I requested a quote

I requested a quote to be emailed to me, they ignored that and rang me. Then i was asked for all the travellers details so they could provide a formal quote, I said at this point I just wanted an idea of prices, I don't want to give out all my families names and details for a quote. The quote was very high and I mentioned that I'd already seen cheaper on Skyscanner, I was then told their prices don't include taxes.. but the prices I mentioned did, so instead of being professional and saying at this time they couldn't beat those prices.. she just hung up! very rude and I won't consider them again in the future.

My review would be zero out of five
Spent at least 6 hours on phone over 2 days to correct name change
Paid $380 for name change and they used same name again then they called and passenger said he would take chance at airport but cso called me and used coersion to convince me to cancel snd rebook
Then said $2800 to rebook
Another flight booking made for 1700 but denied entry on to plane because need visa to transit through usa then finally another flight with air canada
Emergency assistance is non existent- no help whatsoever
Pushed me so far that i exploded with frustration -
Now have sent emails to CEO graham turner and MD for comment and also logged complaint with fair trading , them maybe media if no recognition of distress they caused and money for hotels , taxis and food

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Agents are not knowledgeable!

You won't hear any response or update from their end. It is you all the time needs to call and follow up with them!

I am unhappy customer here and they help/can't do anything to keep their customer happy!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! AVOID USING THEM!

I HIGHLY recommend everyone NOT to use this company when making a booking for your holiday.

False advertisement about Free cancellation even though it CLEARLY states so, but instead they charge you handling fee. Making adjustment to your booking also cost handling fee. Everything you ask, there is a handling fee.

Don't trust them!! Go elsewhere to make a booking for your holiday I'm sure anywhere is better than flight centre.

Received a 1000 gift card and want to…

Received a 1000 gift card and want to use it to fly back and forth to Florida this season. I should be able to easily get 5 one way flights and have 100 bucks left over. The only issue is flight centre won’t let me book it myself I have to use one of their employees and pay a fee of 25% of the trips value. I don’t need help booking a simple flight at all. So they sell a gift card of X amount of dollars all with the intention of raking some money back with a so call “service fee” I will never purchase a flight centre gift card again it is basically throwing money away. The saving grace was an employee named Sara (Ottawa Canada) who waved the service fee but the flight went up by 20 bucks - thanks Sara

Rip Off

I booked a trip. They took my money but did not send confirmation. When I contacted them they had no record of me or my booking. But they took my money and refused to refund. Total rip off.
Customer Experience refused to refund, saying the airline would not refund. It was NOT the airline’s responsibility. Flight center screwed up when they did not confirm AND told me they had no record when I inquired prior to date of trip. Customer Experience refuses to take responsibility.
I inquired before trip and they said they had no record. I call bs.

Customer Experience has investigated the matter and given full and comprehensive feedback. We empathise with you on this matter; however, the feedback remains unchanged. The booking contained an incorrect email provided by yourself which prevented the Online bookings team from forwarding the booking confirmation. Customer Experience was only contacted after the flight departure dates and therefore no refunds could be solicited from the airlines involved as the flights were marked as no-shows.

Flight centre is a physical scammer…

Flight centre is a physical scammer place. Do not go for flight centre if you get away from different agency or by yourself. They hide information just to keep their commission. They agreed that flight centre never can give good news except bad I have recorded one of the employee or manager said it. Corona time I booked tickets and trip through them, but they did not tell me that I can claim for my flight tickets refund. They keep saying that I still can use that same ticket but after Covid price change route change. And they couldn’t even tell me first time which flight they booked for me. Now it’s so expensive and they asked me to pay more if I book the same route. So ridiculous people so pathetic service. If you can not keep your promises so please help your Clint to use their money proper way that we can come back and trust you. I lost my $1200 and they couldn’t help me out even I fought with them 3 years. I gave up and started to book my trip by myself. If you need help from someone to book your trip go to your known people and pay them they will Atleast guide you right direction. Less spend and more trust to near your people but never ever flight centre.

Useless

I called them to add my middle names to my flight ages ago took two weeks for them to actually add it and charged me. Then I call the airline and they say middle names aren’t needed (you would think they would check that). I called them for a refund for my name change and they said will go through 2-7 business days. It has now been 13 business days and no money and no answer to my emails.
It’s great chasing them up when trying to enjoy my holiday

I will NEVER use Flight Centre to book…

I will NEVER use Flight Centre to book a flight again. You have to call an (international) call centre whenever you want to make changes. When you are o/s this is incredibly inconvenient, as there is no international number to call so you have to call an Australian number. You spend hours on the phone only to get incorrect information which ends up being costly. Basically all their fees they charge for their "services" are gobbled up if you want to change your flights.
Absolutely useless ... DO NOT RECOMMEND. Book directly with the airline.

Will never use them again

Will never use them again! Booked a very expensive wek away for our honeymoon with them to a "flagship" hotel in Port Vila. Our room was dirty, dated, had mould on doors and windows, no air con, no satellite TV (as claimed on their website). We requested to move several times but were stonewalled. Many other issues with the hotel over our time there, too many to list here. On out return we called into our local Flight Centre shop to be told they couldn't help as it was on online booking. Contacted Flight Centre online only to be told we would not be compensated as we hadn't contacted them whilst we were away so that they could have an opportunity to address the issues at the time. They could not have cared less. Will never, ever use them again, and would strongly recommend anyone else not to. Spend your money elsewhere, Flight Centre online couldn't care less that they lie on the information they provide on what are sub standard holidays.

Flight confirmed cancelled just prior to trip

Flight confirmed for over a week, two days prior to flight contacted me and said that flight was cancelled. I checked and the flight was still operating. It since sold out even if seats were available at the time of booking.

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH FLIGHT CENTRE!
They're by far the worst I've ever booked through. Literally a money grabbing company. Do not take the Captain's Package as it's complete BS. If there has been changes with your flight and you had options to pick from, once those changes are made Flight Center will no longer handle your travel reservation. It gets taken over by the Airline. If you've paid for changed seats, guess what?! You don't get those seats on your rescheduled reservation and also if you tell them to refund your money they will not.

I would not recommend anyone no matter what class you travel in to book through Flight Center.

The calls are apparently recorded but they refuse to give you the call ID number, they will not provide you with a Managers information.

Flight center was not even aware of the schedule change or sent a notification of any changes. I was made aware of it because a family member who booked directly with the airline was informed. I booked my flight since October 2022 and changes were made to flight since ending of December and until after the new year I was able to get a hold of them to find out what's going on. January and until now I'm dealing with issues with Flight Centre.

Absolutely waste of time. Wish I hadn't book with them.

Thank you Flight Centre and Elyshia!

I have used Flight Centre for years for my particular travel needs because they have always been professional yet friendly, and have always gotten me what I need at a reasonable price. Over the last few years I have been working specifically with Elyshia Derbach of Flight Centre. I have to say she's amazing and works so hard to get her customers exactly what they need and ask for in a timely manner. I travel with my family and my dog, which can be a challenge at times. Elyshia has always gotten me a safe and direct flight for my family and I and our dog. She has also gone out of her way to get me deals on rental cars when needed, which is much appreciated. Elyshia is wonderful at her challenging job, which is why I continue to go back to her. Thank you Elyshia!

Very bad online service

Very bad online service. My ticket is stuck with Flight centre for 3 years and I got no help. Same thing happened with my partner. Very bad customer service and all the agents lie and not do any refund will never recommend anyone.

Honestly I wonder why flight centre…

Honestly I wonder why flight centre takes a long time to refund monies ..it's been 6 weeks waiting for my refund .Will love to travel during the holidays but I cannot cause I paid a lot of money trying to travel with my kids but were denied a board by emirates agents
