I recently bought an Audi A3 through drivethedeal. You choose the car you want they then quote you a price and if you agree they then put you in touch with the dealer for that car, you pay the dealer not drivethedeal just as you would otherwise. I took out PCP then paid it off before 14days and I saved £4k so very happy basically getting 2 years free depreciation thank you Jim.
Riu have a best price guarantee. I booked 7 nights at one of their hotels in Agadir and then found it cheaper on booking.com. The booking.com booking had a free cancellation period of 5 days whereas the Riu booking was 7 days. They would not honour the price difference stating as below.

The cancellation policies are different.
They should have honoured the price and cancellation period.
For me my experience was okay cheap return flight obviously off peak I don’t buy anything onboard £5 for a can of beer no thanks. My carry on 25 litre bag was good but they are making everyone put their luggage in the bag sizer. It was cringing the Easyjet staff were like the Gestapo I assume they must be on commission.
Cancelled my online order will never use again. Not had refund yet. Please do not go near this company. I think they do this because they have cashflow problems.
On the Riu website it says best price guarantee yet my booking for 5 nights was £200 cheaper on booking.com. I called Riu who said they only guarantee best price on their website. Very strange.
Just had an email saying they are going to debit my bank account £36 for my share dealing account which I haven’t used in over 10 years. Surely this is fraud I have contacted the ombudsman.
I switched to Symbio on a fixed one year deal Low Fair and Green 12M Fixed SE02 v23. Nearly a third cheaper than all other providers standing charges 9.5p per day and 13p per kw. So far so good I photo the meter and to send a photo when I submit a reading at the end of every month (I think this is a must). My DD has so far stayed the same and I am happy. Will give updates if it goes wrong.

Be careful they get you to change things from the original quote then charge you extra. They also charge you an admin fee for changing it. Only go with these if you have to.

Just had email saying broadband going up £2.50 phoned up they just tell you to phone elsewhere. Will change to another provider. You get 30 days to change to another provider free of charge. They had Dildo Harding working for them the one who messed up test and trace.

Hi Jimmy, Sorry your thinking of leaving. Other providers have also had price increases, but on comparison we still remain better value.
Ordered 3x2 and 4x2 quality of timber good. Cheaper than my local builders yard. The delivery driver was very nice all offloaded and stacked in building without a problem. Would order again.
Ordered my timber in August and paid by credit card. Phoned every week and was told it would be with me next week. The last time I called I spoke to Gemma and was told it would be with me on Monday 28th September obviously it didn’t arrive. Contacted my credit card company and got my money back immediately. Just a complete waste of time for everyone. If you do order pay cash on arrival or credit card don’t pay debit card or cash you have been warned.

Thank you for voicing your concerns, I do wish the few customers having a bad experience would leave there order numbers so things can be resolved or refunded ASAP.
We have managed to get just under 4,000 orders out in the last month out to happy customers. Coming from sending 160 out a month on average before the pandemic we have grown dramatically due to a massive demand as well as timber shortage across the whole of the nation. We are doing our very best to keep as many customers happy as possible.
We have learnt a vast amount in the past months; these things have recently been put in to practice, only accepting orders with a value of £400 or more is the main change. This allows us to give future customers a much better, well rounded professional purchasing experience. As taking orders below this amount at our competitive prices, then delivering them all over England & Wales like we used to means our demand is so high our office staff can not offer the necessary care we initially did.
Our phone lines now enable a holding queue rather than hitting an engaged tone all the time, so one of our team can answer your messages. The queue only allows 15 people in at a time, and we have four office staff on the phone from 9 am - 4 pm. If you call when the queue is full, you will hit a voice mail tone. Emails to contact@timberdelivery.co.uk are typically answered within 48 hours.
I would like to apologise on behalf of the company for the current admittedly subpar customer service; we are rushing to make changes as quickly as possible all while having multiple staff off due to Covid-19 and other restrictions.
