5* customer service

Stewart of team 3A was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the issue with our electricity smart meter and arranged an appointment for an engineer to replace it.

Like other reviewers it was great to speak to a native English speaker who understood my problem and took personal responsibility to get things sorted. If only other companies had such excellent well trained customer care people life would be so much better.

Money saved on cinema and meal deals pays for my insurance.

Like the choice and did not go for the cheapest but the best value for money and service option. Great that all my details are stored so saves time re entering data. Also the savings on half price cinema tickets, pizzas and other deals pays for my annual insurance!

Great service at value for money prices.

Fridge freezer exactly what we wanted. John Lewis unable to offer what we wanted at almost £1,000.

This Indesit fitted perfectly for under £300 including delivery, installation and removal of old unit.

Delivery men turned up on time. Removed old fridge freezer and installed new one into difficult location in kitchen cupboard.

So far delighted with AO.com service and because of this will purchase new Bosch gas hob and Bosch fitted oven from them.

Great value for money, great service and trouble free removal and installation.

Just one thing. Please give delivery men tools so they don’t have to ask the householder. It will make their job easier and avoid dissonance. That’s why only 4* review.

Paid on app for a surprise bag of groceries from my local Morrisons.

Went to pick it up at the appointed time only to be told that Morrisons don’t use this app and have requested they stop promoting surprise bags at their store only for their request to be ignored.

Have asked for a refund.

Great product - poor delivery. I liked being updated on when to expect…

I liked being updated on when to expect my delivery, which was on time.

Delivery men needed my help to get new mattress upstairs to the bedroom. One of the two men (a large man) had difficulty carrying the mattress. I had taken the old mattress off the bed and put it outside the bedroom in advance for ease of access and egress.

I was surprised the men did not unwrap the mattress and put it on the bed, instead they just dumped it and left. I got the impression they were in a hurry. Good thing that I’m a reasonably fit 73 year old man.

Suggestion: image and presentation is everything and impacts your brand positioning.

Turning up in a grubby van and dumping a quality product does take the shine off the delivery off my dream mattress.

Confusing and annoying app that’s not…

TUI is a great company that’s let down by its poorly functioning app. Trying to book a holiday is hampered by confusing navigation. You are not ‘funnelled’ effortlessly to the holiday of your choice. And once you’ve managed to find the holiday you want booking it is not straightforward. I persevered (I had to call their very helpful customer service) until I managed to book the holiday but wonder how many people give up and book their holiday elsewhere.

I THINK SALUS HAVE STOPPED TRADING

I THINK SALUS HAVE STOPPED TRADING.
My IT300 Worked great for the first few years then suddenly went haywire. The remote sensor screen is locked and the iPhone app shows room temperature stuck at 24°C. Can’t override it. So no heating.
Phoned their technical support number in Scotland and the number is now used by NHS Scotland. So phoned their head office number in England, this time the phone was answered by a children’s charity. I was told they get lots of phone calls from irate SALUS customers. Just a hunch but could it be SALUS is no longer in business.

Has Decathlon stopped trading?

Has Decathlon closed down? I returned a faulty product to their store in Braehead over two weeks ago and was promised a refund paid directly into my bank account within a few days. I’ve not received my refund and since then they don’t answer the phone or reply to emails. I noticed when I was in store to replace the faulty item that stock levels were low and very few staff.

Great for original documents and India office research. Very poor compared to ancestry.com on tree navigation and removing people on iPhone. Otherwise excellent.

Perfect folding knife for camping.

Beautiful looking well crafted knife, feels perfectly balanced in my hand and razor sharp. Folding design means it packs small for camping. Perfect for chopping vegetables and slicing meat. The design of the safety lock on the wooden handle is effective and simple to operate. Perfection at a value for money price.

Jelena and her colleagues very helpful and efficient when I had a problem with EDF my previous supplier. They answered the phone after one ring and dealt with my problem on the spot and kept me up to date with immediate emails telling me what they were doing to help resolve my problem. Checked everything while I was on the phone to them and had all the info at their finger tips.

BT scaremongering not true

It's great to have the XLN helpline phone answered by a friendly human within a couple of rings, unlike BT.

I've been with BT for over 30 years and got fed up with their poor service and excessive pricing. So when I told them I was moving to XLN I was bombarded with phone calls and emails suggesting it would be a big mistake and nothing would work.

Well nothing could be further from the truth, Gabriel, who dealt with my transfer, could not have been more helpful and more importantly the transition went smoothly without a problem. Everything they promised they would do they did.

I'm paying less and have moved to a company with excellent customer service. It's so refreshing in this day and age of long waiting times on the phone and dead links. I'd certainly recommend them.
