Dantaxi - Not reliable
I was booking a taxi a day in advance via app and received a booking confirmation.
The next day I had to call Dantaxi since the driver was not arriving. When calling the driver I was told that my booking was successfully captured in their system but there is no driver on the way.
I had to find another solution and almost missed my train…
Last time I‘m driving with Dantaxi.
Taxi Driver claims no-show while not even nearby
I was waiting for the taxi to arrive and could see that the driver was still, at least, 25 minutes away from me. At this point there was 10 minutes left until the pick-up time. Suddenly I receive a message that I was a no-show (based on either an incorrect address or me not being at the location). Considering it was the address to the train station's parking area and I was waiting right there..? Not entirely sure what kind of joke this taxi driver tried to pull. I called Dantaxi immediately and was informed that this, of course, wasn't proper handling at all and mentioned that I would at least get my money back. They offered a replacement that would take an hour to show up.. That doesn't work for me as, ar that point, it would be better to walk.
Dantaxi! Please make sure to reprimand your taxi driver for this horrible service and experience and these lackluster claims when you can quite literally follow them with the GPS on your app. I'm very disappointed and appalled that this was my first interaction. Doesn't sketch a good image. At least I don't have to pay for this mishap.

I had a taxi booked, someone else took my taxi and even though I rang Dantaxi to inform them my card was still charged.
I’m waiting 1 week now ringing nearly everyday and am still being told my card was not charged. I can see my bank account it was charged. Why am I paying for someone else’s taxi. They steal peoples money
Bad Experience with Booking and Payment
I made a booking with APP selecting large trunk which should accommodate 3 large suitcases and 2 hand luggage.
I planned the trip from my home address to Airport with my wife and infant baby to catch my scheduled flight .
While making the booking i selected fixed price .
Morning when the Taxi Arrived , the driver refused to board us telling he can’t accommodate that much luggage and told he will inform company to arrange onether cab and left , leaving us clueless.
After waiting for 5 mins i booked large taxi to avoid confusion with luggage with fixed price .
Before i receive any confirmation a large DANTAXI arrived , i thought its the one i booked . The Driver refused eventually, and to avoid more confusion i cancelled new booking .
The Driver was already having our information so i assumed its the replacement Car from my initial booking , and proceed with my trip with an assumption it will continue with fixed price booking.
Upon reaching destination i was asked to pay on meter reading which was 200 kr extra , When i asked the driver i booked fixed price booking , he was clueless what i was talking about. Eventually i paid the amount as i was getting late for my flight and
The whole experience was pretty bad for me and felt like i have been scamed by Dantaxi drivers .
I shared my concern with there team about the incident where i asked for a compensation of amount with the price difference (Quoted in app and charged by Taxi Driver) but there was a denial on the request justifying the incident .
I still wonder what does the Large Trunk Means if driver doesn't want to accommodate 2 persons luggage .
Extremely bad service: driver cancelled my booking when I could literally see the car, to accept another booking instead
I booked a taxi from Amagerbro station because the metro stopped running and it would be at least half an hour before they were running again. I could see the taxi arrive on the map and I could see it down the street. Two people with suitcases approached the taxi and talked with the driver, they then got in and drove away, suddenly my booking was cancelled as a "no show" even though I was right there. Clearly the drivers will cancel your booking if someone else approaches them and offers them more money. I have photo proof and screenshots to prove my claim, including one showing the cab's licence plate and the car has a dantaxi logo.

Stranded my wife in Grenaa
Stranded my wife in Grenaa - she called twice trying to get a taxi from the letbane stop. Both times no one showed up, and they said that someone did. Waited almost a half hour. On the third call they gave her to another dispatcher, who told her to call another taxi company. Utterly unprofessional.
This is a rip off company
This is a rip off company! Use taxa 4x35. I’ve been ripped off two times by them. Especially at the airport where they give you a can then charge the van rate for one person! I’ll never use this company against n!
Double charging
Double charging! Very poor customer service on phone and no follow up on website queries and report of double charging.
I took a taxi from the airport into town. At the end of the ride I paid by credit card, but was told that the transaction did not go through. I then paid cash. As soon as I got into my apartment I saw bank notifications that the transaction had in fact gone through. No interest by Dantaxi in sorting out the problem or dealing with the fact that the driver was very reluctant to give the correct change and didn't want to give a receipt.
stay away from taxis in Cph
so I called a taxi to go to airport bc I was late. I leave 2,7km from the airport ..and they estimated that a trip of 2.7 km would cost 450kr and they just reserved the money on my card. What estimation it is that ? Its already expensive 162krs just for 3m in the car and2,7km ..is this a limousine service ? and the driver was rude and yelling at me. And I never got my refund back though they said they will send it. So after it is extremely expenisve they even charged me more and I never got my money back., soon 1km will be 1000krs ..you are better off walking. stay away from taxis in Denmark and Cph.

This company categorically cancels their bookings - twice I have booked to the airport and they have informed me 5 min. before that there's no taxis available (DESPITE CONFIRMING). If you are going from Aarhus, ALWAYS get Aarhus Taxi instead.

one of the best Taxi driver in town
Today I met one of the best Taxi driver Egon (Taxi no. 524-4012) who is 70 years old. He is driving almost my age and provided an excellent service. The best part is he understood, I am a non native Danish speaker and he talked to me in English without even asking. We had some good conversations during the ride. Even the small conversation helped to make you feel comfortable and able to see the perspective of other person completely different. Thanks Egon and look forward to meet you again in future.
Left stranded without notification nor support
We booked a taxi to pick us up at 2am at Nykøbing station. This was done at 10 in the evening. When we arrived to this empty station in the middle of winter, and waited for over 30 min, we called and were told by a non apologetic, unpolite Dantaxi representative that they simply had no cars. Had they notified us we would have found other alternatives rather than being stranded in the middle of nowhere at that time. We were forced to walk for half an hour and book a hotel room, which luckily sheltered us for the night.
Absolutely do not recommend you rely on their services, as the consequences can be expensive, let alone dangerous.
Extremely unreliable company
I have booked taxi driver through the mobile app at 12.30 using card payment. At 12.18 I have received notification that driver is underway. Even though I was with 10 minutes ahead of pick-up time, the driver pushed notification at 12.30 that he cannot find the location (on a main street with other grocery shops and car workshops) in a town.
I rang to customer service 3 times as the purpose of driving was to go to clinic because of health issues and short notice appointment requested by my doctor.
The customer service answered to the phone flegmatically and said I will get refunded. When I asked to describe when and how they just hung up the phone.
I have made a complaint on their website and said that the money are just reserved up to 72hrs and to confirm with the bank that no payment is made.
A lot of time wasted in interaction with you. Perhaps you should train frequently your personnel to be more competent.
Brilliant Service
I had a few different drivers at the start of my time in Denmark. While their English language was poor they were polite and helpful and checked my name and booking details before the journey. I then had a driver that spoke English who organised for me to have the same driver for the remainder of my time away. The driver ensured I was safe as I was a lone traveller. The driver communicated with me for my journeys to let me know if they were late for collection and to say they had arrived where stopping/parking was difficult. The drivers were more than happy to stop at some sights and take photos of me on my phone, for me. The drivers that did not speak English made every effort to communicate and make the journeys pleasant and my regular driver was happy to answer questions, provide me information on history and even how locals live and what their likes/dislikes are which was lovely to have fresh input on cultural habits. I could not have asked for anything more. I found the hotels use this company frequently and while I was warned that taxis are very expensive in Denmark they were probably just a little more expensive to that in the UK, although not a huge difference. In the UK journey times are longer due to higher traffic volume and therefore appears cheaper however distance to price is not hugely different in my opinion. I used the Dantaxi app to pre book my journeys and for just random journeys. Could have got other taxis from the city as there were plenty around however preferred the safety of a taxi that is specifically for myself. I was never left waiting as I ensured I timed it on the app to be picked up at an address/point within 5 minutes of my own arrival time. The app has 2 options. You can input your bank details and they will deduct automatically once the journey is completed or you can pay the driver. The only negative I have is it appears for a fixed price journey it can be very expensive although you are guaranteed they will be there on time so, if you aren't in a hurry probably best to just pay the journey price rather than a fixed price but it's what suits you best. Also messages came through in Danish language and I'm not sure how this can be changed so I ended up copying, pasting into Google translate which was great and no problems. I have seen ample negative reviews however as a lone traveller, I cannot fault them and they went above and beyond being helpful. For those reviews complaining about expense, if you ask anyone who lives in Denmark or has been to Denmark they will all advise to take the bus or metro because taxis are very expensive, so in effect no one can really complain about the prices charged as Denmark is known for expensive taxi fares. I plan to return to Denmark and I will definitely be using Dantaxi again. Great service and thank you for keeping me safe.
Unreliable
Unreliable! Booked a ride to bring my son home after New Year. Received a text that the taxi was 6 mins away, then the ride just dissappeared and moved to Previous rides. The next day Customer Service stated that the driver did not go to the adress after all. And only then, added a text that the driver most likely had received wrong adress or the person was not there on time. All of these are not true, as I had my son on the phone the entire time waiting, outside the adress, and we found him there 1 hour later when we had to pick him up ourselves.
Very unreliable and unacceptable - an Uber would have been safer and cheaper!
Charged without a ride, terrible customer service
I ordered a car to move some luggage between two apartments, opted for in-app payment (GRAVE MISTAKE) and the car not only did not show up, but it registered as if the ride had taken place and so it was charged from my card. When I called to complain about this and get a refund, the English customer service simply hung up on me.
The worst service ever
Of all the services I’ve ever hired, including in “3rd world” countries, Dantaxi manages to be the worst of all. Over and over again, many many times giving this company a chance, drivers either don’t show up at all, or call asking you to cancel because of some bs reason. When this happened, I called their line and they managed to find someone else - usually leading to me arriving 20-30 minutes later than expected. Today, like clockwork, same happened: ordered in the app, a driver was assigned, never showed up. But they didn’t fix it. Called the company, the guy said he’d send a taxi who would arrive in 5-10 minutes. 10 minutes later, I call, he said it says the taxi would be there in 2 minutes. 5 minutes later, I call again and someone else answers, I explain the problem, she tells me to cancel the request on the app, then hangs up. I call again, someone answers, asks for the address, and says in the background to someone else “there’s no order there” (in Danish). I stop a Dantaxi on the street (so there are available cars nearby). On my way, the lady is telling me that because I entered a car (from their company) on the street, they can’t guarantee the fixed price I hired (who never showed) on the app (of the same company). All the while the taxi driver who was driving me was just laughing at the whole thing, understandably. I am so done with this company, wouldn’t even hire them for free.
