Poor value for money

I have been using Villa Plus for many years and have had a good experience. Not so much this time.
The Villa was over priced for the quality it offered.
We walked in and were confronted with numerous laminated signs not only saying what we could not do but two laminated pages stating what we would be charged for. This included at least 60 euros for leaving rubbish. Yet the kitchen cupboards were full and I mean full of old food. The fridge had 3 half bottles of tomato sauce and numerous half full bottles of mayonnaise and other sauces. The freezer needed serious cleaning.
The signs said you would be charged for getting sunscreen on towels and would be charged. In all my years I have never been confronted with all this especially when the property was poor for a holiday villa of this price.
There was a lack of coat hangers and inadequate pillows. There was no gas in the barbecue. The kitchen needed updating.
Seriously over priced.
I raised many of the issues from day one.
However, while very overlooked the outside area was nice and it was good to have a heated pool.

My husband was given a free two week…

My husband was given a free two week trial of this by the NHS yesterday. Given he has just been diagnosed and was very anxious but very technologically minded this felt a really important way for us as a family to adjust diet and lifestyle and in the longer term manage medication. For the first 12 hours it was great but then stated the blood sugar had fallen. Checked with manual blood test that showed a different result.
Then it stopped working altogether and stated replace sensor. So a sensor that was supposed to last for 2 weeks lasted 24 hours.
Really quite shocking given that this is recommended by the NHS and would cost over £100 a month. Very concerning and disappointing.

My parcel was delivered to another…

My parcel was delivered to another house, and not a neighbour’s house. Despite knocking on the door they clearly did not clarify the name and who the parcel was for.

I spoke to DPD and they could see on their system that it hadn’t been delivered to my address. It was suggested I went and looked for the house but I could see from the brickwork that it clearly was not any neighbours.

This was not a free delivery. I paid for it.
Unlike some companies I was able to speak to them on the phone and they were very pleasant. I asked why the driver would knock the door and yet fail to ask if it was them or not and I was told he should have done.

However, the fact remains an expensive item that I paid to have delivered has not been delivered and it was a birthday present

Beautiful Cupboard

I have just received my new cabinet and I’m absolutely delighted. It is just what I wanted. I think it is very good value. The lead time was longer than expected but if you are able to wait it is certainly worth it

Dreadful company

I ordered a cabinet on the 12th October. It stated delivery within 4 to 6 weeks. I heard nothing. I called them and they said 8 weeks. I called again and they said 12th December. It was not delivered and no contact. I called again and they said I would be advised of a delivery date for week commencing 16th of December. I heard nothing so called on the 16th and was advised it eould be delivered on the 20th and would be advised of the time slot on the 19th. I called several times on the 19th and emailed but no response. I called again several times on the 20th but no answer or response to email. The afternoon of the 20th I got a short email saying they were on holiday and it wouldn’t be delivered until 10th January. This company is a disgrace. They don’t tell the truth. Their customer service is non existent. I don’t have a product or my money back. I would not recommend this company

Good value and great range

I really love the range in Sainsbury’s including the Habitat products and the Argos collection point. I love cooking so really appreciate the authentic cooking products from India, Africa and the Caribbean. Good prices on wines and beers too! The money off vouchers have been a great bonus too!

Ordered a SMEG induction range

Ordered a SMEG induction range. The reviews were really helpful in making a decision. Loved the communication from AO. Prompt delivery and the instillation was really good. Overall experience has been excellent . Spent the afternoon trying out my new cooker, which looks great, and so far so good!

Lack of customer service

I received a message saying I could not win as I was not in the UK. This is not true. I tried to create an account. It repeatedly said the password was incorrect and there was no facility saying forgot password. I paid £25 and now I’m left thinking I won’t win as the site does not recognise me. There is no contact number. Really really unhappy.

I love Samuel Groves pans

I love Samuel Groves pans. This pan is fantastic. I use it everyday . I use it for making stocks and soups, casseroles and as a large saucepan. Can’t recommend it more. Love it.
