I was excited to try USA2Me but was very disappointed. I was charged twice for a one-time setup fee plan and didn’t even use the service. They refused to acknowledge the double charge and blamed my bank. I provided proof, but they still didn’t refund me. This shows a lack of honesty and customer care. I do not recommend this company — I feel scammed, and I hope no one else has to go through this.

Usa2me were really sympathetic to my unusual shipping situation, highly recommended!

Although I did not use USA2Me, I am VERY impressed with the customer service and their business practices.

I signed up with plans to move in with my girlfriend in California, but we were history before I made my move, so I sent USA2Me an email telling them that needed to cancel. I was fully expecting that I would have to jump through a few hoops repeatedly - like emailing or calling them over and over to get my money back - as is the case with so many services companies these days.

Bow, was I was wrong! Two hours after I requested to cancel my service (Via ONE email! Without even calling!), I logged in to get the address that I had signed up for, in case I needed it. I got a message saying. YOUR ACCOUNT IS CANCELED. NO SHIT!!! Shock! Wow! :oO That happened so fast and so easy! And they had made no charge to my card!

I was expecting to have to fight to get the account canceled, and they did it in less than two hours after only one email! This is something only LEGITIMATE companies do, and USA2Me deserves to be recognized for it. I couldn't use them this time but I will not hesitate to use them in the future if I need those services.

My package arrived quickly it was well packed and complete. Communication with USA2Me via email was very good and I got replies back within 24 hours of each query.

In general the Customer Service Team is very helpful.

I have used this forwarding company for almost 20 years (I think) through my various lengthy stints in the Middle East and China. While there have been little bumps in our business relationship, I have found them to make very few mistakes and to be extremely predictable and dependable. My forwarding requirements could sometimes be very complicated. I am now near retirement and may discontinue my service soon, but I highly recommend this company, not because they are warm and friendly - because they are not - because I felt my mail was secure and handled very carefully.

This is the worst shipping company I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life! They have the most complicated and ridiculous procedures imaginable. They asked for a very difficult form to fill out, along with a request, passport, national ID, and even a bank statement. I had to provide them with TWO bank statements because the first one didn’t work. They even want proof of address! All of this for just ONE shipment! I’ve dealt with dozens of shipping companies before, and they only asked for my name and number. But this company is completely different. They even demanded that I add a new name, "Hussein Hussein" because some shipments came with that name on them, even though I never provided it. and they REFUSED to add it to my account, despite me providing the official invoice and tracking number. They demanded that I change the name to Hussein Hussein and provide all the information under his name, which I don’t even know! This is nothing but exploitation! All of this just so I can pay $5 to add an extra name to my account. I signed up for their biggest plan, and this is how they treat me?! The worst company, and the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company in my life!!!

To Potential Customers:
When I did a "forgot my password" they sent me my actual password in plaintext instead of giving me a link to reset it.

This indicates that USA2Me is NOT hashing and salting passwords and is either storing passwords in plain text database or using reversible encryption. This is considered a poor security practice because it allows passwords to be easily exposed if the database is compromised by a disgruntled employee, or hacker.

Hashing is a one-way function that transforms a password into a fixed-length string of characters, which is not reversible. This means that once a password is hashed, it cannot be decrypted back to its original form.

Encryption, on the other hand, is a two-way process where data can be transformed into a ciphertext and then decrypted back to plaintext using a key. If a website uses encryption for passwords, it means that the original password can be retrieved if the encryption key is available.

Considering they need a lot of info from customers to comply with federal regulations, I would consider them a ticking time bomb. I would be careful handing anyone with poor security heigine any of your personal info.

Update: Changing plaintext password emailed to you to a password reset link does not solve the major flaw of storing un-hashed passwords in any database.

USA2Me.com does not publicly share any third-party security certifications, such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 or publish any of their security audit findings. Be warned that anything they/or any company claims about data-security is just hear'say until proper documentation and audit findings prove otherwise. Again, I would be VERY CAREFUL handing them any personal information.

If any company is willing to sweep major security flaws under the rug and pretend encryption is the same as hashed passwords, they should probably be avoided.

Great service. Only 1 incident where I requested to foreward a package using DHL and specifically marked the option not to repackage the contents - there was sensitive material inside. They opened the package anyway. The TOS allows that, but they should not open unless repacking.

I highly recommend USA2ME to any US expatriate. Having retired abroad I speak from personal experience. Maintaining a US address is a necessity for anyone living or moving abroad for a plethora of reasons.

Foreign addresses do not have zip codes and this is very problematic as most US based websites will not accept a foreign address because a zip code is required. What are you going to do when your credit card from a US bank expires and you need a new one? USA2ME has been a lifesaver for me.

I live in the Philippines and I have been using USA2ME for years. The customer service is great and shipping rates are very reasonable. The scan capability is very helpful. Doing a scan of a piece of mail prior to shipping prior guarantees that you are receiving the piece of mail that you need.

We live in a paperless world, but believe me, there are times when paperless just doesn't cut it and you will need USA2ME.
