Riverside Hull selling dodgy cars

No better than a backstreet dealer
The daughter bought a so called "quality" used Mini from Riverside Seat Hull. When we tried opening the bonnet to fill the washer bottle it wouldn't open as expected, we took it to a local mini specialist. It took two of them to get it to open and on inspection they said the car had some "work" the wings are misaligned to the doors and bonnet. After some conversations they agreed to fix the bonnet and book it into a body shop. The bonnet got fixed but they seem very reluctant to get the bodywork sorted.
The car was not fit for purpose and should never have been sold as a quality used car.

Keep well clear

Anybody about to take out a contract with these seriously need to reconsider there options.
We took out a contract in 2016 and never missed a payment. In nearly eight years we've only had three or four services, they don't send out reminders when a service is due. In October last year we emailed them to arrange a service, they said the engineers will be in touch we are still waiting. We then contacted them about the poor service and got the (due to Covid) excuse which doesn't explain the lack of service before or after Covid. As a service provider they are clearly in breach of contract, the fact that you can't speak to a person over the phone tells you all you need to know about this cowboy outfit.
Further to the above HFB tried to have this review removed, seems they don't like folk telling the truth.

Poor quality

Bought them less than a year ago, was looking at adding extra set when checked the connection found it had disintegrated and had a funny smell so cleaned it up and the lights tripped so not usable.

That this has been caused by water ingress into the end cap, as the fitting may have become loose over time. We have as you will have already read offered to fully replace these lights under the 12 month warranty. We have also offered advise on how to avoid this happening again with your new set. Very disappointed

Very disappointed
Ordered a tyre to be fitted at a local garage, but it didn't arrive so wasted a morning. Tried contacting them through the phone number provided on the invoice but was just a pre-recorded message and had no response from email.

Very pleased

Very sceptical about ordering due to some negative comets.
The tiles we wanted weren't readily available elsewhere so went ahead and ordered them.
I found the whole transaction very good and trouble free, with regular updates from Tiles direct and the delivery company.
Although the delivery charge is high it is offset by the tile price been cheaper.

After sales are very poor

After sales are very poor, reported breakdown on the tea time and told they would ring back the following morning. No one called so rang back on hold for 45 minutes and having to wait 2 days for an engineer.
They did not ask if I was old or vulnerable to prioritise.
They increase the monthly price without notification and they don't issue notification when the boiler service is due, I would look at alternative providers.
