I am a fairly regular user of XE. Using their App it showed a full transfer value and then an amount for £5000 transfer. When I logged in this amount was reduced by another € 60. Why??
Having had a response from XE I "tested" their App again today. At the full exchange rate the App shows €5958. When you "view quote" this drops to €5895 which i expected. However after I logged in the App shows " recipient gets" €5831. And that is before the App knows where the money is being sent. I think the 3 values are very misleading and probably deliberately so to encourage usage of their exchange facilities.
