price for 4-weekly delivery? 3,04 EUR per day, so 0.60 EUR more per day. 86.80 per month! Extremely expensive. Also, the food is nowhere near as nice or high quality as Butternut Box. I would advise to avoid this company.
