It never works properly - technical error after technical error repeatedly which their pop up confirms “ it’s us, not you”. Gave up. Appalling quality fleece lined track suits. Bought two sets, both rubbish! The insides shed fleece lint like no tomorrow. Gave up vacuuming and threw this garbage where it belongs- in the bin. I’ll never buy anything from Sports Direct again.

I have written 4 emails over one week to Accor ALL customer care without a word in reply or acknowledgement. I have sent 3 emails direct to the Accor hotel I’m trying to contact, also without a single reply.
As a result of this none existent customer service Accor group is now blacklisted for accommodation, meetings and F&B.

ADT announced an almost 17% increase in monthly fees effective 01/12/2022. I emailed them immediately to protest such a high increase which smacked of price walking of loyal customers, a typical ploy of big arrogant companies dealing with consumers. Automated reply said they will respond within 10 days ( that in itself is PPP). I emailed them on 28/10/2022 and again on ( with the whole email thread) 17/11/2022. No response at all. I have tried calling but gave up because no one answers the phone. Such poor service gives strong cause for concern on how they would perform in the case that a burglar tried to gain entry to my property I am paying ADT to protect. I find this level of service intolerable and am now busy working on alternatives. ADT - you are shocking!

Delivery took 26 days instead of the 10-14 days they commit to on their website. Emails to check on delivery status ignored or replied to with lies.Promised phone calls with answers never received. In short appalling customer service with an attitude. When the chair was finally received, dumped on the driveway by some courier service without notice, we had our physiotherapist take a good look at it. They pronounced it to be poorly designed, poorly constructed from poor materials and entirely unfit for purpose- pronouncing it would do more damage than good to a user. Furthermore these people are not the manufacturer or designer, they are just traders, buying in cheap unfit for purpose rubbish product from a contractor. Avoid!

I bought a cordless vacuum in December 2020 and immediately after delivery I registered the guarantee with Hoover on their website. Now 20 months later it’s developed a fault. The guarantee clearly states all parts guaranteed FOC for 10 years, but labour cost must be paid by the customer if product is over 12 months old.
I accepted this and called their UK service centre and spoke to the service operative. They said there is no parts guarantee of 10 years on vacuums, this only applies to large appliances like refrigerators, freezers, washing machines etc. Definitely not vacuums which are only 12 months. I insisted I had the guarantee and it clearly is printed 10 years. I also repeated I had registered the product as stated in the guarantee in order to be protected and the registration engine had accepted my entry. The operative then said I must have the wrong guarantee and told me to go back to the retailer as nothing they at Hoover could or would do!

Review of British Gas
BG finally ran out of 2 years of covid excuses and installed a smart meter on my gas supply. The installer did not attach or supply the smart monitor.
I have spent 6 months and around a dozen separate online chats with a different chat host every time. Each one says they will arrange for an engineer to come around with a monitor and attach it. As you will not be surprised to learn, the result is absolute zero action by BG.
Yesterday I tried yet again. The upshot of the chat was I was instructed to get hold of Scottish Power, my electricity supplier who subsequent to BG fitted me with a complete set of smart meter and monitor, and ask the to hook up BG smart meter to the SP smart meter! What a wonderful example of a rubbish company diving out of responsibility. It was their screw up and they want me to ask another utility to fix it.
Well I shall do that. I’m leaving BG permanently in a few weeks when my contract is up and will get a decent supplier to replace them.
I advise everyone to follow suit.

I, like many people do not do social media, so this is yet another scurrilous method this incompetent, totally useless company use to frustrate their consumer base. Inept outfits like this will ultimately fail as a business, and they deserve to! Next shareholders meeting……will be fun 🤩
