I made a purchase and did not receive my items. They did not return the money and stopped responding to my e-mails. The Facebook page has no messages from the public, are definitely deleted !!! The site does not exist, beautiful idea to extort money from customers !! Beautiful deal !!

I saw a deal where they were offering 10% discount while back, some time last year, I preordered Final Fantasy XV Limited Edition and Horizon Zero Dawn. So when I pay for the premium price for the special edition of the game, well look what happens ... they send me the regular edition, not the extra content, the special edition cover and box nothing... I send them various emails and correspondence via their own website...no reply nothing. Within the first 10 mins, after I opened the parcel I recorded a video and sent tweets to the company. Nothing. No response. But they were happy to promote other things for their website. Joke on me considering they took the money for all this, and only got 1 standard FFXV game, and nothing else. I never received Horizon Zero Dawn, waited two weeks after the game was released in the UK before I ordered it again via ShopTo store.
How the hell they got 4.4 rating, can only imagine they have their own employees create multiple fake accounts or fake reviews. I would consider legal actions considering the fact I have paid for products and services not received such products or services, as recommended by Citizen Advice Bureau, but judging from other reviewers and customers attempts there been no success in finding where they operate or who they are.
To sum up... SCAM PEOPLE... not ARTISTS because I would be giving these people too much credit. DO NOT BUY!!! If you ever need honest opinion of services or a company, always look to recent reviews. The fact the last five reviews on this site alone is negative, and others sites similarly negative to this company. JUST STAY AWAY DO NOT BUY.

I ordered 4 games back in 2013, i have since asked for a refund as i know longer had use for them.

Since this i contact trading standards which i never wanted to do, i have sent videogamebox a letter recorded delivery which i know got already, they currently have... 6 days to reply to me then i can go further if i wish.
I since been trying to contact them to send me my goods and i forget about the whole thing.
I have got screenshots of EVERYTHING i done, all my messages, all my messages i posted on facebook ( on their wall, which has since been deleted. ) The information of my account in orders and how it is pending. Some serious evidence.
DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY! once your order goes missing, you will never get a replacement or money back!

Update: That review was wrote in 2016 9th September, i got a reply from James ( or daniel huttchings) that apparently it was a 'system error' what a load of lies. but so, i deleted my review and thus was promised i would get my games on time, and have they? no, my account back then was 'deleted' after doing top review as stated got a reply and was quote 'If review is put as 5 stars I can send a £3 gift voucher.'
I have since replied to ALL known email, post, phone number nothing, i am hoping i get a reply like this again otherwise trading standards are at the bottom of how low i want to go. Lucky i kept all evidence, screenshots and emails, etc
UPDATE AGAIN.
Even under new management they ignore you. I have used 2 friend emails to talk to them and they replied to them within 1 day while i am still awaiting replies from over last 2 years. email around once per 2 week. once i revealed in the email my order number no reply was given.
Awaiting Refund
My order was placed and paid for on 11th October and was told by Video Game Box that it was on 'back order'. On 22nd October I cancelled and requested a refund. Over 2months later, numerous tickets and emails to which I've had no reply, I'm still waiting for my refund.

Before I purchased anything from this company, I messaged them due to the bad reviews to ask about their dispatch times on DLC downloads.I received a reply within 30mins, stating that it usually takes 15mins to email over. So I thought I'd trust them and order.
That was over 24hrs ago and I haven't heard a thing since or received my dlc code. I've messaged them several times using their website and contacted them via Facebook. Still no replies at all.
AVOID!!! They're either scamming people or just rude and don't care about their customers. How can it take longer than 10mins to email a code or even just reply if there is a problem. Idiots!
Terrible, inadequate service and lies!
I pre-ordered Batman Return to Arkham and in July there was a glitch to say that my order has been dispatched, even though the game wasn’t set to release until November. Video Game Box made no attempt to contact me to address this issue and I had to chance them up on it. It took them at least a week for them to reply (if they reply). So instead I took to Facebook to make sure that my pre-order still stands and that I will receive my game as scheduled (especially as VGB take payment at the time of order).
So taking their word, I believed that I would get my game come November. But as its release date drew near, I emailed them before release to make sure that my game will be dispatched. After finally getting a reply, they clearly did not read my email as they just replied that my game has been confirmed as dispatched. So I had to explain again the issue of that glitch that said my order had been dispatched months before its release and they told me to wait three more days before contacting them again.
So after waiting the days they asked for, knowing that my game won’t show, I emailed them to confirm that my game had not arrived. Surprisingly, I got not reply, so I had to resort to Twitter and Facebook to get a answer. As my issue was made public, miraculously they replied much sooner than before. After chasing them up continually, I finally got my game nearly a week later then I should have done.
This was my first time shopping with Video Game Box and they’ve easily made the worst first impression that I’ve ever encountered with an online retailer. So in an attempt to gain back my trust, they emailed me to say that gift credit has been applied to my account. Bearing in mind that following me exposing them on social media, they were quite responsive at this point. But when I asked them when this credit will be applied to my account, suddenly contact went dead.
I was promised this credit for all the inconvenience caused on November 26th and I’m still waiting. They’ve not relied to my email or via the Facebook message that I sent them. All for something they offered me as a gesture of goodwill, obviously this was a big lie on their part.
It just baffles me that I had to make this company aware of the dispatch glitch and despite having 3 months to fix it, they never even attempted to. I had to continually chance them up for updates and to get the game that I had paid for, which still managed to arrive a week late and I bet if I never chased them up on this, I would never had got my game, because I doubt they would have made such an effort. Then to top it all off, they offered me gift credit, something that they clearly had no intention of fulfilling.
This is the first and last time I will ever buy from Video Game Box again, and I have never encountered such an ignorant, deceiving level of customer service. Even if a product may seem to be at a good price, I urge you to pay the extra few quid elsewhere, because if they make an error, you will have to fight every tooth and nail to get what you paid for. Avoid at all costs.

After placing my order for a Playstation 4 game that was meant to be in stock, I got told that it was actually on back order. I waited a couple of months until I eventually had to say could I please have my order cancelled and have a refund. Order was cancelled, no sign of a refund and they won't reply to my messages. Please listen to everyone and stay away and if you do order from them at least pay with paypal and don't make the mistake I made.

Rip off and poor company
I have preorder 2 games from Videogame box have received one but the other I have no idea if it will arrive tomorrow (BF1). The company is run by a man called Dan Hutchings from the Wirral. I have emailed him as his mobile number is part of the transaction with my bank . Check your order date transaction . Put the number in on google and he comes up at a tennis club in Wallasey phone and email.
I emailed him but apparently the business has been sold to someone else. I don't believe that at all. He's registered on LinkedIn as the owner and various other business he runs. If the business is going under I'd have more sympathy and get a refund correctly but this is a failed sham of a business and any comments on the FB page are deleted immediately. DONT BUY

I have ordered a few times from videogamebox & l have to say l have had no bother with them at all,From the cheapish pre order deals which most of the times are the cheapest.I have found a good service,from receiving the items l ordered l can honestly say l would buy again from them.Yes l have read other reviews & maybe l am a lucky one but l can only go on my experience with them.All items l have ordered have arrived,one was the day after release date but for the good pre order price l payed l don't mind.
Maybe with other peoples issues videogamebox will listen & take things on board so the company can take credit when its due but on my own experience l will be definitely buying again from them,

Avoid - Professional Crooks - Don't give them your money.
You see an item on their website. Decent price. In stock. You go to buy. They take payment.
2 weeks pass, no item nor any emails from them.
You write to them - 1 week later you get a response. You wait 1 week more and still nothing.
You write to them AGAIN - 1 week on, nothing. They're deleting posts on facebook at this point.
You write to them yet AGAIN - 1 week on they have no record of you and still no items.
6 weeks now and I'm no further.
At this point I'm claiming a refund through paypal and taking them to the retail ombudsmen. It's clear they're listing a tonne of items for sale that they don't actually have and conning a lot of people out of their money.
