Absolutely garbage

Absolutely garbage, don’t waste your time or money this is all Temu quality items. The unit died after 3 uses and the company was contacted for a replacement. They requested a video of the unit showing it failing to function which i supplied. They did not reply to this at all and when I contact their support team they just keep sending the same email I’m assuming it’s a bot and this company is ran by most probably 1 person with heaps of AI fake reviews to boost it up. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Never again

Recovery Zone’s first response to my faulty Ice Barrel was to ask if I had used the included glue repair kit — despite it being brand new and not holding air. I also returned the brand new chiller and was unfairly charged $190 for allegedly damaged hoses. Poor handling and disappointing service. Luckily my bank stepped in when I questioned their practices under Australian Consumer Law. I have lodged a complain with Fair Trading as well. For some reason I am unable to leave a review on their website which says a lot about the actual reviews on their website.

Faulty Unit, Delayed Support, and Now More Defects

I don’t usually leave reviews, but after this experience, I feel obligated to warn others.

I purchased the Recovery Zone Ultra Tub and Smart Chiller with high expectations. What I received instead was a non-functional system, two separate product failures, and an exhausting, weeks-long support saga that still hasn’t been resolved.

Issue 1 – Faulty Chiller:
The first Smart Chiller arrived and failed immediately — throwing E2 pump errors on day one. I followed every single troubleshooting step they sent: disconnected hoses, filmed the control screen, opened the unit, even drained water into buckets on camera. I sent multiple videos to meet very specific requests. Despite doing far more than any reasonable customer should be expected to, it took weeks before they finally admitted the fault (a bad flow switch) and agreed to send a replacement. That alone was a nightmare of delays, missed deadlines, and stalling.

Issue 2 – Faulty Tub:
The replacement chiller finally arrived, but within 24 hours, the tub itself failed. During the very first water drain, the brass outlet fitting popped completely out of the rubber port. It’s not a screw thread — just press-fit into the rubber — and it can’t be reinserted. The tub is now completely unusable. I also noticed there was a small leak from that same port from day one, which I had initially dismissed. Turns out the fitting was never secure to begin with.

I reported this second fault to support immediately and sent photos — it’s now been more than 3 days with no resolution. Just vague promises that it’s “being looked into.”

To make things worse, I left an honest review on their website via their automated Judge.me request — and it seems to have quietly disappeared. That tells you everything you need to know about their transparency.

---

Final verdict:

I've now received two faulty units. I’ve spent over a month troubleshooting and chasing responses, and I still don’t have a working system. For a premium-priced product, this is utterly unacceptable. Recovery Zone has wasted my time, tested my patience, and failed at basic product quality control.

Unless you're willing to gamble with your time, money, and sanity, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Awful experience. Product cracks & fails

Awful experience. Company hides behind a lovely website & Facebook targeted ads offering discounts on items to lure you in.

When the product arrives the quality is terrible. My XL steamer lid failed immediately within the first few weeks. The heat of the steamer cracked the lid into many pieces causing the device to not retain steam therefore not work.

I reached out the the team & after 2-3 weeks of back & forth the lid was replaced at no cost.

The replacement lid took weeks to arrive & when it did it also failed after the 2nd use. Again, cracks and unable to use any further.

It’s now been 3-4 weeks of back & forth. Hannah the customer service person only answers emails once a week and has suggested the free lid was a one time offer. A gesture of goodwill?

Her response was for me to purchase a new lid at 50% discount.

I’m sorry, but asking me to pay for something that continues to fail is not good enough. It’s expected the product would last longer than a few uses. This is not good customer service.

Consumers have a legal right that when you buy something, it’s expected to work.

In the car industry we call your product a lemon.

Cheap, Chinese quality products that fail. Backed up by a team that work part time & give zero customer service.

After turning down the additional lid at my expense, I have requested a refund

Guess what? Surprise surprise Hannah is now not responding to my emails in over 1-2 weeks.

Don’t waste your energy or time with this business. Small claims court here we come.

And lastly, Hannah, if you have any ethics at all. You will sort this out & process the refund.

Dodgy Products of poor quality

Dodgy Products of poor quality and then when they break, the customer "service" team uses stalling, denying, gaslighting tactics to avoid taking any accountability and then refuse refunds. No contact number on their website and customer service refuses to give you one. Email replies are slow and customer "service" is almost non existent. Their website doesnt allow bad reviews and I question whether the ones they have are real based on this site gaining traction. In case anyone does want a number its 0435353696 however the phone never answers as you'd fully expect with most shady companies

Don't buy

Don't buy.

You have to pay for the return, and they take their postage fee out of the refund (if they refund you).

They are a slimy company who sell poor quality products. Glad to see someone went to the ombudsman this type of business is rubbish.

Wish I never bought it, wasted all the time dealing with customer service, sending it back etc. Sigh.

Recovryzone - Absolute junk product and materials

Absolute junk product and materials. Used 4 times and base plastic tore (it’s so thin and not up to an ice bath standard). Sent back for refund within their 100 days policy. They claimed it was wear and tear. Cost $60 of our money to return, offered “refurbishment”. Quality is probably better on temu. Don’t waste your $300. You can’t leave a review on their site, they’re likely all fake 5 star reviews. Rubbish.

Purchased the ice bath pro with the…

Purchased the ice bath pro with the cooling attachment. Not only did it say “in stock” but took 7 weeks to receive the machine part to attach.
Once we finally did receive this we attempted the straight forward setup and drove ourselves insane as the attachments were not fitting in the holes of the tub. Not only this, we come to realise the attachment hoses were not actually sent with the setup so we can’t use it at all.
Send video’s, photos etc to customer care (which took multiple days of re emailing for a response) to get a response of they don’t actually sell the attachment hoses so they will give us the measurements to go outsource our own!
Absolutely appalling, emailed within 5 hours of receiving the final
Part of the setup and this is all they could offer as a resolution despite this being their fault and the items not being able to be used.
Will not be purchasing from them ever again!

Faulty porducts, refused to refund.

Appalling customer service and less than sub par products. Total scam, would not purhcase if I were you.

I would give less than one star if possible. I purchased an ice bath from this scam company. Their website states that if you do not like their roducts you have a 100 day money back guarantee. It's been 30 days and my ice bath and torn from the side, leaking all over my gym floor.
Prior to this the inflatable tubing began to over inflate on one side, posing a safety risk if it decides to pop. The tube than began deflating by itself within hours of being inflated. This only after 30 days, the product is of course unusable.

I detailed the issues to the ocmpany in an email, requesting a refund. I was told they would need to inspect the item to determine if it was a manufacturing fault and then we would offer a replacement or partial refund. What a complete joke.

To toll me they need to investigate if it's a manufacturing error? I'm not sure how they would determine if a tear was a manufacturing error or not. Seems obvious given the sole purpose of the product is to hold water and it failed at doing so 30 days in.

They will do anything to not refund you for their poorly made and overpriced junk products. I've had to contact the ombudsman. Do not use this company, ever.
