I've been using XE for many years now. Predominantly for £ to € transfer due to their reliability and quick transfers. Their costs are competitive and you can track your transfers as they happen.

I'm over 70 with some minor medical conditions ( all declared) and bought for my wife and I as a couple Annual Multi trip ("Black") which covers for trips up to 55 days long. Excellent 5 star Defaqto policy AND - this is the good bit - £312 cheaper than other well known brands. AND 20% off at the moment! I'm impressed.

I've just been reminded of the terrible service I've received from Prudential ( it's where I chose for my NHS AVCs). They asked me to complete a questionnaire regarding their service. I think I said I was "Dissatisfied" and hoped someone would read my responses and improve their service. I did get paid quickly after battling through all their systems phone calls forms and hoops. Which is more than can be said for another Pension supplier I am also dealing with.

Found what I wanted online when our large local store had no stock in my shoe size. Paid the minimum delivery charge and my shoes were still with me in a few days. Very happy with the price too.

The lead in time for all the recorded messages and menus before I got to speak to a person was almost 4 minutes. But stick with it as my experience was excellent. The person I dealt with was clear and helpful and the policy I was offered after answering their questions is 5 star. However having two ( nearest to)comparative quotations from Sage and Coop the savings were £200 and £400 respectively. Thank heaven for Staysure!

Their showrooms and the staff manning them are unbelievably great. We visited two and this was consistent. Fantastic choice of styles colours and kitchen/utility units at competitive prices. Interest free credit. Patient knowledgeable designers providing a free service. Delivery service for main kitchen and follow up replacement no quibble items, was quick and easy. The Quartz service was impressive from start to finish. In fact we (and our professional installer) have been impressed by Wrens at every stage. Most importantly we love our newly finished kitchen.Definitely recommended.

Delivery made on time and luckily at an esrly time this morning. But surprised and disappointed that was unable to track the delivery the evening ( up until 10pm) the night before.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Had to buy a card for £5 to get lower advertised price. Hmm. Price of shoes turned out not to be the best after all. ( I checked other firms prices later). I also went to look for a new waterproof but didn't spend long on that mission as I was overwhelmed with a hotchpotch of jackets on display. York store looked very tired with buckets on floor to catch water from leaking roof. The 3 stars i gave you were therfore just for your staff!

I am a fairly regular user of XE. Using their App it showed a full transfer value and then an amount for £5000 transfer. When I logged in this amount was reduced by another € 60. Why??
Having had a response from XE I "tested" their App again today. At the full exchange rate the App shows €5958. When you "view quote" this drops to €5895 which i expected. However after I logged in the App shows " recipient gets" €5831. And that is before the App knows where the money is being sent. I think the 3 values are very misleading and probably deliberately so to encourage usage of their exchange facilities.
