Never using lastminute.de again!! The WORST customer service I have EVER encountered!!!
I booked three flights for March 2020, which were canceled for obvious reasons. I was given the option in early April to get a voucher or to be refunded and opted for the voucher, assuming that it would be a "smoother" and more convenient process for all involved. I received a message from lastminute.de on April 18th that they were having "technical difficulties" and could not issue my voucher.
According to my account, the "technical difficulties" are still ongoing, now, 3 months later, on June 12th.... Folks, you clearly need to hire some IT support... In other words, they are continuing to sit on my money... It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone by phone, there is NO email address on their Web site, and they have completely shut themselves off to customers (i.e. they are in hiding - bad sign....).
Today, after calling numerous numbers and listening to myriads of automated messages, I finally did get through to someone and explained that I am slightly frustrated and getting annoyed, and that I know that she herself is not at fault for this mess. She told me that lastminute.de has not yet received any money from the airline, and when I told her that in that case, I would like to change my option from a voucher to a refund, SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! I am in shock about such lousy (or rather non-existent) customer service!!!! Fine, I guess I will have to take legal action, but lesson learned - I am definitely NEVER booking with lastminute.de or ANY of their affiliates ever again!!
