Yahoo is a scam

I've been using Yahoo mail for more than 20 years, now they signed me out and won't let me sign in back. Verification codes or anything they offer doesn't work. I just lost access to my e-mail with sensible info.

Scamming People

Something wierd is going on, I think they're scamming now. My Yahoo was all of a sudden logged out of emails through my Mac and I can't log back in. I call and they're trying to sell me a monthly subscription plan, but even getting technical help for recovering my account is $9 for each.

Yahoo is the most terrible piece of shit enterprise ever. For the last three months I have called repeatedly to see if I could get help accessing my Yahoo! account each time they tell me I have to verify my ID after a long strenuous and annoying process they tell me it can’t be verified due to something on my account not matching my ID telling me it is not possible to let me know what I can do to recover my account. I have no access to my old phone number which is what is required of me for a two-step verification if I don’t have access to my number how else do I get into my account if you guys can’t even tell me how to verify my account if my ID isn’t matching something on my account I’ve given you all the information I could possibly give you to verify that it’s me I do not recommend anybody ever using a yahoo email

Yahoo just lost $600,000+ in advertising revenue

My friends been locked out of his account because he won't update his telephone number for yahoo.

So in response as group financial director he's cancelled all future advertising with yahoo and any of their related companies.

Yahoo the next MTV

Like MTV, Yahoo is on its way to extinction. Yesterday the last (number 206) friend (who was a yahoo email user) we know gave up. They cannot now access their account unless they give Yahoo more personal information or pay for 'support services'.

So like the rest of us she's moved to another email supplier. Yahoo's day are now like MTV's numbered and its all their own fault.

Such a fall for what was a great company.

Outdated money grabbing mentality ruined it

Recent overhaul reduced the view of my inbox to a quarter of the screen, surrounded by advers. It is completely useless now, looks like a billboard or add section of a newspaper while I struggle with scrolling through my emails in a small rectangle in the middle. Time to move on and quit that relic, all other probiders are vetter and more user friendly.
