Read my review before purchasing

I’ve held off from writing a review until I got my straighteners back and tested them but now I think people need to be warned away from cloud 9! After constantly buying cloud 9 straighteners since 2009 this will definitely be my last!! My straighteners have a fault, they burn my hand when straightening my hair, they get too hot in the middle whilst holding them, I sent them back and was without them for a week, they were returned yesterday and I’ve just tried them and the fault is still there !!! They said they’ve replaced parts but they’ve basically done nothing !!!
Poor customer service to from start to finish! Gonna sell these and let them be someone else’s problem and go back to GHD, don’t waste your money, cloud 9 has truly gone down hill!!!

Please AVOID MG if you value your life

I would avoid MG like the plague !! I am a service advisor and have been for easily 10 years and I would never treat a customer the way my father has been treat! He bought a brand new MG HS last year and has had nothing but problems with the brakes and a juddering gearbox, which I’m aware is common fault with the gearbox but conveniently no one from the dealerships can fault it. It’s been in several times for this issue and the first time he was told they had opened a technical case with MG to which my dad heard nothing further, knowing the motor trade like the back of my hand, I know that when a technical case is raised it’s because they suspect a fault, since that day he has been told no technical case was ever opened, after speaking to the dealership manager due to my utter disgust at the way my dad had been treat he fobbed it off as a characteristic of the car which is a load of … because it didn’t do it on a test drive and hadn’t done it up to the time my dad booked it in!
My dad is in very bad health and is being expected to keep bringing it back in to the dealership and arrange lifts backwards and forwards, at no point has anyone every offered to collect the vehicle and offer him a courtesy car, if I was the service advisor that’s the first thing I’d of done! We have contacted customer care regarding the whole situation and just like the dealership they are utterly useless to say the least and not interested one bit in customer experience/service. Personally I feel Chorley MG are as useful as a cold and Gary Smart at customer care has no customer care skills whatsoever and is doing the company no favours whatsoever!!! I will be posting the review anywhere possible to warn people away from MG! Out of all the car me and my family have had, MG is by far the worst !!!!!!!!! & a massive regret!

Tammy at Wigan is the absolute best ! Lovely person! Credit to goldsmiths

Writing this review was one of the easiest reviews I’ve ever wrote. After having an awful experience at Trafford Centre Goldsmiths, Tammy at Wigan fully turned it around for me. For my 30th Birthday my parents bought me a beautiful necklace but they bought it a few weeks before my birthday, they went on holiday and left the necklace with me to open when it was my birthday, when I opened it and tried it on I found the necklace was too short and really felt like it was strangling me, it also kept feeling like it was knotting because it was so fine anyway I wasn’t happy with it so within the return time I phoned up to Trafford and explained my parents were away for another few weeks but I wanted to change my necklace because it was too short, I asked if I could exchange it as my parents could send me a pic of the receipt and they said yeah so I took it back to Trafford on my birthday and felt as if I got zero help at all. I asked could I just return it for now and start again when mum was back and they said no because my mums card wasn’t here so I basically was forced to buy a separate longer chain online because that was my only option, this would leave me with 1 chain that would never be used. When my mum was back off holiday she was really upset because I was unhappy with the necklace but had no other choice but to keep both of them. She decided to contact Tammy at Wigan who she initially bought the necklace off and since my mum making that phone call the whole experience changed , Tammy was incredible and she’s a real asset to Goldsmiths, she knew how unhappy I was and offered to change it for something else, she spent hours with me to work out what I really wanted because I had no idea I have an engagement ring and wedding ring so rings wasn’t an option and everything she was asking I kept saying no to but she spent the time with me to find exactly what I wanted and as it happens I ended up getting another ring for my right hand a beautiful sapphire ring which is my birth stone, she was so so patient and lovely. To make the experience even more special she went above and beyond the day I collected the ring (today) and it was just beautiful I’m so so grateful Tammy you’ve no idea how much you changed my experience, I love my ring so much thank you for everything xx

Amazing !!

I normally buy everything well the majority of stuff from boots but recently I’ve bought 3 items from lookfantastic and I have to say I will always be checking here first! The prices are brilliant compared to other places , the delivery is exceptional! I ordered something Thursday and it’s out for delivery today (Saturday) can’t fault LF at all ! Lovely Staff !

I would just like to say how lovely Caroline is in customer care. I received an item that was faulty and emailed customer services but hadn’t heard back, that may be because it hadn’t been long enough though as it had only been about 36 hours ish however I’ve just phoned up and spoke to Caroline and she was extremely friendly, such a lovely nature and a real pleasure to deal with! She resolved my issue immediately!

Brilliant service ! Nice driver round my estate

Brilliant service !! I must admit i used to hateeeee ordering if i knew Hermes were delivering because something ALWAYS went wrong but since Evri has taken over or whatever has happened the deliveries ive had recently are brilliant !! They email to say when the delivery will be made and always always deliver within the time slot given or follow my instructions if im not in.
The guy who does the deliveries around my house is brilliant, really friendly and really efficient :) Top guy, top service!!

Loyalty means nothing to this company

Absolutely disgusted at Manchester Airport Clayton! Our experience shows loyalty and gratitude no longer exists! We have booked this hotel since 2017 every time we have flown out of Manchester - & when I say we I mean 4 people, so a decent booking! When we have gone back through our bookings even to the most recent being November 21 the room price has gone up a ridiculous amount !! We were advised by someone at the bookings team to contact the hotel directly to see what they could do on price with our loyalty and we have received a response saying there’s nothing they can do except the £10 off that anyone can get - Well we will now take our loyalty elsewhere in future

AMAZING PRODUCTS

Just received my order and oh my god I’m obsessed ! The perfumes are insanely good !!! && exactly the same as the real ones !!!
I ordered baccarat rouge, lady million, creed aventus and Gucci guilty - in my opinion they are all the same, not sure on aventus as il be honest I’ve never tried the real one but it still smells amazing either way
Also delivery was brill, the only annoying part was they sent an email saying it was dispatched the day after I had ordered it but because Royal Mail tracking didn’t update I contacted EV but it turns out it hadn’t even been posted, so it really took 2 days since I ordered to despatch other than that everything was perfect thank you 😊

Such a lovely break !!

We have just come back from a lovely 4 day break at Landal north lakes in aspartia and it was absolutely beautiful , we stayed in the Wellington, the cabins were just absolutely gorgeous and sooo private 😍 the hot tub was just to die for. The cabin catered for absolutely everything you could possibly want or need ! When we arrived we had some lovely welcome gifts such as shortbread, hot chocolate, milk, butter, bread, jams. There were a couple of reasons why I’ve not marked it 5*. 1. was because of the check in time being 5pm, in winter is awful, far too late because it’s dark at that time and the postcode takes you directly to someone’s garden, we ended up turning round in their garden, so it really wasn’t easy to find in the dark so we only got there (found it) at 6pm so we hadn’t much of a night, not only that, by the time we eventually arrived we were so stressed through getting lost with our 4 month old baby in the car who was also due for feeding at 5. 2. A couple of maintenance issues in the cabin, one of which meant every time we came back from the hot tub it woke our sleeping baby. 3. On the first night the handle to the hot tub snapped when we were just looking at the tub, so that ruined our first night and following day until I found out they were aware it was bad and they were waiting on a new cover but I was panicking thinking I was going to be charged for it and I’m currently on maternity so really couldn’t afford anything like that to happen. Maybe we should have been made aware you were waiting for a new cover so if anything did happen like it did we would have known not to worry. We also had a drama when booking this due to misinformation which caused us to initially cancel our pre booking but that was from Hoseasons not Landal, a lovely Landal agent contacted me and sorted it all out so we rebooked
Although the above was frustrating it wasn’t enough to stop us staying here again. If we were going to look at staying in the Lakes again we would definitely be booking here. It’s one of the nicest cabins we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you so much xx

Bad customer service !! Not even been on the holiday yet !!!!

Sadly my review is very similar to the person below. I booked my holiday online last night, this will be our first as a family as we have recently had a baby so we want it to be special and have no problems when we arrive, its also the first wedding anniversary we can actually celebrate that isnt in a lockdown! We booked a package with TUI, even though more expensive but we thought it would be less hassle. We will need a cot on arrival so i have just phoned through to customer service and spoke to Dave - i was initially waiting about 12-20 mins to get through to anyone which is fine, i understand a lot of people will be trying to get through but once i got through i was put on 2 very long holds maybe 10-15 mins each, it felt as if the guy was just trying to pass time - the first 15 mins was to add notes to the booking of a cot and our wedding anniversary - if you cant type quicker than that then really, your in the wrong job. The second hold was most definitely time wasting. When he added the notes about the cot he said its subject to availability and he thinks most hotels do have cots but he cant be sure, so im travelling to Greece with an 8 month old and not even sure hes going to have a cot to sleep in - how embarrassing! So the second hold was to 'go away and try to confirm' we would have a cot, he came back and said he couldnt find the information out and he would give me the number to ring the hotel myself to find out - HMMMMM poooooor ! Im starting to lose faith with this holiday and ive only just booked it - now im not even looking forward to it

BUYER BEWARE OF THE LG SOUND BAR

Wow truly disgusted with the customer service received from LG! I had nothing but praise for them in a previous review over a TV remote, now we need assistance with an LG sound bar (within warranty) that has been cracking for a long time, they are asking ridiculous things of us. We have sent 2 videos of the fault which we had to sit all day to get due to it being so random but that isn’t good enough, they are saying they can’t hear the sound from the sound bar when the sound is on which you actually can, we know 100% it’s coming from the sound bar we’ve studied it long enough! We have a 77’’ LG OLED TV which they are now asking us to move the LG sound bar away from the LG OLED TV so basically your saying the LG sound bar isn’t really compatible even though it’s been sold as if it is! BUYERS BEWARE!!
I will be taking this up with trading standards from now on as you aren’t following through with your warranty.

AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!

So upset and annoyed writing this review but i feel people need to be aware especially older clientele!
My elderly parents had a very expensive bed delivered this morning only to be told by the delivery drivers that they wont be assembling it for them as you have to pay £20 for that service. My mum phoned me really upset as both her and my dad have waited a long time for it to be delivered and were really hoping to be sleeping in it tonight in their newly decorated bedroom. My mum was so upset as both her and dad agreed no one had offered the fitment service to them or else they would have had it - My dad has a very serious breathing illness so there was not a chance he would be able to assemble the bed, my mums just come out of hospital so she cant and ive just had a baby so i cant be lifting or doing anything like that so should they have been offered it at the time they categorically would have paid it without question. I phoned Horwich store and spoke to the 'manager' Craig if you can call him that! Granted i was a bit high rate but anyone would be if their parents had been left in the situation mine had! He was super rude and basically called my parents liars, i started off the call at a level 2 in frustration, i ended the call at a 100 due to how he was speaking to me and constantly talking over me! He said that all his staff are targeted on selling fitting so theres no way it wouldn't of been offered. When i explained i was in customer service myself and the way he was speaking to me was most definitely not how you should talk to a complaint customer he laughed and sniggered! His only way of helping was to ring a local 'man and his van' type person to see how much they will charge to come and put my parents bed together - Craig told me BFB charge £20 and this random guy will do it for £25 - Obviously we've had to opt for that as theres no other way!
Also i said well we will just have to return the bed then as we cant assemble it, only to be told by Craig you cant return a bed once bought which i think is extremely bad as im sure every product is supposed to have a returns option!!
Luckily i phoned HO and spoke to a lovely young lad named Elliot who was very apologetic for the way ive been treat and my parents and offered us goodwill as an apology which i accept however i really think people need to be aware as i dont want people being put through what we have. My poor baby has just had to hear his mum getting all worked up on the phone and coming off crying because of the communication with Craig.
As it turns out the bed is infact damaged! The guy Bensons sent has been and assembled it and the base / draws are damaged!
Thank god this has happened now as i was waiting until mums bed came and i was going to try hers then potentially purchase the same if i liked it as my bed is now 7 years old but theres no way i would touch BFB again now.
