Dreadful service and they lie

I was expecting my order to be delivered yesterday by DX Express. They sent me an email and text message to say it would be delivered between 14:15-16:15. They then sent me an email and text at 19:30 that evening saying “sorry we missed you, we tried to deliver your item”. This is a complete lie. My partner and I have been in all day. Not only do we have a Ring doorbell, but also several external CCTV cameras, so can confirm that no one from DX attempted to make a delivery.
I then get an email at 8:36 this morning to say they would deliver the item between 15:33-17:33. Been in all day again, no delivery. Get an email at 19:07, saying “sorry we missed”.
Absolutely appalling service. Would not recommend these and I would avoid buying from any company that uses them for delivery.
