I have told this company numerous times that I no longer have a computer so don't need PC cleaner.
They have used pressure for me to renew by sending emails trying to get me to pay.
Don't use them if you don't want pressure sales.

have subscribed for 1 month to test and get rid of broken registry entries. it cleaned that up but also broke a whole bunch of other applications, such as windows notepad and my browser firefox. had to reinstall them.
unfortunately, pc cleaner appearently also does an automatic clean every few days. it started an automatic clean 3 days after purchase / installation, which killed my browser and notepad again. i can imagine there are more broken programs on my pc now... and i even went in to tell it manually what to clean up and what to keep, but the options are rather vague "bullet points".
this is the reason why i uninstalled and canceled my subscription. pc cleaner is like an overzealous cleaning lady: if your stuff doesn't look important enough, it's going in the trash.

First off I would give them 5 stars except they took $48.90 out of my checking account twice on the same day of April 7, 2025 under the name PCHelpsSoftware.com. I live on $500 a month after house payment, gas, and groceries, auto insurance. So even $48.90 is 10% of my discretionary spending. That buys a lot of beer.

Bought this a few days ago for one month trial at £6.99 but they actually took £11.99 and every time I run it to clean my PC they ask for more money. this is despite registering and using the licence key. Read the other views on here - it is a scam and apparently offers nothing that Windows already covers.

following in suit with majority of software companies these days. numerous advertisments that this and that is free. just putting it out there the only free thing with this software is they do not charge to install. absolutely everything else is paid... id of bought it had it not lied. if they have to lie to get download figures then makes people wonder what else is fake

They claimed to be PC cleaner but in reality its opposite of that claim.

How can a company go from good to poor?

I have used this company before. Never had problems with it and the software worked quite well. It had more features than many others. I got a notification that my drivers needed upgrading and decided to go to PC Cleaner to get the driver software. I had a question to ask support and chatted with them. At first, I was connected and asked my question, then transferred to another support person. I was asked if they would like them to do the full installation and license it. Since I trusted them previously, I thought while I was on the chat, to do it. They did take control but they asked me to delete anything on the desktop that could be sensitive, which I did. There was quite a delay when the remote window finally appeared. More delay and then a window appeared which showed that my computer was down to 10% from 100% of performance and I did see the drop. They asked me for them to repair it. I asked them if there is a cost to do it. Oh yes, there was and it was an unreal amount of six months of guaranteed service or a special for a year service. I told them NO but they kept at it for a time. I immediately cut them off and rebooted my computer. Strange things started to happen. I was receiving flags from them and found that my computer started to act strangely. Web pages were flipping back and forth and immediately tried to uninstall pc cleaner and a flag popped up that if I did, all my files would be encrypted and not be able to retrieve them. I never heard such a thing. I also tried with another uninstaller and the same message came up and I did uninstall the program. I was checking my files most all of my pictures and many documents were deleted. I also checked the cloud and much of my data is gone. My question is, how can a legit company that has been around for so many years, have done this? Does corporate even know this is happening? I know it is a long story but I had to tell it. I know that from now on, I will do everything, myself.

I bought a license key, but every month I get a notification, that my license has expired. I contacted them numerous times, and they gave me a new key, that may work for two months, then the story repeats. It is annoying and don't bother investing a cent, as there are more troubles than benefits!!!

I recently purchased and downloaded a 5 licence copy of this application. The product, seemingly, worked well on the first PC; however, the product (scan) seizes whilst it attempts to undertake a scan of the Com/ActiveX Files. It will not pass approximately 80% of the scan within the Com/ActiveX file registry and seizes completely. Unfortunately, the level of support that I've attempted to enlist has failed. When I ring the Sydney (Australia) nominated support number, I am constantly greeted with a message that the call centre is closed and to call back between XX and YY Hours Eastern Standard Time. It is never answered so I have a product that fails to meet my expectations and requirements. I am at a loss in terms of seeking to achieve a beneficial outcome.

would give then ZERO stars! purchased a month to get an error that was on my computer, I was charged 15.99 instead of 9.99, office is in london and I am on the west coast of the US. I cant get a refund unless I talk to someone in London, their office hours would require me to be up before 3am to contact them! OH yeah the PC cleaner sis not work!

Bought a PC Cleaner for 12 months, Required to spend even more money to activate PCCleaner.
AVOID AS THIS COMPANY DO NOT PROVIDE ANYTHING FOR YOUR INITIAL PAYMENT OTHER THAN A REQUIREMENT TO SPEND EVEN MORE ON A MONTHLY BASIS.

I have used CC Cleaner for more than 10 Years,
when I initially bought it I bought the Professional version with life updates no problem for so many Years. in 2022 all of a sudden it expired. This Company became dishonest and corrupted.
