glove box is not close to fitting.

Got the kit very quickly and everything was there. the instructions were very vague but helpful. fit was good except the glove box is not even close to fitting. when in place there is about a 4" gap across the top that does not reach the top of the dash. just an open gap? you got to be kidding. emailed the company and do you think they would take the time to email me back. they just want the 2 grand and dont care after that. oh well. next car will get another brand. too bad.

There are other companies. Don't use this one!

Purchased update parts for an existing/functioning 1970 chevy system. Updated expansion valve, drier and POA valve to convert to R134a. $550 that includes a $75 core charge for the POA valve. Parts took a while to arrive. I emailed them since I never received a shipping confirmation. I was told that it would ship the end of the week.?! No communication. Parts arrive. While i'm inspecting the parts I notice rust and junk around the schrader valves in the remanufactured POA valve. After removing the schrader valves it was obvious that they had not been removed or replaced. Paid $365 for that POA valve and I'm not sure it is anything more than an exterior cleaning. When it came the the $75 core charge, no instructions. I called and emailed the sales manager about the returning it and after a couple days got an email answer. Felt like they just wanted the money and not the core. I followed the instructions and paid another $20 for shipping. USPS shows that they received my core. I've left 5 messages, sent 2 emails and opened a service ticket . . . . not one response. Looks like I got scammed!

ZERO customer support

ZERO customer support. You can't get them on the phone. They never answer emails. They never answer support tickets.

Do yourself a favor and either piece together your own kit for A LOT LESS MONEY.

Their "kit" is nothing more than some parts thrown in a box with minimal to NO instruction.

The instructions read like this:

"Install the new condenser and lines, then install the switch, then install the compressor"

Umm yeah? How exactly does one do all of that?

Or find a company that actually will pick up the damn phone when you call them.

I totally regret buying my ac kit from classic auto air. It was a long wait to get it, but that is typical these days. The instructions were poor and the fit required a lot of modifications. With all of that said, I made it work. The final issue I had was the bluetooth connectivity. I assumed it was an issue with my phone or maybe an update to the unit I bought. No big deal, I’ll just submit a ticket to their customer service. Three weeks later, no response. Overall the best parts of the kit I bought, they didn’t manufacture. The directions were terrible. I will never do business with them again.
