Our son rescued a kitten that was in the middle of the road. When we took her to the vet hospital, they agreed that she looked about 3 months old. She has since had all her shots etc...
Tonight, she started showing signs of something I had never seen before, raising her hind end in the air and chirping A LOT. A slight clear discharge from her hind raised my panic level another notch.
Dr. Alleyne mentioned that she may have been older than 3 months when we found her and was quickly able to quell my panic indicating these were all signs of being in heat. We have an 11/11/25 appointment to have her fixed but till then, if anything changes from this, I feel extremely comfortable calling Dr. Alleyne back. Bella has since seemed to have returned to normal behavior with no more chirping. Scared the daylights out of me. Thank you Dr. Alleyne for being available in the off hours and settling this old ladies nerves.
