Hopeless!

Hopeless!
Bought a bike from them which took ages to come kept promising but then not delivering. Ordered mudguards late August they sent the wrong ones sent these back and still not received the new ones a month on……

Thanks for the sharing your experience, there is no doubt we let you down. Looking back to early in the year, we had a 2 week delay from our promise date which can be make or break especially when you have trip planned.

As for the Mudgaurds it was simple human error that we dispatched the wrong items and then didnt have the correct items in stock anywhere across our stores so we've had to ask you to wait until there back in stock.

I can't quite agree that we are hopeless but we have been frustrating as we haven't been able to the delivery the item you have needed when you have needed them.

Only 1 star because you can’t award less!

Only 1 star because you can’t award o!!!
Not had a service on my boiler for almost 2 years when it is paid for in my contract! Called to sort and was fobbed off. Don’t bother with their boiler cover and annual service as it won’t be done!

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. Paid for delivery, dropped parcel off then later heard the driver wouldn’t collect! Parcel still at the shop but now a stand off as the collection driver won’t take it! Not great when you have paid over £15 for the privilege!

Incredibly poor customer service

Incredibly poor customer service! A week after my order went missing there is still no resolution and as Christmas presents this has left me in a right old mess. Thanks Evans Cycles for being so unhelpful!!!

Useless and don’t even respond!

Useless and don’t even respond! Placed an order 10 days ago with next day dispatch and paid for 48 hr delivery. Some 10 days on no sign of my order and not a single response from Balfe’s Bikes.
I have a lot of bikes and buy a lot of bike gear but certainly won’t be going near Balfe’s again!!!

Wasted a whole day for them to not turn up twice!!!!!

Absolute disgrace booked a day off work for my service appointment. Confirmed for today by text between 8am and 1pm. Having not turned up got on a live chat re-booked for 12-6pm and here we are at 6.15pm a whole 10 hours of waiting for a second now show! Do not buy this is a complete waste of time and money they can’t be bothered to come once you’ve paid! Will be invoicing them for a day wasted!!!

Useless!!!

Absolutely horrendous service and will never use again! Ordered a cassette waited nearly 2 weeks still showing processing. Was promised a despatch date after chasing several times then chased again as wasn’t dispatched when promised. Then told it was out of stock with their supplier so couldn’t give me any date after almost 3 weeks. Eventually had to cancel order and order from a reputable company. Thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt despite bad reviews……wish I’d not bothered! Deserve 0 stars!
