Great product - poor delivery. I liked being updated on when to expect…

I liked being updated on when to expect my delivery, which was on time.

Delivery men needed my help to get new mattress upstairs to the bedroom. One of the two men (a large man) had difficulty carrying the mattress. I had taken the old mattress off the bed and put it outside the bedroom in advance for ease of access and egress.

I was surprised the men did not unwrap the mattress and put it on the bed, instead they just dumped it and left. I got the impression they were in a hurry. Good thing that I’m a reasonably fit 73 year old man.

Suggestion: image and presentation is everything and impacts your brand positioning.

Turning up in a grubby van and dumping a quality product does take the shine off the delivery off my dream mattress.
