A+ rating to Emma Mills, the sales rep, promp..courteous, and knowledgeable...A+ rating to the 2 guys that installed LeafFilters on my garage and two story home...they arrived on time, answered all my questions and cleaned up the debris...it was a pleasant experience..

Portland Maine, LeafFilter is very good about making the sale, but they do not provide expertise about where to put down spouts and therefore you have more water towards your home than without the gutters.

They have limited follow through on getting back to you if you have concerns. No support! Terrible company to work with after they install your gutters. They do not care after the sale.

I can't believe I fell for this scam!! The first quote they gave me was so high I could have built an additional room onto my house!!! After negotiating the price down to half I agreed. They have only been on my house since July 2025 and I can see debris stuck in them already! The price is outrageous, and so far the product sucks!!!

Your crew showed up on Saturday as promised and installed my gutter guards. I’m very happy and glad I made the choice to protect my house. Thank You very much, Dennis R. Kisor Hillsboro, Ore.

The installation team of Ryan&Kerzie showed up a little late, however they went right to it and finished in about 3 hours. [250 feet of gutter]

Clean up was great

I am the owner of the LeafFilter Gutter Protection System, I purchased the system in 2020. The salesman provided me with an Illustration showing an asphalt shingle roof where the system had been installed, I noticed that the shingles were either flush with or maybe an 1/4 inch overhang into the gutter. Knowing that my shingles were 1-1/8 to 1-1/4 inch overhang, I asked the salesman about them, his reply was; if the Installer feels they need to be trimmed he will trim them at installation, no shingles were trimmed. Later I observed water running over the gutters during moderate to heavy rainfall, especially in the Valley areas. After contacting LeafFilter, they installed what they called "Splash Guards" onto the back of the gutters at the bottom of the valleys to divert water to either side but found they were collecting all kinds of debris, thereby having to remove them. Later an inspector was sent out to inspect the shingles and system, who stated that all shingles needed to be trimmed and that the holes in the screen of the system at the valleys needed to be larger, whereby they would handle the huge runoffs. LeafFilter agreed to do the work but were going to charge me a fee, which I refused. I felt that they should be doing a right to correct a wrong at their expense. Upon the salesman's arrival he quoted me a price for the system at $6,784.00, then $6,105.00, $5,189.00. $3,500.00 and $3,248.000, which I agreed to. I saw he was desperate to make a sale and seeing I was an elderly man thought I would fall for his scam but soon found out differently. I wonder how many elderly people in particular, have been taken advantage of by this scam. I am part of the Class Action Lawsuit for debris accumulation and have received three vouchers for three cleanings, two of which have been redeemed. Their cleanings consist of sweeping and blowing debris from the top of the gutters, it does not remove the gooey, tar like substance created from the sap from debris that has accumulated under the shingle overhang and inside the gutters. It is felt that within a short period of time the system should be removed and the interior of the gutters thoroughly cleaned of all of such substance.

I was recovering from knee replacements and decided money limited I would just install the filters on my current gutter. They promised to clean and repair my gutters so that there would be NO problems, they would look as good as new etc etc etc... none of that was true. Here I am older and weaker and having to clean up around the broken and dripping gutters that look as bad as when I priced the job. I have even tried multiple times to get a Leaf Filter rep to come out and look. They just keep ignoring me and with my age and problems here I am just over 2 years later with gutters no better than they were when I hired the team. Another thing I found was this company contracts out their work and though they say it is guaranteed... it does NOT seem to be since they never came no matter how many times I called.
Look up LeafGuard and check them out, those I installed in the late 1990's look as good today as the day I installed them!!

How anybody can agree to have this done is beyond comprehension for me. I live in a single wide mobile home in Westmoreland county... My gutters are in really good shape and I don't have any problems. I did some research online one night about how to keep rain water away from my home because I have a serious rain run off issue that the corporation who owns my mobile home park will do nothing about.... so when I filled my information in, it was for low income families who needed helped with maintenance. I never scheduled with leaffitter but somehow that's who ended up showing up at my house... I decided that I would get a free estimate anyways because I hate cleaning the leaves from my gutters. I have two small children and it is hard to get those things done. When the guy handed me the paper with the quote on it and I saw that the entire cost would be close to 8k I laughed at him and told him to have a good day. 8k dollars to gutterguard a single wide trailer!? Get out of town! Anybody that pays an astronomical price like that doesn't deserve to have access to money. That is absolutely ridiculous. If I lived in a huge house, it probably would've cost around 30k... This company is a waste. If you can afford it, by all means throw your money away. I ended up designing my own gutters guards and I did my entire house for less than $50 & they work incredibly well... 8k for a single wide trailer in Westmoreland county is absolutely insane.

On September 2, 2025 Benjamin Cortez a Leaf Filter salesman came to my home to sell Leaf Filter's. His customer service was superb and was very professional. In a timely manner the installer was out the next morning and doing the installation and he was very courteous. I have had no problems with the filter's they have been wonderful and no work for me so far. The pricing was fair. I would highly recommending anyone getting Leaf Filters for their home.

Sooo impressed with the workers for LeafFilter.

Following the instalation, there was a leak but as soon as I contacted the company they quickly addressed the issue. John, the manager, sent Joe and Jim, who took care of the problem but noticed the screen was exposed on the gutter of the patio. John sent out Taylor the next day to evaluate. He was friendly and helpful and agreed to have John contact Pedro who was the installer.

Can't say enough about Pedro and the corporate national company-you feel like you are dealing with a Mom&Pop business where you feel they really care.

Pedro was apologetic though he had installed the screen as instructed. He did an excellent job and was thourough even with the clean-up.

Dealing with LeafFilter has renewed my faith that there are companies that put the customer first.

The initial assessment and quote negotiation was concerning, but the team LeafFilter sent to complete the installation was amazing. On time, efficient, clean, customer focused, and took great pride in doing things right. It was easily in my top two contractor experiences, EVER.

Ryan and Kenzie arrived on time. They were pleasant and informative. They were efficient and steady workers.
I am impressed with how nice the new and larger gutters and screens look on the house without being obvious. And was delighted to learn the new screens and gutters are guaranteed for the life of the house.

I had leaf filter replace my gutter protection. I asked if they will clean up after they were done. They said yes and that they even have a big magnet to pick up screws. Instead of cleaning up they just left. There were mounds of dirt on my driveway that they left plus scraps of gutter guards left on my backyard. I also found screws on my driveway. They are supposed to clean the gutter before putting the gutter guard. They did that in the front but not the back of the garage. I see the dirt in front but not the back which only mean the dirt is still in the gutter.

I will use ANY OTHER company besides Leaf Filter because I’m sick of seeing so many of their commercials.

DON'T USE LEAF FILTER. THEY ARE OVERPRICED ❗THEY CHARGED ME $800 FOR ONE GUTTER. I MIST BE FN STUPID TO PAY THOSE RATES AND THE INSTALLERS SPEAK NO ENGLISH ❗I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW RECLINER COUCH AT AF & FURNITURE AND MATTRESS FOR $877.

Leaf Filter is not taking responsibility for a water leak that was created when the leaf filter system was installed. We have a water leak that runs behind the gutter down a window that will cause water damage to the window frame. We made three Leaf Filter warranty service calls. The first time they claimed to fix the problem (which they didn't). The second and third times they claimed that it was not their responsibility. The water leak did NOT occur prior to the Leaf Filter installation. We are now facing additional repair costs for a third party roofer to fix the problem that was created by the Leaf Filter installation. This is totally unacceptable, especially given the exorbitant cost of $10,422 to install the system.

Leaffilter may have good gutters, but their service is terrible. Called three times for a service appointment ($95) & received no response. Finally, on the fourth call were told (for the first time) we had an appointment scheduled the next day between 8 a.m. & noon. Waited - no call - no one showed up. Avoid this place.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY 'S PHILADELPHIA/SHARON HIll,PA LOCATION. Had Copntract # 54658. Date of service 10/2/25 with a window of 12-4 PM. When booking rep knew it was an investment property and AS owner would need to travel 2-2 1/2 hrs to be present. Was there from 11:00-6:00 with still a no show. Called 5 times from 3:30 on to be told by corporate they were sending a message. Never rec'd a call back but was given local office #. Left 2 messages there unsuccessfully. Next day rec'd a call from a cell phone saying he would be at the property at 2. Called corporate again and was told there was a problem with a cell phone the day prior. Given the travel logistics involved with a call after 11 that day for service at 2, i asked for a call from mgt. Needless to say, my contract was cancelled.

They or one of their affiliates has hired a scam marketing company to send emails from URL's that are NOT leaffilter.com. Some are .edu, .shop or other non-affiliated companies.

Calling the company to report this insidious activity, they could care less about their reputation.

Strange part is, I never subscribed to ANY of their communications. More proof Leaf Filter hired a scam company to send phishing emails to unsuspecting people.

SHAME ON LEAF FILTER for allowing this disreputable activity.
