I have had to return and refund some of them, because they were either unsuitable or didn't fit, via prepaid return label with Royal Mail. I was still partially refunded (deduction of £2.99 per returned product + non refundable postage) even though the dresses were wrinkled from trying on; when I email contacted about unsuitable purchases, I received kind apology as well, plus kindly answered my question about return label (return label included in parcel with purchases, so unnecessary to print 1, unless 1 loses it).

As a fan of Disney Moana, I went shopping online for the Singing Necklace (which sings the iconic How Far I'll Go by Auli'i Cravalho). I researched online and noticed there were different packaging designs, but product (which has existed since November 2016, according to Amazon UK) is the same.

Unfortunately, the Disney Store and Amazon were out of stock of this product (UK sites of both retailers. There were no marketplace sellers on Amazon offering this.), so I bought from here instead (date of purchase was 16th October 2023).

I was then sent an email stating that my order is expected to dispatch no later than 14th November, due to product being imported. I had received kind and helpful emails about the order process (1 received from Lyla on 20th October and the other on 30th from Josh), which were very much appreciated and kept me in the know. Josh even kindly put my order at the front of the queue, plus upgraded the postage to Royal Mail Tracked 24 when purchase arrived in UK.

The product page shows what the packaging looks like from front, plus an image showing how it looks when detached from that. The product purchased was received exactly as shown and described. Product arrived in a small, sturdy and taped cardboard box. The order process was only 2 weeks from purchase to receipt.

The product and pre installed and included AG3 batteries work great.

UPDATE: I would like to express further my dissatisfaction with Shaw Trust. They are one of the reasons my mental health has deteriorated. Added more explanations for what went wrong. I have not contacted the email in response to this review at the moment.

In a previous phone appointment with Shaw Trust, I was asked if I am finding the Work and Health Programme helpful or not. I answered yes, but nothing in particular. I am questioning whether it is worth remaining with them or not, but at the same time, I have concern about negative repercussion if I were to explain to Job Centre about me not being in programme anymore. I was informed that the programme is intensive and requires engagement from me. Unfortunately, the person who I talked to speculated that I am not all engaged with it. This was because she noticed and brought up missed appointments earlier in the year, none of which were my fault. I was asked why I missed appointments and answered that I was not informed of these at all. I explained that I was being contacted by phone at random days and times (something which I did not like, but I never mentioned this in my reply). I found it frustrating when she said "I don't know if there was something wrong with your phone or other things." or something to that effect. I do find it frustrating that the Job Centre staff require benefit claimants like me to sign up for the programme, instead of deciding myself.

Something else that has bothered me this week was I received an email from Work and Health Programme about an invitation to attend bank buildings. The person who wrote and sent the email said I am invited, but in a subsequent paragraph she said that the thing will be set as an appointment, as if it is compulsory for me to attend. It has definitely frustrated me and as of me writing this email, I still have not replied to confirm attendance, due to the unpredictability of my health. I have copied and pasted the email below.

I had a scheduled WHP phone appointment about this message I received last week when I was out and about. I knew what the appointment was going to be about and got told off for non-attendance because I explained the reason of contradiction and I couldn't cope with that change. The message said invited, but a different sentence afterwards says that my attendance is required. I unintentionally made myself look bad and this might be passed to my work coach. It was considered important for me to attend, but they just didn't word the message correctly and I have been told that lots of people attended. I have been given the decision to be put forward with the job or not. I also came across as not talkative because I had long silences and was really upset I was talked down to. It is a job that requires lots of communication. The other person said something about "don't waste the employer's time". I was also advised if I have problem understanding an email, I am just supposed to say so by contacting, something which I was not able to do to begin with, because the contradiction made me unable to cope.

Chillout Games are always excellent for video game shopping. I highly recommend this company regardless if you are buying from them by Amazon, eBay or their website. 5 stars.

Victim of eBay scam

Dear reader,

I recently fell victim to eBay scam. I was shopping around for a Sony PlayStation 4 Pro console and found an auction listing. The listing's description mentioned what was included. At the end of the description, the seller (who was a new user, supposedly) had more than one available in possession and to make an offer to buy it now with eBay messaging, whilst the auction for the other console ends normally with bids. I contacted the seller with an offer and we managed to successfully work something out. The seller asked that I pay using PayPal with the 'send to friends and family' option, instead of the eBay checkout process to avoid the 21 day funds hold and eBay's/PayPal's fees. This sounded like a good idea and I happily agreed to pay the amount of money I offered in my initial message with the seller. The seller confirmed the amount paid into PayPal by messaging me back by eBay message and would then (supposedly) send the following morning. I thought I was genuinely getting a console considering the amount I paid, until later I realized that I have been taken for a ride, as the seller refused to reply with a tracking number. The seller has also become unregistered on eBay.

I disputed the transaction on PayPal, but I could only open a dispute it with 'unauthorised activity' which certainly did not match my circumstance. PayPal have refused to help and have closed the case because they thought there was nothing wrong with my account security (obviously not, because I was the one who sent payment to the seller and no one knows the password, except me, and the fact that I only had one reason to choose from when disputing.) eBay could not help with this either because there is no record of the transaction in purchase history because I completed the transaction as described above.

The money that was once in my PayPal account is now (probably, if not certainly) gone for good. PayPal cannot recover the money because this did not fall under goods and services and the fact that I never paid with eBay checkout. I am very upset as a result.

Please send any amount of money regardless of currency to my PayPal link below and this will be really appreciated. I have now learnt a massive lesson and will advise for others to be wary of these sellers on eBay and other sites.

I wanted to purchase Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS4 again because I sold it earlier in the year. I was easily able to buy the game again from this site. Will be happy to buy from again.

I managed to get myself a payout to my PayPal and then had another payout remaining to be claimed. Got banned before I could redeem it because of my answers being considered a lie!

This survey site takes ages for your survey points to be approved and green. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE TO STRAIGHT AFTER COMPLETING A SURVEY, NOT 2 WEEKS AFTER!

Not only that, it is also very frustrating and inconsistent because you can be partially paid for a survey if it is not suitable for you, whereas, you won't get any payment if the survey is closed. The latter being the more annoying thing about surveys on here because you don't know if it's closed until you answer a few questions and just being a waste of time. I can totally imagine some shouting at their computers when this happens! THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE AS WELL!

Another thing with this site is that you have to tick 3 boxes every time you find a new survey available that says that you have to agree not to rush etc. This gets annoying after a while considering that none of the other survey sites are like this. ANOTHER THING THAT NEEDS CHANGING!

Recently, I have had multiple times in a row where surveys are not suitable or closed and there is no payment for this. This gets me frustrated because knowing the fact I won't be paid anything because of one of the two reasons kills me the most. Also, on the home page after you log in to your account, when you try and find a new survey, there are no surveys available. And when there is a survey, it is one that has closed ages before! How is it my fault that I didn't get to the survey sooner? I have to do other things in life + you keep saying that there are no surveys available? HOW IS THIS MY FAULT!? It is honestly stupid and wastes your time by asking a few questions and then closing the door really hard in your face, not getting any payment in that same moment and getting away with the answers I gave. YOU SHOULD PAY YOUR MEMBERS THE FULL AMOUNT ANYWAY IF THE SURVEY IS NOT SUITABLE OR CLOSED! I TOOK THE TIME AND EFFORT TO GET ONTO THE SURVEY SO I FEEL THAT I AM ELIGIBLE FOR FULL PAYMENT FROM THAT PARTICULAR SURVEY! This site does not care about opinions at all. They only care about factual information! I just want to be done with this site as soon as I get another Amazon e gift card payout because this is unacceptable! I'm a person who gets angry a lot and I can definitely say that this is not worth your anger! You are better off buying Amazon cards from shops in your area! You are literally made fools of and being treated like simpletons when you don't get paid! The slogan 'Rewarding time' isn't exactly true in conclusion!
