Dodgy service
Was charged more than 3 times the normal cost for a 'special order' key that turned out to be anything but, just a standard window key that didn't even need to be cut, which I was only made aware of after payment was taken. Emailing customer support was a waste of time since they don't respond when you reach out privately, as other reviewers have pointed out, and despite assurances given here. I'd given Timpson a lot of business over the years at a different location, for shoes & watches, so I'm glad that if it was my turn to be misled, it was over something so small. Lesson learned about this location though, Newcastle Eldon Sq, and about the company's overall lack of accountability to their customers when there's a problem.
