I am always honest
I am always honest. First of all Andrew H MLIS was spectacular. However, the overall experience was very stressful with the admin. I think Justanswer thinks that we are all tech people which is false. We are not. That is why we call you. Your website has too much data and not the How to log in. That was a problem. I also didn't know where to find the transcripts in order to find valuable data for the future. I got the feeling that you were hiding something. You should have your Experts inform clients where to find this data right off.
This is important and IS a selling point because knowing this can take away some stress from clients. That is enough for now. :)
Service is good, but don't get duped into unknowingly purchasing a subscription by unethical third party sites.
I got duped into a subscription to justAnswer via a third-party site. I thought I was paying $5 to askalawyeroncall.com, whose page stated the $5 refundable fee. So when I clicked OK and entered payment information, I assumed this is what I was getting. Instead it directed me to the checkout page for justanswer.com where I unknowingly bought a subscription and was charged $46, and apparently I agreed to continually pay $46 per month until I cancel. The initial payment is nonrefundable, so I decided to use justanswer for my needs.
My first chat with an attorney was helpful in finding resources and directing me towards how to get my legal needs met. I would definitely have paid at least $46 for the advice I recieved. The attorney chatted with me until I was confident I didn't need more information. Very helpful.
I took off one star for justanswer for allowing third-party sites to directly access their checkout page, without verifying what the referring page is telling the consumer. This is definitely mostly on askalawyeroncall.com, but the fact that justanswer.com allows this isn't good practice. I think verifying who they partner with, and ensuring customers aren't getting a bait-and-switch, is important. Making sure the customer is clearly notified of what they are buying after being redirected is extremely important. The only reason I even knew I'd been charged $46 instead of $5, and had signed up for a subscription, is because I had signed up for bank account alerts and so I immediately got a text.
