Review of Mobile Tyre Buddy LTD
We needed an emergency tyre putting on last minute and the 24/7 number was very responsive at 10pm and we booked for the next morning. It was double the normal price as expected for an emergency call out. The only down side was we were promised a fitter for 8am due to a holiday but then the next day told they would be by 12noon. Thankfully the fitter arrived by 9am but we would have been a little annoyed for the price if it had been 12noon after being promised 8am.

Loved the way my nails looked but every time I have used the kit within a week they lift and end up flicking off. I’ve not had a set last longer than 10 days sadly and I followed the step by step to the letter. Back to the salon for me I think!

Review of Ultrasound Direct
We first used the Shepshed clinic with our first baby and it was so lovely and personable. The second time around it has been taken over by ultrasound direct. While the sonographers were absolutely lovely and as professional as ever we found the booking process and not being able to speak to the clinic directly very impersonal and clinical and as we wanted to do something a bit special with our gender reveal after the Harmony test it was quite a faff and involved a number of phone calls whereas it hadn’t been when it was a private individual setting. Unfortunately the results still got sent to us automatically so it was a good job I didn’t open the email! When it is a service so personal as having a baby they need to work on making it more personable like it was when it was Miracle in Progress.

Awful! The quality of Jack Wills products has really gone downhill and to boot they have not fulfilled on an offer to provide a £20 voucher for every £100 despite this being advertised, will most certainly be avoiding in future as worry about their reliability.

Excellent service!! I’ve ordered a number of things now and haven’t had a bad service yet! Their price match service has to be the easiest I have ever used and super quick too. They price matched an item of Amazon for me as well. Their customer service team on the phone are also super helpful with queries and questions and answer really quickly.....no hassle or insanely long waits even over Black Friday. Great variety of products, and their loyalty programme is also very good. Really can’t speak highly enough of this retailer!!!

Horrifying customer service! I did a personal shop with Mamas & Papas a while back and had it due for delivery in November. We tried to be very organised as this is our first baby and we didn't want to panic closer to the time. We have now found that despite being promised that stock was protected some of the items we ordered (including parts of the pram) are now out of stock and won't be getting delivered. So we will now have to pick a completely different pram and start all over again at 8 and a half months pregnant totally defeating the point of the customer order!! Avoid at all costs!!!

Where do I begin!!! I would strongly advise anyone to avoid at all costs after the shocking experience we received especially if you are a female on your own!! We made an order with Oak Furniture Land for some of their Mantis range and arranged the delivery shortly afterwards. I usually took deliveries instead of my husband as I work from home and have never had any problems. On the delivery day two men turned up and promptly barged into my house as soon as I opened the door without even taking off their shoes (it was throwing it down outside). After I asked them if they would mind putting on shoe covers their attitude started. Firstly they dropped almost every box getting it off the wagon and proceeded to leave half the delivery outside in the pouring rain so the boxes were soaked. We have a large hallway so this was not at all necessary. Then one of the delivery drivers proceeded to say they wouldn't get a box up the stairs and they would have to unwrap it which in itself isn't a problem but as a lady on my own in the house, the intimidating and aggressive manor I was confronted with as they thrust a waiver into my hands was quite frightening! I felt so worried I just signed the waiver as I just wanted the men out of my house as quickly as possible. They proceed to completely shred the large box in my hallway throwing packaging everywhere - you would have thought a bomb had gone off in my hallway!! After one attempt to get the box upstairs they gave up and told me it was my problem to get it up the stairs - keep in mind we had previously had a super king bed delivered for which there was no issue getting it up the stairs! At no point did they make any attempt to check whether any of the furniture they had unboxed was damaged or not. At this point I had called their helpline as I couldn't reach my husband and didn't feel comfortable with the men in my house - at which point one of the men started muttering quite nasty things under his breath. I then asked them to leave and I figures I would deal with the mess after they were safely on the other side of a locked door!
After the men left (slamming the door behind them I might add) I inspected the items to find of course all elements of the wardrobe were damaged after being dropped so quickly called Oak Furniture Land back to report this. I reported the issues with the furniture and the manor of the men which Oak Furniture Land didn't seem bothered about - the fact that one of their customers had felt intimidated in her own home surely should ring alarms! All in all it took us 5 phone calls (each time we had to wait over 20 minutes on hold to even speak with someone) to get everything resolved and in the end we just wanted the furniture gone. I felt so upset by the whole experience I had to leave my husband to deal with the collection as I didn't want to be anywhere near the delivery drives again. Oak Furniture Land also told us that we had to package the wardrobe back up even though the box was in a 1000 tiny pieces thanks to their delivery team - it took myself and my husband over 2 hours and countless rolls of tape to try and make a decent job of it.
This was such a terrible example of customer service for furniture which us really quite pricey compared to other options on the market. I would encourage customers to shop around and see what local stores can provide as we subsequently bought more furniture at a non-sale price for a lower total cost and the service we received from this local store was second to none! Avoid Oak Furniture Land is my advice!!
