SHOWPLATES Avoid at all costs! Ordered number plates as advertised with next day delivery (arrived over a week & half later) didn’t respond to advertised contact details email or phone on queries! Until I logged a refund with PayPal (amazing) still very rude, told me delivery isn’t there issue and nothing they can do! No offer refund as I ordered with hope they were arriving day after. Needed plates to sell a car ended up going elsewhere. Plates eventually arrived too late and poor quality! Avoid at all costs and the companies located in Jersey. Very poor customer service.

Cheap and nasty plates. Can’t give a zero star rating. Printed on the front not the reverse. Will be going straight in the bin and the company isn’t interested.

If there were a 0 it’s what I’d give them. I have never had emails from a company, so argumentative and very rude, but after now reading the other reviews it makes sense. I ordered my plates (granted after the cut off point) I was expecting them to be dispatched the next working day.. so I would be receiving them a couple of days after that, knowing Hermes deliver on a Saturday. But still no dispatch email, or tracking info until I found alternative email and asked if they had been dispatched! They asked me not to email them but to go through the email address provided on the page. I explained i had emailed twice and had no answer. If they couldn’t give me confirmation of dispatch I would be opening a dispute with PayPal and asking for a refund. Needless to say 12 hours later I received an email from Hermes with tracking information on. On the Monday I had a keyboard warrior email over 3 times, basically being argumentative and pointing out how wrong I were. Very unprofessional indeed! ( I had to block show plates email address in the end) I only ordered from here because I was under the impression they would be here for the weekend.. should have stuck to Angel plates.

I ordered number plates yesterday as they because they advertise SAME DAY DELIVERY, 90% delivered next day. I paid extra for the courier service, they now tell me orders REALLY take 2-3 DAYS for delivery.
Misleading and terrible service with overpriced delivery costs.
Try My Show plates, a much cheaper and better company.

Ordered front number plate when I went to fit the plate and drilled holes to screw to bumper the plate delaminated around the hole so basically a faulty plate because the other hole is fine, I contacted the company and got very little help to be honest customer service terrible and now I'm left with a number plate thats will let water in so won't be using this company again and other people should beware

The website will happily allow you to enter your plate details, take your payment, sending an automated message out to you that was all i ever received! Promises of next day deliveries if ordered before a certain time are more than misleading! having waited ten days with no sign of my plates emailing regularly (as there are no direct phone options or an address to mail to) in an attempt for the company to engage me and let me know what was happening all i received were further automated responses which made me even angrier!!
Luckily i had made the purchase via paypal and managed to get a full refund.
If you are looking at this site and thinking of using them my advice would be dont! I rarely leave reviews and am never usually one to moan but this company were terrible and never acknowledged my complaint once let alone looked to resolve it.

Shocking - I wouldn't even give this company a 1 star.
I have used this company for many years and the last 3 or 4 rear plates that have received developed bubbling and cracking where water has seeped in between the plastic and the acrylic. I raised this multiple times with detailed photo's. After 6 weeks they told me they were just out of warranty as I reported this after 18 months. You would expect the plates to last more than 18 months. They now need to be binned as they look terrible. Do not use the company please.

No communication and impossible to talk to a human being, had to wait three weeks just for an email.

Received plates as purchased back in February. Within a week or two of fitting them water started getting between the film and the acrylic. Have emailed company, phoned requesting a response and here we are 8 months later and NOTHING .. no response whatsoever. Plates are now so distorted they need changing ( can't be read by ANPR).... AVOID this company, stick to Halfords

Ordered plates two weeks later still not arrived , three emails all unanswered , no phone to contact them , pretty sure it’s a scam don’t use .

If given the chance I wouldn’t have even given one star.
Happy to take your money offer same day dispatch yet a week later no sign of the product!
I have emailed their customer contact email everyday and have yet to receive any for of acknowledgement or response.
I’ve been caught by them, to anyone reading this LOOK ELSEWHERE! I’m sure there a better companies than this to purchase through........just wish I had looked into it before ordering.

Zero stars!! Awful quality plates and after acknowledging my email and requesting photographs of the plates, they then ignored me. Poor customer service and at this price it is more about principles (of which this company has none!). Waste of time.

Ordered 3D plates and they are a joke. I could create better plates. Asked to return them and no such thing as returns, i would avoid.

The plates that I order from so called Numberplates Direct so far failed to arrived. I'm seeking a rufund, but I don't expect I will get one so i've made steps to reverse the transaction through my credit card co.
I suspect all the "I can't belive the negative reviews" post were actually posted by personnel of the company themselves. An example of why trusting online companies like this should be AVOIDED at all costs.

Bought legal (personal number) plates 18 months ago and just in the process of changing the car. Took the plates off the old car and they're delaminating.

There was a minor problem with my order, but they sent a replacement plate out 24hr delivery - no quibbles, no arguments.

The quality of a company stands out when things go wrong, and I would be more than happy to use them again.

Really good quality very happy with the result and quick delivery !

This company fall out of the Law on legal number plates by claiming that they are only "show" plates. What a joke. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

"Same day dispatch" means they will send you a tracking number, and then sit on the parcel for 3 days before handing it over to Royal Mail. It is NOT a same day dispatch!
The quality is appalling!!! Air bubbles and a very thin coating layer that no doubt will start peeling within a few weeks.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
