I reported a broken railing on my housing estate that is managed by Meadfleet. The broken railing exposed a large drop into a river causing a danger to children and pets. Meadfleet fixed the issue within a couple of weeks and even let me know personally that they had sorted it. Much quicker than I had expected.

Excellent service from the new Regional Manager Jake Davies when we needed to contact about maintenance of a grassed area near to our home. He was in touch the next day and arranged for contractors to cut the area within 2 weeks and gave me an overview of his plans for the estate after recently taking over responsibility for the estate

I emailed Meadfleet to request that a hedge be cut back due to it overhanging and scratching my car in the car park. Jake Davies (Regional Manager) arranged for the contractor to come out and cut this back within the month. Excellent customer service.

Responsible for an estate where the ground they dont maintain looks better than the ground they do!
No transparency of costs, and wildly expensive overheads for managers that dont do anything

Fantastic company and the lady who creates the newsletter always makes it really interesting and gives much focus on improving the environment and people who are doing their bit to improve the environment. It took a little while to receive a reply and I was pleased to hear that I had overpaid. I was given a few options & chose to receive a partial refund.
3 stars given as I feel Meadfleet should have already been aware of my standing order and I am still awaiting my refund.
Despite this, communication with the team was prompt, professional, courteous & efficient.

Meadfleet have given a terrible service at our estate in Mansfield for over 5 years.
They have never given a good service.
They do not reply to concerns and then do Not Respond to criticism of the quality of work. Many in the estate have written to complain but get no reply from management.

This company is absolutely shocking!
I would strongly advise avoiding them at all costs. They are supposed to be an award-winning company, but my experience has been completely different. It was a complete waste of money.

This company is absolutely awful and arrogant. They’ve received numerous complaints from the same development, yet they persist in claiming everything is neat and tidy. Even the MD insists on this, but he obviously hasn’t visited the development in person because it’s far from neat and tidy. Weeds are everywhere, and the so-called ‘Meadow Land’ is now at least 60%. He doesn’t even have the courage to put his email on the letter. Do we really have to remind him that ‘neat and tidy’ is in their contract.
Apparently, there’s also some fly tipping. I walk my dog around the development, and the only fly tipping I can find is by Meadfleet’s contractors. They’ve dumped all the grass cuttings around the edge of the park, claiming it’s good for the insects. What a joke! They work harder at doing nothing than actually doing the job we pay them for.
They claim it’s all done to the approved plan, but who approved this plan it certainly wasn’t the residents because this plan was never shown to them at any point during their conveyance and completion. So, that would mean an incomplete contract, which is invalid.
Any decent company would try to make their customers happy, but they just fight with them.

I'm not impressed by Meadfleet as a company. The bills we receive aren’t clear (there is very little detail), so it’s difficult to know exactly what we’re paying for. Costs keep increasing above inflation, yet there’s no clear explanation for why this is happening.
There’s also a lack of transparency around their services and the contract. For instance, Meadfleet hasn’t provided a proper map of the area they actually manage. This has caused confusion, especially as we were originally given a different map by Davidson’s Homes. Shouldn't something like this be readably available for all residents who are paying for the service?
For a company managing estates, I would expect a much higher standard. If I was paying for any other service in any other sector, I would expect to know what I was paying for. Residents invest a lot in their homes and already pay a sizeable fee, so clarity and accountability should be the minimum standard. Hill Top estate.
