Excellent service

Excellent service. I ordered a brand new car from their special deals section. If you are interested, keep looking at the special deals as they can change daily. I enquired online on a Sunday, they called me back on Monday and talked me through everything and then confirmed the order. The dealer was a little further away from home than I would have liked, but the car was delivered perfectly. I got a great saving and my local dealer couldn’t match it. The car also arrived earlier than expected.

Dreadful service and they lie

I was expecting my order to be delivered yesterday by DX Express. They sent me an email and text message to say it would be delivered between 14:15-16:15. They then sent me an email and text at 19:30 that evening saying “sorry we missed you, we tried to deliver your item”. This is a complete lie. My partner and I have been in all day. Not only do we have a Ring doorbell, but also several external CCTV cameras, so can confirm that no one from DX attempted to make a delivery.
I then get an email at 8:36 this morning to say they would deliver the item between 15:33-17:33. Been in all day again, no delivery. Get an email at 19:07, saying “sorry we missed”.
Absolutely appalling service. Would not recommend these and I would avoid buying from any company that uses them for delivery.

The engineers were great

The engineers were great, however the rest of the service was poor. I was upgrading to fibre but the original conduit was blocked, so the first engineer couldn't complete the job. Another team came out to check, tried a bigger rod but failed, so said a soft dig was needed. They turned up a week later without warning and did the job. Then heard nothing, so phoned sky only for them to say they need to do a soft dig, which told them it was done. Had to keep phoning sky only to be told the same and said it was open reach haven't ticked off the job. Eventually got it sorted, but a lack of communication from open reach was disappointing.

Disappointed that you no longer offer Amazon vouchers as a prize reward. Amazon vouchers gave us much more options to buy some we might actually want. Please return to offering Amazon vouchers as a prize choice.

I like now that they offer PayPal as a…

I like now that they offer PayPal as a payment method, how there is still no app for iOS or Android. Also, having previous set up a subscription for a certain monthly amount giving a number of entries, I had since discovered a cheaper monthly fee for more tickets. So this is very disappointing that my subscription was not updated to the equivalent number of entries, or informed of the better value subscription, but instead found out by chance. I am also concerned that they are not giving full disclosure about the properties as can be read in the media. I.e, one house in the Cotswolds is believed to flood regularly and a house Devon is allegedly close to falling into the sea.

Brilliant company

Brilliant company. A great place to get Lego at a cheaper price. Items are well packaged and are shipped fairly quickly after payment has been processed. They ship around the world, though at a cost, but shipping to UK is reasonable and still cost effective if purchasing a lot of sets. Just a couple of suggestions. 1) Marketing emails are in Dutch, it would be better if there was an English version. 2) An option to pay in GBP would be useful.

Fantastic website and service

Fantastic website and service. I was a little bit nervous with it being based outside the UK, and additional charges for credit card and PayPal transactions, but risked the debit card. No worry needed as goods arrived a few days later and was kept informed. A lot of items are cheaper than Lego direct, but some aren’t, so always compare. I would definitely recommend.

First time online customer and last

First time online customer and last. I placed an order for an item that was shown as in stock, it was the best price I had seen for the item and even got an extra 10% off using the discount code they advertised. 2 day later I got an email apologising that there had been an unforeseen stock issue and therefore cancelled my order. I also got an email from Amazon today stating that another item I had ordered, which unknowingly at the time of order was being sold by Hamley’s, had been cancelled but no reason given. So 2 orders in a week cancelled. Extremely poor service and I will never use them again. I would not recommend.

Dreadful service

Dreadful service. I ordered two items from eBay, each dispatched a day apart. Each via a 48 hour service, with the first item sent on the 8th, the next on the 9th. Got an email on the 14th morning to say first item would be delivery between 10:30 and 12:30 that day. Item didn't arrive. Checked the tracking in the afternoon and it stated it was still in the Hyde depot and the delivery hasn't been scheduled. So why send an email stating it was on it's way! Emailed customer services and got an automated reply stating someone would be in touch within 24 hours. Got a reply back on 16th just before midday apologizing and that they have asked the depot to investigate and that they are awaiting their reply. Surely it would have been better to get a response from the depot before contacting me. Both parcels eventually delivered together on 18th, although the delivery driver only gave me one parcel until I asked "isn't there another one", then he checked and found the other one. So, a 48 hour service took 8 days. Avoid!!!

Lack of after sales care

I bought a pack of 3 IP Annke cameras from Amazon in Jan 2019. I was very impressed with them to start with. I download the app, not a great app, but it worked (some camera connectivity issues now and again). I then linked it to my Amazon Echo show. I bought a couple of extra ones in Jan 2020, only to find the originals ones had been replaced by a newer model. However, these needed a different app to run which is a pain. Why they can't create a single app that can run different model baffles me! Both sets of camera have good image quality even in low light conditions. So why only 1 star. This is because the certificate for the Alexa skill expired in July 2020. I have been in touch with Annke customer services, who have said the camera is discontinued and thus they have not renewed the certificate. This is extremely poor after sales care. I bought the cameras specifically to view them on my Echo show, so to effectively discontinue this after only 18 months is not fair on people who have paid out good money. While they offered me a discount on a future purchase, what is the point when the same thing could happen. I have completely lost trust in this company.
