I have never used them but applaud there business with that said just watching there reality show first question how can you not own a loader that can't lift 100k pounds easily? 2nd is how can corporate think not spending 50k on a controller when it's costing them 200k also yes I understand clients deadlines especially super rich and terrain with the estimated price of the build there should also be contracts in place that make sure during time line if equipment can't be safely brought in they pay for the fix what ever it is, what ever it cost, it's not a company expense no matter how much you want to impress. Your impress is a perfect build!!!! Also with the company money intake there are soooo many machines that cut your exact depths and lengths before plaining would save and make you so much money with out your mechanic trying to exact your cuts seriously stop cutting corners and you will be trillion airs spend to make from 1 business owner to another

Company was dissolved on 28th June 2022 according to Companies House!

DO NOT USE THESE !!! Absolutely disgusting cowboy builders . Paid around £3k for a custom summerhouse/studio … only to have a half built (if that) building with nothing but leaks from the roof/walls and floor ! Never seen anything like it… couldn’t even be used as a shed … it leaks that much water …. walked in the next day and it was flooded ! Windows are not what I asked for , roof was not what I asked for , one of the entire walls was upside down ? No soffits , Facias we’re made from cut offs of the shiplap , the list goes on ! What a mess !

They admitted fault and promised they would come back and fix the issues x4 weeks in a row I was given a day/time for them to come back and they just never turned up. Still chasing them to this day !
Ignored phone calls texts emails … communication is shocking !
Gone through all legal action and they still ignore !!!

Caused nothing but stress/upset and affected my mental health massively !

How a company can do this to people is beyond me ! Thieves ! 🤬 !

Thieves. Do NOT use this company.
Ordered over £200 of 4x2. No delivery and we have been blocked on their only point of contact (Facebook messenger). No address or phone number available. Had only one message asking for an order number, which i provided. Then nothing. They will take your money then block you from all points of contact. Rogue traders operating APP scams (Authorised Push Payment).
Your positive reviews are suspect, (exaggerated wording from users with only 1 review to their name) You have been reported for fraud.

We had a very easy hassle free delivery from timber king, we were hesitant at first due to some reviews but using the pay on delivery option we thought there was nothing to lose. I have to say we were more than pleased, the timber is excellent quality at great prices and the driver was so pleasant and helpful.

We will be back soon for decking, always worth giving the benefit of the doubt as so many people will complain but not enough letting people know when they’re happy

After reading all the bad reviews I was hesitant to use Timber King. I opted with the pay on arrival option for reasons of doubt in confidence of supplier.
I placed the order late on a Wednesday night and had confirmation that night with a delivery date given to me that night too!
As the lead time was 5 days I expected 5 days as acceptable and planned my home working days around this… To find the deliver date was the Thursday! The very next day!
I contacted Timber king worried they won’t respond from the negative reviews to try and rearrange delivery date as I had meetings Thursday but was free the 5 days after!
The delivery was already planned in for the Thursday and couldn’t be amended. Upon me telling them I wouldn’t be there they informed me that the load can be delivered and the payment can be sorted when I’m home and have inspected the load.
I found the communication satisfactory and in line with usual running businesses responses.
The flexibility of payment is what I found brilliant also.
I will definitely be using these guys again and from looking back the dates of the bad reviews we were in a pandemic…. And this may reflect their bad reviews but my experience is a positive one!!

This could be a long one, but I'd like everyone to know about my experience....
I found Timber King through an advert on Facebook and their prices looked too good to be true. Like any sensible consumer, I then went to find their online reviews. I can't lie, many of the reviews (you have probably read them yourself if you're reading this) were completely awful!
So, let's be honest about reviews and recommendations - I am a tradesman and as much as I love to receive a positive review from a customer, it is quite difficult to get them to write one - whereas an unhappy customer is very quick to go online and voice their unhappiness.
So, I saw that paying cash on delivery was an option and thought "Well, what have I got to lose other than a bit of time?" If the delivery was short and incomplete on arrival, or the timber is of rubbish quality, I simply won't accept the delivery and send the driver on his way. I should probably point out that I messaged Timber King through facebook and told them exactly that and they didn't have a problem.
I enquired about the lead time and I received the order on the day they said I would - both the office and the driver kept me updated regarding where I sat on that days delivery route and gave me updates throughout the day.
I have to say that overall I am entirely satisfied with the price I paid, the delivery time and more importantly the product itself. Do not be put off by negative reviews, but do your own research. I will definitely be using these guys again without doubt. In addition, if anbody wants to verify this review I run Tip Taxi (Aylesbury) and can be contacted via Facebook.

Placed a large order for cls and 22 mm shiplap on Monday, had immediate confirmation of order and was delivered the next day, amazing as it states 5 day lead time, was going to pay cod but hadn’t even had a chance to get to the bank,contacted Timber King and left a message, was called back and told not to worry about payment until I had the delivery and was happy. Was sent the back info this morning and all paid up.
There have been some negative reviews about Timber King, but my experience has been that of great service and communication.
What’s even better is that the c16 is all straight as in the c24 and for the money this is by far the best shiplap that I have purchased. I will be going back in the future!

Ordered large custom summerhouse at the beginning of August with delivery and installation for end of August then the excuses started eventually they turned 21st of November and put the shed up but they were an aluminium double glazed window short and said they’d be back at the end of the week to fit it haha not heard anything else since and it’s now nearly Christmas and they’re just not replying to any messages or calls so I’ve got an £8000 summers house with a missing window,leaking roof or other problems so please beware this company wish I’d read these reviews before I ordered and paid

Absolutely terrible company. Tried to get a refund for months, said they had sent it but nothing was received. Luckily paid on credit card and raised a fraud case against them and got the money back. Can’t get a reply from them at all, absolutely disgusting customer service.

Ordered and paid via BACS (foolishly) for timber advertised as in stock on their website. Received SMS same day saying I would receive a delivery schedule within 72 hours. No further contact from company and no sign of timber. I have e-mailed, tried replying to texts and sent messages to their "preferred method of contact", Whatsapp without success. No address or phone numbers on their website DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Don’t bother
Complete waste of time. Won’t deliver or communicate. Luckily I choose cash on delivery so no lost money.
Biggest scam out there

Unfortunately I couldn’t put zero these goons don’t deserve our trade ordered shiplap 3 weeks ago no communication, sent numerous messages but still no reply after being read don’t waste your time there con artist take your payment and run lucky I chose to pay on delivery and lost no money.

Very pleased with our Summer House. The building is excellent and top quality, the installers brilliant. Only giving a 4 star instead of 5 star as some issues with communication initially. All in all we are very happy customers.

Overall a great experience. The service and response time to our questions were good and they delivered our building ahead of schedule.
After reading some of these reviews we can honestly say that we didn’t experience anything that made us feel it was a “scam” as some people have referred to.
Once we had set up a line of communication our questions (and we had a lot of them) were always answered. We even managed to schedule some phone conversations so that we could get clarification on the spec of the building.
The guys delivered at 7am as requested and the team was polite and worked to a time deadline that we had to set.
We felt that we had great service and overall value for money.

Not worthy of one star at all.

Ordered a building back in June 23rd to be precise. Paid deposit 40% like required date for installation 10th August.
Got to the 9th August no communication for the next day for myself to then contact to be met with

Hello, very sorry for the late reply. Sadly we are not at work this week because of covid in our installation teams. We will be in touch soon with a new plan for you installation. You should have been contacted prior to this. So sorry for the late response.

If you need your deposit refunded we can do this immediately, however we expect to get things sorted hopefuly with only a ten day delay.

So thoughts "fair enough this does happen" so i requested a call right away and to be fair "Tom" called me. Apologetic said not to listen to the reviews on here as he stated that theres been a massive timber shortage and some customers are understanding but those making a review clearly arent 😂.

New date then agreed for Saturday 21st was told someone would contact me the friday before..... Shock horror no contact so i chased again... And again.. Then to have a response on the friday (day before installation date again) to be told the 21st wasnt ok as he couldnt get hold of the team.... But the 28th was 100% ok. So i said fine last chance if you can promise the 28th is ok. Asked him again on the Saturday what's the plans who will contact me... Message read and ignored.... Messaged again tuesday ignored again then finally today 25/08 i get a message saying

Hello Rachael, have been out installing this week myself. Sorry for slow reply’s.

It won’t be this week.

However I do have it on for next Saturday 100%

We obviously would much prefer to install the building for you. But I do u understand the frustration.

Delays are due to our lead installer having a baby weeks earlier than expected. Which we have had to make new arrangements around.

But at least we know when he is back Monday we won't have any other problems.

If you do wish to cancel please email us why and request the refund process & the monies will be back on your card within 10 working days.

Yet again LET DOWN now 100% was for the 28/08 then now definitely next Saturday. This excuse was their main installer has had their child weeks earlier than expected. I mean if i excepted next Saturday what excuses would happen then? The dog or cats died?

Thankfully we opened a fraud case with our bank and got our money back within half a hour but some people might not be as lucky.

I would advise to strongly to stay clear of this company. Quick to take your deposit but contact, honesty and responsibility is SHOCKING and more than likely to not for fill your orders.

Pay more and go with a reputable company.

I only left 1 star because 0 was not an option !!!!! Avoid these goons like the plague. Empty promises, no response if there is any hint of a problem and NO DELIVERY!!!!!!!

UPDATE, 2 weeks gone by and no refund despite promises, now blocked me on messenger and will not answer email or left voicemails !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
