I use Lloyds online to prescribe weight…
I use Lloyds online to prescribe weight loss injections. Their service is appalling. The only reason I am still with them is because stocks are low so suppliers prioritise their existing customers, not new ones. The Lloyds website keeps locking me out of my account and asking me to re-set my password, saying it's not recognised but then fails to send me the required email link to do so. My password never changes so I am unlikely to forget it. I think it just doesn't like me signing in from different IP addresses, sometimes abroad, which I have to do because I am overseas or away from home a lot and I sometimes have to order my next prescription while I am away, in order for it to arrive in time for my next dose once I am home.
In spite of HAVING to pay £4.95 for next day delivery, my delivery is never next day. The Mounjaro is temperature critical. It is sent in an ice pack but this always arrives late, completely thawed and at room temperature due to sitting around for too long once dispatched. They do not respond AT ALL to my complaints about this.
They refuse to prescribe the next pen until you have already used the last dose of your existing pen, which means turnaround times are very tight, especially when deliveries are so unreliable. This makes it difficult to keep on track with my treatment plan when I need to travel often with work or go on holiday. They will not deliver to an address other than my home. I understand why, but if they don't deliver on time this causes me huge headaches. I am tired of paying for an order that arrives after I have already left home and having to make my own arrangements at added expense to have it posted on to me by a relative. I am not even sure the pen is still good for use after being out of the fridge so long.
My requests to order early to avoid this are usually ignored or denied. They seem incapable of grasping the difference between ordering too much or too frequently and simply ordering with irregular spacing on occasion. If I get one new pen a week or two early early then I will not order the next one for five or six weeks instead of the usual four. It's not rocket science yet they are so unwilling to cooperate with me on this. It's incredibly infantalising and frustrating. They are one of the most expensive providers and I really expect a better service.
I've ended up missing doses and having gaps in my treatment and yet they have the cheek to send me messages querying the unacceptable 'frequency' of my orders, implying that I am trying to take more than one dose per week, which I have never done.
One look at my ordering timeline from the beginning would tell them that I do not order or take excessive doses, but they can't be bothered to do the maths, instead preferring to continue to deny me early ordering and continuing to deliver late, inconveniencing me further. I am utterly sick of it.
What has happened to Lloyds?
I initially had a good experience with Lloyds but it seems to have gone downhill very fast.
They sent me a Mounjaro pen that does not work. Have contacted them several times but they are completely ignoring my messages.
Am now referring the issue to the General Pharmaceutical Council due to the lack of response and customer care.
Absolutely the worse online service
Absolutely the worse online service, they took money out of my account & I didn’t even receive the item I ordered & it turned out after so many calls & waiting time on phone always 40 minutes plus & I cancelled order & still have not had a refund, no wonder all the pharmacies closed down on the high streets as they are unprofessional & clueless. Don’t use them
Unsafe medications
Have now had x2 deliveries of medication with unfrozen ice packs. As the medication is meant to remain chilled at all times I have no way of knowing if it is safe to use. Have sent emails with no response. Lloyds Pharmacy have started outsourcing deliveries to Pharmacy 2U. They also appear unreachable. Will be switching supplier but remain unsure whether to use.
I originally had a very positive…
I originally had a very positive experience with Lloyd's Pharmacy online but my last two Mounjaro pens only dispensed three doses instead of four doses and then after reordering I did not have my order delivered to my home as a result i was not able to take my medication on time.. I thought Lloyds Pharmacy online would reimburse me or send me more medication in a timely fashion but this was not the case they have clearly washed their hands of the matter and passed the buck to pharmacy2u who have done nothing so far As I am unable to deal with royal Mail directly ( they will only deal with the customer who is sending the parcel) I have had to pay lloyds Pharmacy online again for another Mounjaro pen in the hope it is delivered in a timely fashion (Which should be today 29.8.25) Unhappy to say the least !!!!
No delivery no reply to emails
Paid for a next day delivery for an item. Nothing delivered, been a week, sent emails but no reply apart from automated email saying we’re get back to you. Absolute shocking service, as of today still no delivery or reply. Avoid at all costs
I have been ordering Mounjaro from Lloyds Online Pharmacy
LloydsOnlinePharmacy- issues with safe packaging & delivery
I have been ordering Mounjaro from Lloyds for 12 months and have received good service from them and Evri for delivery - they are one of the most expensive, but I wanted their care and reputation whilst using a somewhat new and unknown product.
The instructions for the Monjaro pen stress the product must be stored in the fridge. There's a long list of potential side effects, including pancreatitis, so I have followed Lily's instructions for the past year with care, including following forums on how to travel with Mounjaro, which ultimately seem to recommend take the dose before you travel to avoid the risk of travelling with your pen and it getting warm.
I've just ordered my 13th pen with Lloyds (2.5mg at £154). They have changed delivery from Evri to Royal Mail and are now using pharmacy2u as their dispensing agent. My delivery arrived at room temperature when all prior pens had frozen/ semi-frozen packaging to keep the contents cool. The cool packs had previously contained a starchy liquid like wallpaper paste, but the package from pharmacy2u was clear water) and this difference may be why it thawed faster.
Lloyds advised via email the change of service provider and assured customers the contents would remain cool for up to 48 hours. My pen was confirmed as dispatched on Monday 4th Aug, but warm with a completely thawed cool pack on arrival Tuesday 5th at 11am.
As a result, based on Lily (Monjaro manufacturers) instructions, I do not feel this is safe to inject into my body. But Lloyds and pharmacy2u say it is and therefore will not issue a refund despite the packaging, product state and service now being different/ compromised compared to past deliveries (they will only issue a refund if the liquid in the pen is yellowed or cloudy).
Why do they expect and consider it safe and reasonable that their word be taken over the licenced manufacturer of Mounjaro? Given this drug is injected, why would anyone take that risk, to be potentially told down the line this might be the cause of severe complications. They are totally refusing any accountability - refusing a refund and no offer to reissue the order, correctly. You get better customer service for buying an item of clothing on Amazon, than for this medical prescription - incredible and very disappointing.
Lloyds current service via pharmacy2u no longer gives me the trust and assurance I expected, previously received, and need, to be able to confidently use this product. I will not be ordering from them in the future.
Wanted to share this experience in case others had the same concerns.
Update 15th Aug 2025 - LloydsPharmacy have emailed their customers today to advise of significant price increases from 1st September 2025 for Mounjaro from the manufacturer, Lilly. It is expected to be anything up to 170% increase; some doses are expected to increase to over £300 per pen.
Lloyds will have to significantly raise their game, in delivery and most of all customer service, to resolve the above issues, if they are to give their customers assurance they are a trusted supplier of this product for customers.
Lloyds Pharmacy are now using Pharmacy…
Lloyds Pharmacy are now using Pharmacy for You to cover their dispensing, so if something goes wrong you really don't have a satisfactory way to follow up, as Pharmacy for You are hopeless.
I have been fobbed off and after 3 emails I still have no solution to a faulty dispensing pen, so I have paid for treatment I have simply not received.
Hopeless
I have no words. Started using Mounjaro for weight loss. Received first course no problems. Upped the dosage for the second course I received. Ordered the third course and got hit with a barrage of questions some of them repeating over and over again. Finally they messaged to say Mounjaro wasn’t suitable for me. After already supplying two courses! I now have to access from somewhere else and have to start at the base dosage again. So frustrating. Avoid at all costs
Waited 50 mins
Went to collect my son's prescription on a Friday was told they didn't have it in stock and was told it would definitely be in mon.went into to collect and waited 50 mins and was then told they still didn't have it in stock son had to go without his medication.
Online service was fine but pharmacy…
Online service was fine but pharmacy treats me like a criminal
Private Prescription
I phoned the Narberth High Street branch to get a price on a private prescription for my Daughter and was quoted £324.23. I rang other pharmacies in the area and they were all in the region of £200.
How can this be ??????????
DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE
DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE or either someone else’s barge pole for that matter. No pen sent, sent emails/ called/ texted, basically they’re saying it’s not their fault and I must have it, therefore I’m lying. Trying to get my money back, which is proving difficult.
Ordered online
Ordered online. My prescirbed treatment came on time and was well packages
Extremely unprofessional
1st - For 3 years their site has said "We're experiencing a high volume..." as I have placed an order with them previously and had issues the first time too.
2nd - They can only accept uploads for verification via Chrome and there is no mention of it when placing an order. Which means you're forced to wait even longer because you will have had to contact support to get told this information.
3rd - You have to go through the hassle of downloading Chrome and redoing everything that didn't work on Edge or Safari the first time.
4th - They lack common sense when it comes to obvious nicknames like Dave for David, Clint for Clinton, Jon for Jonathan and require you to redo your video if your name doesn't match despite your date of birth, surname and address matching everything else on your account.
5th - The subject and body of their responses always contain grammatical errors.
Overall... they're extremely unprofessional. I requested a refund and will try somewhere else after over a weeks worth of hassle trying to obtain my medication through them.
Put the wrong name on my parcel and…
Put the wrong name on my parcel and then printed the name label with a machine lacking ink to the extent that the name was virtually illegable. As a result, Evri delivered it to the wrong address, where the occupants opened it because they couldn't read the label, before they finally (thankfully) looked closely enough to see that it was for me.
Today I was grilled by an online doctor…
Today I was grilled by an online doctor who asked me questions as if I was stupid.
These were questions about using a Ventolin Inhaler,I have had asthma all of my life and do know how to use an inhaler at 75 years of age.
I have now find I was not even corresponding with a Doctor in effect someone who is a pharmacist pretending to be a Doctor in effect. Be careful
Worst service ,rude disrespectful…
Worst service ,rude disrespectful staff. Never answers the phone you can ring all day an you will be lucky if they answer the phone and even if they do answer the phone they do not help extremely slow and rude do not help . The staff at this pharmacy are very bad to customers do not take the job seriously.
Incompetent and Rude
If I could give no stars i would, prescriptions never ready on time, owing prescriptions ignored. Never ever do they answer the phone. Zero customer service and appalling attitude from staff. COMPLETE CARE where you get no care, just appalling service and disgusting treatment from staff, that haven't got a clue what they are doing. Incompetent in every aspect of their so called services.
Previously Great But Now Poor
Been brilliant for years, what a great service that you can just click on easy to use app and have it delivered through the door by Royal Mail. I don’t understand, by the way, other reviews that say Evri. Lloyds always seem to try their best to make sure package will physically go through letterbox. My meds come in a large square box from the manufacturer, but Lloyds take them out and place them in plain smaller long, thin ones instead. It means it comes though letterbox, I don’t have to struggle to get up and answer door. Delivery is usually quite quick and certainty faster than competitors. Also good system where you get notifications and reminders to order.
However…. For the last 2 months I’ve repeatedly tried to order but Lloyds cancel each time by email saying there is an issue their end with their gp request system and that I should contact my gp. I don’t understand why they haven’t sorted this yet. I contacted my gp who thought I was stupid and didn’t understand what I was talking about. She said they couldn’t help and couldn’t dispense as only Lloyds could. Receptionist said if they did dispense and then Lloyds also then did then they’d be in alot of trouble, especially as my meds are controlled drugs. They told me to get in touch with Lloyds. I rang them and they said I should contact my gp!!!!!!!!
After a lot of phone calls AND TIME (I had ran out of some meds), Lloyds said they did actually received the gp prescription confirmation (after they said they had cancelled my order cos their system couldn’t communicate with gp surgeries!!) and they sent it out to me. I was so confused and this is ridiculous that now I’m struggling yet again. Surely if there’s some sort of cyber attack or issue with the system they should say so publicly and contact people in advance. These are life saving medications, doesn’t anyone there have any empathy? I’m not using them anymore and going to a rival.
